My husband and I were there without our kids (woo!) Tues. & Wed. of this week. There were definitely teens everywhere! The screaming was pretty out of hand on some of the rides. So was the kids talking constantly through the rides. We couldn't hear hardly a word of POTC over the group of 4 teen girls in front of us one time. I was very glad that we have AP's and had rode it dozens of times before and knew what was being said. I even recall mentioning to my husband that I don't think I was that obnoxious when I was a teenager.
IMO, what was worse for us than the screaming was the line cutting. OMG, I thought I'd have to kill some kids that kept cutting. It's one thing if just one kid goes to catch up with his or her group. But it seemed like on every single ride that someone was on their cellphones telling their friends that they are "like totally in the front of space mountain" or whatever and to come and join them. We literally had a group of 15 kids cut in front of us on Space Mountain. Now that burns my butt. I did not wait in line 60 minutes just to have a huge group of kids cut in front of me and make me wait another 15!
(One lady even got nasty with some teens for doing that on POTC and said something to the CM. He was like "ehhh, sorry, nothing I can do".
)
Even the Space Mountain line cutting deal didn't compare to what happened when we got off the ride. Right as we were pulling in to get off, a teen boy leaned over and dumped his water bottle all over those of us in the rocket. It got me, DH, and 4 teen girls behind us all wet. I was so furious I swear I was seeing red!
That said, I did encounter a few very polite teens who said excuse me, wouldn't let their friends cut, etc. So obviously it depends on the teen.
