Teens! I need your help!

We are going to WDW in March. My daughter is 17 and a senior. She is bringing one of her friends who is also 17. Along with my 14 yo & 10. They don't seem excited at all even though THEY wanted to go--I offered other non-disney parks instead. (We are also going to Busch Gardens for 2 days). What restaurants & activities would YOU teens want to do? They wanted to have freedom around the parks which I'm okay with but they want to eat sitdown meals together. I already have ADRs at Primetime, Sci Fi, Ohana, LeCellier (debating on...) and tusker house lunch. what's your favorites?

Hi! I really liked The Rainforest Cafe when my family went; the food and theming are great! The Earl of Sandwich is also great, but that's not really a proper sit down meal. As far as activities go, I loved the Tower of Terror and Big Thunder Mountain. Also, if they like shows, Finding Nemo the Musical and Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom were my favourites. Hope this helps!

You're not out of line. Not sure if you mean at home or at the resort? But all is paid for (air, park tickets, condo....) and it's not that they don't want to go, just the excitement isn't there right now. As seniors, they have a lot on their minds but they definately want to go. They are excited to get away and love amusement parks. Just looking for some new ideas. Thanks!

I don't understand what is wrong with those kids! When my parents told me we were going to WDW again I was literally jumping with excitement, and I'm 18! Perhaps they're trying to hide their love for Mickey to look cool?

I don't really like any of the sit down places, but then again my family is the take out type of people. My favourite sit down place we went was the the Rose and Crown in EPCOT's United Kingdom pavilion. We booked our dinner during the fireworks and we got a table right on the lake so we could see and hear everything! Great food too.

Good luck with them! Hopefully they soon realize how lucky they really are to be going to Disney.

My personal favourites are the Rose and Crown, Le Cellier (though I'll warn you it can be hit or miss sometimes, as much as it pains me to say this), Les Chefs de France, Boma, Cape May Cafe, The Wave, Narcoosee's, and Artist Point.
