Sorry to ask yet another techie question but I'm getting into panic mode and I know there are some computer whizzkids out there who may be kind enough to help me!!
Incredibly stupidly I started to download a free music share programme a few days ago (kazaa). I quickly changed my mind but some nasty spyware is on my computer now and I don't know how to get rid of it. I've run an Norton Internet Security scan which tells me there are some TCP ports open to attack and that there are 12 "threats" which it tried but failed to delete. What it doesn't tell me is what I can do about them. The support page is a joke - an endless loop of FAQs which don't help at all.
If anyone can help me I'd be eternally grateful as I had a new hard drive recently and I'm really afraid I've left it wide open to attack.
