Pepsi likes to destroy everything, she particulaly likes socks and will eat them whole then throw them up, she is so much trouble but I love her
you know when absolutely nothing goes right and you think maybe I should have bought one of those medical ID things they had at that expo because I might just actually die if I take one more step! Yeah so it was one of those runs, it was partly my fault, we had NO food in the house and by no I mean we had a pepper and an avacado in the refridgerator, and a piece of garlic and a tin of beans in the pantry, so as my employer set off to the grocery store I decided it would be too hot if I waited till they got back home and then ate, and I volunteer on Sat afternoon/evenings so I probably wouldnt get a run in if I didn't go right then, so I drank some Gatorade ate a few tums (to counteract the growling acid in my belly) and set of to do the 6 mile run I had been planning all week, I wanted to run 3 walk 1 run 1 and walk the last 1, well about 3 steps into it
my legs dont work, my nose is stuffy my throat feels like its closing up, I am hot and I have a stitch! I managed a mile before I had to stop and die a little
then I just ran when I could and stopped when I couldn't. I managed 4.6 miles, not what I wanted but I was proud of myself for not giving up and going home after mile 0.1!
OK so next time I will eat before I run, which is probably better for me than starving myself during then getting back and devouring everything that was bought at the store!
right

I took the dog but she was not being very helpful she kept trying to chase birds and triping me up, but oh well I was able to keep up a 10min mile for the most part. I guess it just wasn't my weekend to run
the only way I could make it through 4.6 miles is because I am just really damn stubborn
by the end I looked like a 3 legged octopus out of water
good luck with todays training

'OHANA MONDAY MIXER

at 10PM and decided to celebrate with Pizza and beer (and then a really bad heartburn!) and now I hurt, everywhere, like I just ran a 1/2 marathon again, it even hurts typing in this message because my hand is stuck in a roller holding shape
So I am congratulating myself on re painting the entire house in one weekend (and getting in 2 runs and volunteering) by giving myself one or two days off, mainly because I could not run 2 steps one after the other if my life depended on it right now. So I am going to relax, regroup and eat candy
) so I know how it feels to carry on in pain, so go you  I am very impressed! And yes it is a 'good' kind of sore but only just! it only hurts if I move or breathe or think, so its all good
And I hope I dont have to be the three legged octopus for long, its not my best look

well it might not
I know just what you mean about the going home, the couch is so much more appealing than excercise, I work at home so I struggle with this a lot
good luck

. I never was really big on all this exercising, but this P90X thing has got me hooked.Disney Mommy - Be strong!!!! I am sure the cake doesnt taste that good anywaywell it might not

Everyone else I hope you had a good Easter and didn't eat as much as I did![]()
Andrea - I say go for the cookie cake. You will need the carbs for all the training you'll do after work, right? Atleast thats how I would justify it.

good times
Steve gives much better advice, glad the cake was good, have fun at the Y burning it off, I am sure those carbs helped with the training
I know the couch she is a temptress. And don't even get me started on that TV we have sitting in front of it, and with good treats laying around its a wonder I am not 1000lbs
That easter meal sounds healthy enough to me, well done all I all day was chocolate, jelly beans and pizza, (no way I can make that sound healthy)
and good advice for Andrea lol
, I'll be back to normal.
