Technical Question - Hopefully, it's not too dumb a Q!

I can start a new thread and post replies on the Welcome to the DIS forum - but I can't post replies or PL people or start threads on other forums.

Is that just because I don't have enough posts under my belt? Or is there some other reason?

I've seen several posts recently where I wanted to ask a question about the discussion but couldn't. (For instance, I just saw a post from a woman in my county - on another forum - so I can't respond! )

Is there a secret code for becoming a poster ??

It's a shame that all the threads I've read don't show up ! I've spent far more hours and days on here than it looks like!

I don't remember those restrictions when I first joined. You might try posting you problem to the Technical Support Board at the bottom of the board page.

I actually found my answer. Apparently, I was registered but not activated. Webmaster Kathy has fixed it for me.
