Ok I must not have read your post correctly--i see you will prob try the 4 seasons..Not sure if you have been there before but.....
I have heard good things about 57 but I have never been there
P has been to L Atelier(SP??) and he enjoyed it I havent been. He said the tasting menu was yummy
We have stayed at the Hotel and we LOVED IT!!!Maybe you can try to spend the night too!!!

I may look into Gordon Ramsey's place....hmmmm......

Think of it this way WDW is to Mo as the Borgata is to Murph...

:lmao: If we do go I found a super deal at Showboat- $49 a night, and I get emails from Tropicana all the time with $59 a night. We'll see I guess.

Kat - not to get your hopes up, but did you see this on the rumors board?

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2055313

OOOOOOOO!!!! That would be awesome.

I am getting ready to plan our DL trip for July... dates not set yet but I'll be doing a PTR pretty soon to log the journey :) I'll let you all know when I start it. We will be doing WDW again just not till christmastime as I promised DH a different summer trip (lol... DL ... really different right ;) .... He's doing a hike as well... that's how I got away with it ... and yes HSM he'll likely be bringing Stanley with him so if you want pics of the journey I'll be glad to share with ya hehe, I am pretty sure stanley will be hiking with him alot :)

Thats it for now... be back in a bit :)

Have u been to DL? We have a few people planning DL trips here these days!!! I wanna go back when it's christmas time to see the Haunted Mansion Holiday!!!!

:hug: :hug: for all of you.

:hug: :hug: for you 2!

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

It's nasty icy out there. Just a trip to the supermarket (remember we walk everywhere) was slippery! Laundry is getting done right now. I also made the oven french toast today- HOLY CROW was it good!!!!!! KC loved it!

Since our anniversary ends up being the weekend of the New York Comic Con we decided to postpone Atlantic City for a few weeks. Instead I scored us opening night preview tickets for Guys And Dolls!!! I love that show so much, saw it when I was 16 and have loved it ever since. We are gonna look into some dinner somewhere nice beforehand.

These next few days should be weird. I know things are getting better with KC & I but being apart from him is freaking me out. I'm sure I'll be fine, I'm filling my days best I can, but it's weird. Slowly but surely, right.

Anyways I'm off to surf around for a while then finish my book (For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison). Have a great night all!

CE - Glad you had a good time at your FIL's party. :)

Rosie - Awesome deals on the gift wrap!

Jo - I still need to ask you a question. LOL Let me think of a good one though. :)

Mel - :hug: Never will we ever get sick of hearing from you. Hope you were able to get some sleep tonight. And you are right, the pills are there to HELP you.

T - Glad to hear your feeling a little better. Shopping ALWAYS makes you feel better, doesn't it???

Janet - I was so hoping for a Giants win. :rotfl: But, a PA Super Bowl would be awesome!

Margie - Post when you can and don't ever feel like your being selfish when you do. Everyone could use some encouragement from time to time and it sounds like you will needs some. Good Luck with your student teaching and classes!

Kat - Awesome on the tickets! I like Guys & Dolls too. I have never seen it on Broadway but our high school did it as a musical one year and I enjoyed it. Completely different I'm sure but still good. :)

Well, both my kids decided 1AM was a good time to get up and have a party. :sad2: I think one is just about passed out but the other is still running around here wanting to color and glue papers together. :rolleyes: It looks like its snowing outside though so maybe we'll have a 2 hour delay.

I feel so bad for one of my IRL friends. She's going through a really nasty divorce and it has been so rough on her. Her ex is really playing dirty through it all and has taken it all to a whole new level for his vindictivness (sp?) and using his child as a pawn. After hearing everything it makes my ex look like a kitty cat which is really hard to do. LOL I just feel so bad for her and her DD. :(

Well, Linds is out and I'm going to see if DR will go to sleep with me in my bed. I guess if no 2 hour delay he and I will be snoozing on the couch in the morning.

Night all! :) Or I guess it could be Good morning!

Oh and one more thing...

When would be a better trip for Disney...September or December?

I have pros and cons for each and I'm having such a hard time making up my mind on when I want to go. We've done September before and I liked it. Still warm and no need for layering. Of course there's those pesky hurricanes and rain. LOL December would be great to see Christmas decorations. But packing could be a problem (well, I guess not if I drive).

Any help or advice???:confused3

Thanks! :)

Oh, don't be so secure. We could always find SOMETHING for you to do!
LOL, don't worry, it's only SD's friends we toture. Not ours!

:eek: j/k Hey if you and Bob want a Date night Yani and I can stay in and watch the kids. SSR has a fun arcade ;)

:hug: Hope you have a better night at work!

Sorry last night was rough! :hug: Hope tonight is better!

Thanks guys! :grouphug: Sat night was so much better.
Tonight is eh. I'm very tired though and trying to stay awake.
DISin the sly again. :ssst:

In other news, we took the plunge and put down a deposit on DVC. :faint: We're waiting for the paper work to come through. So, it looks like our June trip to Poly is morphing into a July trip to SSR. We're pretty excited about it, and can't wait until we get a chance to stay at BLT - probably won't be until June of 2010.

OMG!!! Congrats! :cloud9:

What the heck?

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2048536

I've only read the first few posts.....

I'll check it out when we visit again. ;)

I'm off to catch up on everyone,,I left off at page 215, I think we are up to 221 now!!! :surfweb:

Yes...the Fockers get very chatty sometimes. I've been known to not catch up and jump right back in.
Don't worry Ed, I don't get quoted sometimes either, but I know the Fockers read :hug:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyway back to work.
Don't be too chatty tomorrow in the morning.
TTFN! :tigger:
:eek: j/k Hey if you and Bob want a Date night Yani and I can stay in and watch the kids. SSR has a fun arcade ;)
Z, you CANNOT babysit on your night at Disney! LOL! A sweet offer, but no way would I ask. (Anyway, SD can babysit.....:rotfl2: )
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I did read everything, but my quotes went POOF somehow. :confused3 Thanks to everyone for being so supportive. Bob's only gone till Wednesday so that's not too bad.
I did sleep a bit last night. From around 11 to 4. I don't think I'd have woken up at 4, but I heard Bob bumping around and showering to leave. I ended up taking a pill around 5. Then my tummy hurt until I got up at 6 with SD! So, this morning's not off to a great start, but it should get better.
Poor SD had one of the wires in his braces slide sideways out of the bracket last night. He's got this 1/4 in. pointy wire on one side now. :scared1: So, I'll be getting him from school as soon as a I can get ahold of the ortho and get an appt.
Gus is sleeping still and I have to get SD out to the bus, but I'll be around for a bit.
Margie: Good luck with all the school stuff and thanks! Oh, and don't worry about popping in. We're ok with that! :thumbsup2
Kristel: Hi! Don't work too hard.
T: Glad you're crusty
Janet: Glad your team won!
Lori: I vote for Xmas time, unless you have to go the actual WEEK of Xmas.
Ok, I'm off for a few. LY all
Good morning! Mitch's flight didn't get in until 10.45 last night and the cat decided we needed to be up at 6.00 this morning. :rolleyes: Now he's unpacking and trying to get someone to give an estimate on the pocket door for the bathroom. Luckily the door didn't break until the end of my grandmother's visit, although all modesty went out the window since I had to help her in and out of the shower. ;) It's only supposed to be in the 60's all week and it looks like rain so it's not a bad day to stay in. :thumbsup2
Hi Mel and Mr.T. :banana:
My choice would be December if you can get in there before the crowds. The decorations are really beautiful!
Jo - I just submitted an extra special question for you to show off your expertise.;)
Hasn't come to me but is it about tea Miss NJ?????
Porkchops are good !! Jo sooo you don't need any of our questions !!:rotfl2: You had to know we would be asking !! Can you imagine if we each asked Jo just 1 question a day !!:rotfl2: Maybe we should have assigned Jo Days !!:lmao:
Honestly please please don't there are so many questions waiting to be answered :goodvibes
Today has been a struggle. Are you guys sick of hearing about this from me yet? LOL.
Don't be daft Mel :hug:
OMG!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Thanks for the laugh Jo! I promise, no more silly questions. Unless I think of something really good! :rolleyes1
It was a legitimate answer but no more questions, OK!!!! Glad you're feeling/looking better now :hug:
Jo this site http://www.tstl.net/Children/Coloring/Coloring.asp has coloring pages and one is of Jesus when he visits the temple as a child. I think this is about the only story I know of Jesus as a child. I also like to remind the children that since Jesus was raised just as us that children have a lot in common with him and we discus some of the things Jesus might have done that we do. When we help our parents or play with our friends or go to school we are acting as Jesus did.
Wow thanks for that :thumbsup2
Well ladies it has been a fun few weeks but sorry to say tomorrow a lot of me being on the internet will end.
As Dawn said just pop in when you can and good luck!
I forgot to mention that when I got back to work this set, I had a late Christmas gift from another friend/co-worker.
Mickey through the years ornaments. :rotfl:
I thought that was very nice of her and very unexpected. I'll have to take her our to dinner or something.
Sounds nice!
Is that the word that got censored? :rotfl2: Here it's not really a bad word so I made that mistake :rotfl2:
We've been painting this morning, it's raining so no golf again, I did some of the kitchen ceiling, Dave did the walls. Because the ceiling has beams it's a right pain and takes forever!
Hi all, just a quick drive by as I am back at work:sad2:
Margie - Good luck with your student teaching and check in when you can!
Mel - Poor SD, hope you can get him a quick apointment.
Angela - Where was Mitch? I must have missed that!
Lori - hope the kids finaly went to sleep for you! Also, I would pick December only becasue I would want to see the decorations!
Slate - Thanks for the link, it says there are no current openings?
Hi Mr. T :wave2:
I'm off to call the pediatrician. I think JImmy has a sinus infection:sick:
Good morning, muffins. :goodvibes A new week... :cutie: that makes me happy.
We have school today, but tomorrow we have a field trip all day, so that should be fun. :banana:
Kirt told me last night that we're not going to Disney in 2010. he said he wants to use the money for something else. I agree. As much as I want to go every year, we couldn't do Disney and other things, so we may have to have a year off. :rolleyes1
I'd better get ready for the girls to come to school. I'll pop in later. :)
Morning lovelies. :teeth:
Worky workin' today.
At least that's what I'm tellin' people.
Jo - I won't send you any more questions. Promise!
Jen - good to see you back. Are you really thinking about moving?
I just hate to post when I am not keeping up and commenting on your lives and posts. It some how feels selfish.
Oh no - please don't feel that way! Really - we all know each others' lives get busy and we can't always keep up; there's NO pressure to keep track of everything going on at all times... we just like hearing from you! :hug:
These next few days should be weird. I know things are getting better with KC & I but being apart from him is freaking me out. I'm sure I'll be fine, I'm filling my days best I can, but it's weird. Slowly but surely, right.
:hug: I missed something - where's KC at?
Oh and one more thing...
When would be a better trip for Disney...September or December?
Hands-down, Dec. Holiday decorations, cooler temps, sunny days... what's not to love?! :cloud9:
Worky workin' today.
At least that's what I'm tellin' people.
Okay, that made me :lmao:
Shhh... that's what I'm telling people, too. ;)
:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: all around - a quick scan of posts and replies says we need them!
Man, that weekend went fast, didn't it? I had a really good one, but could've used another day.
We had a really good time during sista's weekend!
We stayed up talking until 3am Thursday night. Friday we went shopping. Sis1 got glue in sis2's eye while she was putting false eyelashes on her. Sis3 used hemastats to get the glue out. Sis2 is a nurse and called every doctor she knows to try to get a Rx for her eye because it hurt. No one was home. We put a patch on her eye and it was hysterical. I sent mr diz a text telling him what happened and he sent me a text back that said he wanted to see a picture and ended it with Arggggg Matee! :rotfl2: We were rolling.
We took the patch off and went out to dinner, decided to go to Fat Tuesdays from there. The bartender gave us a round of shots for free. Then went to Revolutions. All this is at Broadway at the beach. My nephew came to Revolutions to check up on us. All the guys were hitting on my 2 oldest sisters (my oldest sister is 52!), but not sis3 or me. We left at 12:30 and my one sis wasn't feeling good because she had blood sugar problems. Two of my sisters and I went back to Revolutions. Some young guy asked me to dance as soon as we walked in the door. Thank goodness because my ego was feeling hurt. I told him I wasn't a cougar. I was really surprised to see how guys try to pick up girls now. Totally different from when I was younger. When we got back to the condo, we woke the other sis up and I of course had to tell her how much I got hit on. She swears she didn't get hit on because of the shirt she was wearing. We went back to Revolutions Saturday night and I told her I needed to borrow her shirt because I didn't want anyone hitting on me. :lmao: Two of my bil and my little brother, his gf, and another couple went out with us Saturday night. It was fun.
All Friday night, sis2 updated her FB and was leaving messages on our little brother's wall. We were cracking up. I wish you could read her entries. I may have to copy and paste some of them here.
Morning :goodvibes
For those of you who were making wagers...they arrived Friday at 1:45. Now I don't know when they are leaving.
:rotfl2:
Can't catch up...but I intend to as soon as I can.
:hug: :hug: :hug: To all
:goodvibes
Just a quick drive-by. Out running errands this morning. Already hit the grocery and now I need to run to Target and then pick up the dog from the Vet. Had to take him in this morning for more bloodwork. Hopefully the results aren't too bad. I've given up thinking he's going to get better, but hopefully we can prolong the inevitable and give him a better quality of life.
Anyway, I'm headed to the Y after picking up DD4 from preschool. Probably won't be back until later this afternoon. Hope everyone is having a great Monday!
