Jane - I am doing WW. I started about the 2nd week of January and tonight when I weighed in, I reached my 10% goal! I was really happy because I have had a week where I wasn't real careful. Here are the things that I have to do to have the diet work for me: drink TONS of water (I swear I slosh as I walk around), record all my food (even if I don't figure the points, I still log it so that I can see what I am eating), wear "skinny" clothes (seriously...if I am in fitted clothing, I feel like I have a better attitude now and want to continue to do well) and exercise EVERY day. I do not take any days off on the weeks I do really well. If I think of other things, I will post them.
I don't twitter yet. I just got into FB, I can barely keep up on all the WISH threads I try to follow. I am also using the Daily Mile website and post things there. Sometimes I use time on the computer as my reward for doing what I know I need to do (exercise or eat right). I get a lot out of all the sites I use but I don't know how I could keep up with any more.
Andrea - Thanks again for making the logos! I would love to hear what others think about choosing what ever one we want or if we want to choose just one as a team. I just think they are great!
I will be following you on dailymile. I have been posting my runs - it was so easy because I can sync my Garmin to it. I do love the accountability of having people "check up on me".
I am working at finding a program for the half marathon and trying to figure out where I am at in the plan. When I look at most of them, I would say that I am easily comfortable in the 5th or 6th week of training.
I just looked at my running log tonight and realized that today I hit 100 miles run since February 1st!

That is a huge amount when I think about it. I think I can handle the 1/2 if I just keep up the training.
Great job on joining up with WW again! I have done it before and I am so happy that I am doing it again because it is what works for me. I am really feeling great at reaching my 10% today. I know there is still a long ways to go but I am moving and it is good!
AFM - I think I have kind of said it all.

Today I did run 2 miles in 20 minutes flat on my lunch. It really felt good. I decided to do it because I was so stressed today. Since my running clothes were with me, I just thought that I should get out and run. It was a really good choice and even my students said that they thought I should run more often on my lunch!
