Tell me - is the Tables in Wonderland discount card really worth it for a party of 5 (including one 4 year old)? I am an annual pass holder so I get it for $75.

Our dining reservations include:
Akershus - storybook dining
Ohana's breakfast buffet
Crystal Palace - buffet
Tony's Town Square

We also have reservations at Disney's Royal Table, but we paid for that in advance and we are doing the Candlelight processional package at LeCellier's, but I heard that TIW isn't accepted with packages.

Also, are there any quick service places in the parks that accept this?

THANKS IN ADVANCE - and sorry if this has been addressed before - I'm new to the boards!

The break-even spending point for a $75 TIW membership is $375. If you are going to purchase more than $375 in eligible food and beverages within your year's membership you will be saving some money on the deal.

There are only nine CS restaurants on all of WDW property that accept TIW - the four value resort food courts, POFQ food court, SSR counter service restaurant (Artist's Palette) and the three Disney-owned CS at the Animal Kingdom Park (Flame Tree, Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus). Animal Kingdom is therefore the only theme park that has CS restaurants accepting TIW.

You should also know that there are 8 days per year, usually major holidays, when TIW use is blacked out.

big change from the past where V & A's, Citricos, CG etc. were all on the list - no more. However Flying Fish (Not on the List) did accept our TIW card last month.

All the restaurants mentioned by the previous poster accept TIW (V&A for main dining room only, not Chefs Table or Queen Victoria Room). I don't know what list they're not on, because I've used it at all of them except Citricos within the past year. I haven't been to Citricos in a while, but I believe they have not stopped accepting TIW there.

In fact, the TIW list has expanded this year, as a lot of Swan/Dolphin and Downtown Disney restaurants have been added.

Since you're a party of five, it's doubtful you stay in a Value, unless you stay in two rooms. Too bad POR food court doesn't accept TIW as that would work really well for you.

It serves me well when just my one son and I go and stay in a Value.

No, we are staying at Old Key West. It sounds like it would be worth the $75 for the TIW. My daughter and I will be going back a few times next year as well, so the saving will add up.

Thanks everyone!

It's definitely worth it for us. DH and I bought annual passes in Sept. We stayed from the 15th - 19th and got our money's worth from that trip alone - with just the two of us. We're going back in May with my parents and our soon to be here DD so it'll definitely get a work out in May as well. Well worth it for us!
