Ted Nugent Question? Legend??

I don't know much about Ted's music but IMO the way they throw around the word "legend" has me questioning.

It seems to me that if some one makes a commercial, they get a star on hollywoods walk of fame. If some one is a one hit wonder they are now considered musically gifted.

Look at it this way, Kim Kardashian is supposedly a "Star"....'nough said

Last I checked eight kids with 5-6 different women. I wouldn't compare him to Bono though. The only thing I see Ted sound off about is gun rights, hunting and dissing democrats. Bono has worked with both sides of the aisle.

The comparsion is in their passion & knowledge, not their techniques. Bono doesn't have a myriad of causes either, just 1 or 2 main ones BTW. Ted's also worked with plenty of Democrats, just not the ones currently running the show. Not all Democrats fit into the Nancy Pelosi mold

I had a friend who actually got Cat Scratch Fever from petting a stray cat that scratched her and she went blind for a few weeks, so that song really stuck with me.

Actually Cat Scratch Fever is a double entendre. It's yet another song about Ted's other "fever."

I can name TWO Michael Jackson songs off the top of my head. While I don't personally put Nugent into "legendary" status, lack of familiarity with his music by one person doesn't necessarily indicate where one fits into the overall scheme of things musically
