Teen / Preteen Activities

I have 12 and 14 year old boys. I am trying to locate something special for them to do. Do they have anything at any of the hotels, or anywhere where teens/preteens can hang out. I know they have lots of programs for younger kids, like the pirate thing & the day care programs. Is there anything for the 12-14 year old age group?

Great question, I would like to know too. I have DD11 and DS12, and DH and I would love to go to an adult dinner one nite. However my 2 are 2 old for the clubs, and I feel to young to leave on their own. Any info would be great.

Kids this age would probably love Disney Quest. My DS who is 14 would stay there forever if I would let him. We do go there with him and our DD who is 11, but they pretty much are allowed to wander around on their own. The place is filled with video games, participitory games, make your own roller coaster ( my kids favorite) and lots more.

If you're comfortable with it - here's what we did.
dd13 and 15 went to see a movie at the DTD theatre, while dh and I went to dinner at House of Blues. Had a great evening and met up with them at specified time.
Keep in mind - both of my girls have cell phones, and we do, too. So we were able to contact each other if needed.
