Tega Cay -Charlotte

I know not a Disney question - BUT we are going to WDW after visiting a friend who lives at Tega Cay!!

We are going in October for 5 days and wondered if anybody from this area could suggest thing to do for my Dd age 8. We have been once before but as it was August the local open air pool was open and we happily went there most days while DF was at work. Do you know if there are any indoor pools we could go to?

We live in south Charlotte, just a hop, skip and a jump up the road from Tega Cay. There is a nice indoor water park called Ray's Splash Planet, if you do a google search you can read about it. MAC (Mecklenburg Aquatic Center) also has two different indoor pools you can use, with open swim time during the day costing about $3.pp. Your dd would also enjoy Discovery Place, Charlotte's children museum with an IMAX theatre. It's very nice and would be entertaining for an 8 year old. HTH!
