Hiya, just a quick daft question really - how do I call the US from a landline phone in the UK - the number is written for instance:

1-407-939-3463

Do I just dial those digits? Is there a code to add?

Hi

Do you know that services such as Telediscount offer calls to USA for 1p per minute. You dial their access number first

0844 861 78 78

then a recorded message confirms the rate then you dial the full US number 001 etc followed by the hash (#) as instructed (see their website for more info). We've used it for all our dining/tour reservations.
