Teen Mom Series Finale

I think I saw that Maci and Kyle split up... is that true? What about Dalis and Ryan...they gotta be split by now... I cant imagine any woman wantign to put up with such a tool like Ryan. He will always let him mom make his decisions.

Maci and Kyle split up but are now back together. Dalis and Ryan are still together.

No LOL I believe that is a slam aganist Kyle. He looks like Bobby Hill and appears to be much older then Maci.

Kyle and Maci are still together according to her FB

Oooohhhhh, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

BUT I will say … MACI and KYLE look MORE like Bentley parents than Ryan. Ryan is so dark and I don't see one bit of Ryan in Bentley.

Wow, the Amber story is so sad. Thankfully Gary has custody! (never thought those words would be thought!)

Where do you think Farrah came up with those 2 friends in her storyline? Maybe she advertised for people if they wanted to be on MTV? I thought it was odd that her sister was saying that it was nice to see Sophia and she will miss her. SO does that mean the sister went to Deb's house and was with her in the same room? The footage of Farrah and the sis screaming at Deb made it seem like she hates her and never goes near her.
Oh, and since Michael was missing in the last few episodes is that when he moved out and divorced Deborah?

Watching the footage of Catleyn and Tyler giving up Carly was heartwrentching. I can't believe the law where they could not hand her over in the hospital but had to carry her to the street and hand her over. So sad!!

Winner Winner Chicken DInner to Dalis!! Loved when she called Ryan out when he mentioned his lawyer was most concerned about Maci living with Kyle-and she and Ryan were talking about moving in together. Man, his parents looked MAD!

I wish they would've had the reunion in August or sometime later than earlier this year. Seems like everything's changed with them already and I'd like a real live update.

My thoughts:

Catelynn: I really do not think that she and Tyler are good for each other. No, we never see them fighting, but they are terribly codependent. Tyler has a lot of anger as we saw in this past episode, and I really feel that he needs to just get away from April, Butch, Catelynn, and everything else that is a constant reminder of the previous 20 years of his life. Catelynn seems to have very few ambitions other than being a wife and mother. Now, don't get me wrong. I think that being a wife and mother is a very noble calling. However, I do feel that she needs some sort of education to fall back on. Right now, she seems to be waiting for a man to come along to take care of her. Oh, and for the love of string cheese, Catelynn, it is time to stop matching your eye shadow to your shirt.

Maci: I truly hope that Ryan takes her to court and gets shared custody. It is wrong the way she uses Bentley against Ryan. She acts like she never has to let Ryan see Bentley if she doesn't want him to. That's not how it works. Ryan is Bentley's father. Has he always be a good dad to Bentley? Heck no! But, he is there now and is trying his best. In all of the shots we have seen lately, he is there for his son and loves him very much. He deserves better than what Maci has been giving him.

Farrah: I can't stand her. She isn't mature. She isn't perfect. And how dare she complain to her sister about how her parents need to leave her alone when she is at their house picking up Sophia who was with them for an entire month? Farrah lives in a very special world where she never does anything wrong, is the most mature person, and everyone else is jealous of her, is completely immature, and always 100% in the wrong. Until she changes, she won't have any friends, she will not get married, her daughter will be a ***** and make her a grandmother by the time she is 40, and she will spend her life alone.

Amber: Does Leah even have a fighting chance? Her mother is a cracked-out drunk skank and her father, while clearly the best choice, doesn't do too much to help keep the peace. Amber is going to be in and out of jail and rehab for the rest of her life which, I'm sad to say, probably won't be a long one. I don't blame Gary for being upset this episode. Amber gave him ever reason to believe that they were going to be together and then she suddenly has a new boyfriend? Major foul on her part. They had agreed to do the party together so he was wrong for going ahead without Amber there, though. As far as parents go, Gary is a good dad to Leah when you look at it with tunnel vision. However, when you step back and look at how he is as a father when you take into consideration the way he treats his daughter's mother, he loses many points. Leah is the one who will ultimately lose in this situation, too.

And seriously, why does Amber wear those fake eyelashes? They end at a very odd place on her eyelids and they make her eyes look remarkably like those of Janice the muppet"

Anyone else see Farrah as the future Theresa Guidice? Talk about self absorbed, can do no wrong, spiteful, hateful, everyone else is the one with the problem...Look at Theresa...that's Farrah in the future.

She is so nasty to her mother! I will say that her mother lets her get away with it. What is that old saying about teaching people how to treat you? I just cringed when she was picking up her child from a month stay with grandma and grandma says something about having Christmas together. Farrah snaps at her that she can't travel that often! Grandma should give Farrah exactly what she says she wants. Just leave her alone. Do nothing for her. Perhaps Farrah will come to appreciate her parents a little more. If I were her mother, I would be planning a cruise for Christmas. Let Farrah have Christmas all by her self.

Farrah was so sweet to Debra when she picked up Sofia for that month visit. But the moment she didn't need her mom anymore, Farrah was anxious to kick her to the curb. Also, when her sister Ashley was telling Farrah that she was engaged, it took Farrah less then 10 seconds to make her engagement all about her. I can't stand that little self absorbed twit!

I hope they are kind to farrah for Sophia sake

Twit is so true! I can't believe that she had a **** job instead of saving the money for her daughter. After all, she must have known that the show wasn't going to last forever and neither would the money.

Speaking of money, I do not think that access to money and fame from this show has helped these girls. In the future, we will probably see books all about it.

I think Farrah is a horror show of a person in general, but I'll give her one thing - unlike Amber and Maci, Farrah has always been shown working and going to school.

Granted, they seem laughable schools (that she hilariously refers to as 'culinary school' which, yeah, no), but she goes, whatever they are. She also worked as a waitress, at that pizza place for a long time, etc.

Maci and Amber will never do anything with their lives - Farrah may be a terrible person to everyone around her but she has some kind of work ethic, goals, responsibility, etc. I think she'll probably be financially fine.

Oh and yes '40-year-old Bobby Hill' was a joking reference to a cartoon character I think Kyle resembles and that Kyle looks 40 to me, though he's like 20 or whatever.

Farrah uses the little girl against them. If Farrah figures out that it won't work, things will get better. I don't think that Farrah really wants the care of the little girl. I thinks she just wants to use her to get her own way. Come on, she made a big stink about how her parents couldn't separate her from her child when she was moving to FL, then sends her back for a month because it is too much for her!

I've only had a chance to watch the first half of last nights episode, but Gary...OMG:sick: absolutely disgusts me. It's really sad when he can make Amber look like the more caring parent-it pains me to even say that, but it's true. He was an absolute disgusting selfish horrifying excuse for a father last night. I could not believe what a slimeball manipulative little creep he was. I felt so horrible for Amber (and I can't stand her and think she's nuts.) The way he totally uses Leah and holds her over Amber's head is just disgusting and pathetic. That poor baby should have been put up for adoption, she has absolutely no chance. Her best bet would be if child protective services removed her from them completely and put her foster care. If Amber ever got her crap together (anger issues, drugs etc.) she might be okay (although it'll never happen), but Gary...just wow, he doesn't even see Leah as his daughter, just as a pawn to use against Amber.

And of course Amber probably did lead Gary on a little, it's the only way she could see her daughter; she must have felt so trapped with him. What a hopeless situation.

Maci: Well, Ryan's attorney sure seemed to be a slimeball as well. He shows a bad example of an attorney. He was putting way more fuel to the fire than there ever really was. I really don't care if Ryan gets 50/50 custody, he lives with his parents and I'm sure they'll make sure Bently is taken care of either way. I really still doubt that Ryan even really cares about the custody, but he's always gotten a lot of pressure from his parents etc. about it. As far as the trying to get Maci and Kyle not to live together. Give me a fricken break...that had nothing to do with Bentley and honestly probably wasn't even considering that Maci and Kyle continuing to live together would probably be best for Bentley. They've lived together for over 2 years. Ryan knows Kyle's a good guy that takes care of and loves his son very much. Being vindictive like that would only hurt Bentley.

Farrah: Nothing to say, very much over there stuff.

Caitlyn and Tyler: I agree, they really should go on with their own lives and it really isn't best for either of them if they just hang on to each other. I get why they do it, but still probably not best. Tyler was a little scary last night, and I could see Butch in him when he was yelling etc.

I don't think Derek died in that car accident. I think he faked his death to get the hell away from Farrah and her mother. Smart guy. Poor Sophia.

I want to go steal Leah. She is so dang adorable and deserves so much more than Gary and Amber.

Farrah certainly has some revisionist history when it comes to Derek, that's for sure. In her 16 and Pregnant episode, she talks about wanting nothing to do with him, having to change her phone number, getting her parents involved in trying to keep him away, calling him a stalker. Then, all of the sudden in season 2, he was the absolute love of her life and they were going to get married and spend the rest of their lives together.:confused3

Purely sociologically, I wonder about that one.

Leah is adorable, and seems such a generally calm, pleasant-natured child. I'm sure many people have thought how much better off she'd be but given the genetics ivolved there, I wonder.

Even if she was spirited away to a normal, loving home with educated parents who saw to it she received good schooling, proper parenting, a healthy diet (the constant fast food she's given, especially given that both her parents are obviously prone to obesity, is seriously disturbing - not that it's good for any child but especially...) - would she end up breaking out of the bog or would she follow the genetic path?

Kind of like Carly, though Caitlin and Tyler are so much more mature and centered and smarter than their parents (April sober seems quite a bit brighter and more sensible than I'd have thought though, I admit - and Kim is generally a normal person) hard to tell. Addiction is certainly likely a genetic predisposition for her though. Presumably B&T are bright enough to recognize that and discuss it with her at some point.

Just interesting, imo

I wonder about Dereks family.... wasnt there an episode with Dereks dad? One would think that with their son being gone, they would want everything to do with Sophia. (stranger things have happened I guess lol)

Of course, I don't truly believe that Derrek faked his death, but I wouldn't have blamed him if he did. LOL
