Thanks!

I did it at the Hartford marathon last year cause my girlfriend had leukemia and is in remission now. I was going to fundraise with someone and she told me that team in training would be the best one. I had no issues with the group. I'm fundraising for the lls again at Hartford this year. The support is really awesome and they are alleys there when you need answers to your questions. The only problem would possibly be the minimums that they set for the races. Some are set pretty high. For Disney this year it's like $3900 for the half marathon so if you can't raise it they charge you the rest on your credit card.

They give you lots of support and are very friendly people. I'm actually friends with a few of them outside of lls

I've done 5 seasons, 4 events (stress fracture that broke my leg took out the 5th), mentored 2 seasons, and took home a triple crown with team in training. I like them their mission is good. Their coaches are good, workouts are fun. I am currently running for another mission though hence no season with TNT this year.

Thanks for the info! So with the fundraising goals does that include race fees? And do you register directly through TNT or runDisney and then just contact team?

race fees are included. when you join TNT, they automatically put you into the race. I think disney puts so many aside for each race for each fudnraising sponsor.

If you are traveling and staying with your family you may be able to pay for those fees on your own and then have a reduction in the fundraising goal. You may want to inquire about that.

For what it's worth, I am not a big fan of TnT. They are only a 3 star charity, with lower transparency about their financials than many other charities. TnT also tends to stay at the Beach/Yacht Club, which seems unnecessary to me. There are better charities to run for that give much more of their money to the actual charity and not just the luxuries of the runner.

This and their inability to recognise the funds they raise help other than those who fight cancer is why this year I'm not running for them. I'm running for a group with a 95% thresh hold into research. I also chose to go this route because I believe its time for me to show others with my disorder you can live a healthy full life.
