Team Renfroe trip report with TONS of pics & reviews

Fabulous trip report!!! I loved your pace too. There was always a new post to look forward to every day. So sad it's over:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Looking forward to your TR next May!

Thanks, pmama! Have a great summer!

Thanks for the great ride, Alan!

Thanks, Dallas_Lady! :thumbsup2

i really enjoyed your trip report, it was so nice seeing an update every day.

Hopefully you will have a pre-trip report up soon which i will certainly be reading once you start.

Thanks, Kirstie. I will post something on this thread when my pre-trip starts. Have a great summer! :beach:

Alan,

I so enjoyed your trip report as did my 9 yr old son! Clearly your TR counts as summer reading!:rotfl: We are going on our first trip in Sept, me, DH, DS9, DS7, DD5 & DS 7months, we can't wait and you've made it harder!!

We really are Griswold's, I married into the name, and always get comments checking into hotels and at restaurants when we're on "vacation."

We are originally from New Orleans and LOVE the Florida
Panhandle, you'll have a fabulous time. We miss it something awful, the Jersey Shore just doesn't compare.

Thanks for letting us be part of your fun!

:rotfl2: Yes, it IS summer reading! Tell your family I'm glad they have enjoyed the report.

I can't believe you are ACTUALLY GRISWOLDS!! :worship: That rocks!!

I love New Orleans and the entire Gulf Coast. Panama City Beach and Destin have been our normal vacation spots for most of my life. Last year, we went to Myrtle Beach, SC and we had a great time there too. :cool1: But I know what you mean....nothing compares to the beautiful sugar-white sands of the Gulf Coast! :beach:

Alan,

Loved the report. Loved the lists. Did I miss your top 10 restaurants?

Rick

Speaking of Griswold, I have a funny story. One day DH and I were flying to Disney First Class. Everyone was seated with their Wall Street Journal and looking ever so proper when the intercom came on with, " Good morning, this is Captain Griswold". NO ONE looked up except DH and I who were seated in opposite rows. We laughed our fool heads off and said," Well, we are officially on vacation now.".:rotfl2:

I only hope that when our kids are grown they will remember times like these we've shared together as a family. This was truly the time of our lives!

Thanks for reading,

The Renfroe Family (aka Team Renfroe)

They will remember - look at my siggie - that's me (47) and my family with my "baby" brother (43)and his 2 daughters at Blizzard Beach June 7th. My folks started taking us to WDW the first Thanksgiving after they opened in October! And we were hooked! We always went on great family vacations - not just WDW - but WDW is really special to both of us and we have raised 3 daughters between us that are even bigger Dis nuts than we are! We had our share of fusses - but we also had MORE then our share of great times and good memories.

Loved your report and pics - my DH and I are going for our 26th anniversary in Sept and I can't wait!!!

I just found your thread a few days ago and have already finished the entire TR! It was great. Loved all the pics.

Can't wait to try the deluxe DP this December.

It's been a wonderful journey. I love your favorite and least favorite lists. What a good idea!
If you get a chance, I have pictures of 50's PTC on my Tribute thread (in my siggie)from 1989. It hasn't changed. I can't wait to go there again in Sept.

Thanks, again for sharing!;)

Alan,

Loved the report. Loved the lists. Did I miss your top 10 restaurants?

Rick

Thanks, Rick. I didn't do a top 10 restaurants, because they all fall in different price ranges. What I WILL do is a restaurant report card, giving each place a letter grade. I'll post that soon.

Great list !!

Thanks as always englishrose47!

You are SOO right. Some of my favorite memories from my childhood was our vacation times together. That is why it is so important to me as a father to provide family trips for our kids.

We can't wait to go back!

I have sore eyes, as I've just spent the whole afternoon reading your reports!

They are fantastic. What a wonderful, happy family you have. You must be really proud! I'm so pleased that you had a wonderful holiday together.

Your food reviews have made me SOOOOO hungry!

phenomenal trip report . :cool1: loved all the photo's - felt like I was there again :cloud9: I have now added more dining options to my growing list. I can't wait for you to go again!

Great TR :thumbsup2

It got me really excited for my trip in September because were staying at Corondo Springs.

I also really enjoyed your dining review. I will definately be considering the Deluxe Dining Plan for my next trip. (and I will make a mental note to avoid Hollywood and Vine)

:rotfl2: Thanks, Verity. It was Soooo much fun....we are already discussing plans for our next trip! Those food pics STILL make me hungry everytime I see them!

You can start your pre-trip report for your next Disney Vacation.

We'll probably start a pre-trip report when we get a little closer to time. Still not sure what our plans will be!

Excellent:thumbsup2

Thanks, Minniespal!

I wish I was going back to Coronado in September!! You will LOVE it.

The ONLY knock I have on the Deluxe Dining Plan is that it really is TOO much food! I still think it is a great value. We just loved having ALL of those dining options.

Part of the fun of writing the pre-trip report is we get to come along for the ride while you try to make up your mind on when to go, where to stay, and when to book your ADR's. Whenever you start it, you can count me in.

Alan,

I'll have to chime in and 2nd this request! :thumbsup2

...and thanks for the wings picture on the other thread! :goodvibes

Great trip report, Clark...ummmm, I mean Alan:lmao: Your family is beautiful! I have a question for you...I see you took a pic of Tony's menu and noticed that my favorite, Cannelloni, is not listed...was there another page or did you notice the Cannelloni on the menu at all? I have an ADR there in Sept and do not want to cancel because it was at the request of a friend going with us...I simply do not want to have my tastebuds set on Cannelloni, get there and it not be available. My tastebuds and I thank you for any help you can provide :goodvibes
