Technical Disney Video Viewing Question

Is there a way for me to view MPEG-4 video files on my DVD player? Is there a way to convert the file to something that a standard DVD player (that plays wav and mp3 files along with DVDs) could play?

I would love to save a copy of the Disney Video Podcasts to a disc for viewing later at home (not on a computer).
