Hello wonderful Dis community!
I've been away awhile because we didn't do a trip last year but this year I managed to talk my family into going to Blizzard Beach for a day while we are visiting my grandparents in July. Anyway, I came here to ask about Teamboat Springs at BB, I know you can take the ski lift up to the mountain but some of us in the party are afraid of heights. Do you know how many sets of stairs it takes up to the top? Also, everyone seems to cut their cameras off before they get off the ride, is it relatively easy to get up off the raft at the end of the ride?

Thank you in advance!

There are a lot of stairs but you can take it at your own pace. There are places to stop and rest with room for others to pass. I have no idea how many stairs there are but it’s safe to say, many flights.

My family always laughs when time get out of those rafts - it’s always a bit of an awkward movement for even the most athletic of us. Sometimes the lifeguard ahead asks us to get out before the raft gets to them, so it’s still moving. Sometimes we’ve gotten to the lifeguard who will temporarily hold/slow the raft which makes it slightly easier. You’re getting out into shallow water and there’s a ton of room to take one’s time if needed.

It’s a great ride, strongly recommend the effort up the hill if able!

Thank you @scrappinginontario I think they would be fine with the steps, just want them to be prepared. I think they thought they were similar to other water parks where it's one way up and it's a tight space- so it's nice to hear there are places to rest and let others pass if needed.

This is what I have been imagining is going on and that's why they turn the cameras off haha. That is good to hear that you can the time if needed. @GADisneyDad14

Thank you both for your responses!

Someone could likely prove me wrong with a step counter or elevation measurement here, but I'll give you my general impression.

The stairway that Disney labels "Entrance to Green Slopes" (the stairway roughly under the gondolas) is the most direct route, a little steep, but places to rest/pause as mentioned. They have sprayers in places but that concrete can get pretty toasty in spots as much of the route is in direct sun most of the day. A hot full sun day can make this path feel more challenging than it is.

The "Entrance to Purple Slopes" is pretty manageable, some of the elevation is ramps on the top of the mountain vs steps. The path has more shade and more foot traffic, so less hot concrete spots. This path 'feels easier,' to me at least.

The "Entrance to Red Slopes" (basically the back side of the mountain) is a hideous path - shady, but very vertical. I'm a runner and I feel it on that one. Not my favorite. Avoid. :-)

Thanks! I had no idea there were options to get to the top so always took the 'Green Slopes' option. Purple would be much more my speed so may try that next time.
