He's going to Corinth, then to Little Rock, Ark., and somewhere else too...but I can't remember.

Mel- Some alone time just might be what you need. I have struggled with sleep since my "mom" died. It is no fun! I feel for you.:sad1:

Today I need to clean up the mess from last night.:scared: My dh is going to go clean my car. Tink has smushed her wet, salty, snowy boots all over her entire area of the back seat... window included. It is just YUCKY!:headache:
Thanks Jen. The no sleeping is really the worst part!

I DREAD cleaning out my Pilot to turn it in next month. As you know, up here in the North, FEB. is NOT the time to clean out your car!!!!

Yep they've all now shut down :sad2: They were I think the oldest shop on our high street, lots of other companies are shutting down too  Hope you sleep better tonight
Here too. It's sad to lose the oldest ones though.
I hope you've had a good weekend!

Good afternoon all! Watching the Eagles...losing:sad2: Check back later!

Thanks Janet! Sorry your team is losing! :goodvibes

Today has been a struggle. Are you guys sick of hearing about this from me yet? LOL. My throat is so sore, and then not sleeping last night isn't really helping. The panic got pretty bad about 10:30 am this morning (after Bob's WONDERFUL crepes..) and he just held me while I sobbed and sobbed like a big baby. I ended up taking another 1/2 pill. I guess until this gets under control I will just have to try to remember that the pills are to HELP. I've been much better all day since then.

My MIL was so funny. She called this morning, right after that little episode and she said, "It's nice to know that you're finally trying so hard to fit into our NUTSO family!!!" She makes me laugh! :rotfl:

We all played Star Wars monopoly. Never, ever, against Bob and SD have I ever won this game. :sad2: They are unbeatable. BUT!!!! Today, Bob was out first! :confused3 Then poor Gus. And then me. So, SD won the game (per usual) but I was glad to be second to last to lose!!!
The boys are downstairs now. I am making some Shepherd's Pie for dinner. After dinner we are going to watch Siimpsons on DVD-Season 3.

Bob has to get up at 3:30 am tomorrow to make a 6 am flight. Poor Guy!! I told him I'd probably be awake to say goodbye! :sad2:

Well, tomorrow I don't have anything on the schedule, but I think I'll go work out just for the temporary positive feelings it gives!!

OH......and V......We visited BG last Xmas (07) for two days. It was a really well kept, clean, and fun park! My kids loved it! We ate at the BBQ place and it was great!

MEL

Mel...NO! We are NOT tired of hearing about anything honey.

What else are friends for if not to listen to you when you need?

 for you darlin'. Things will get better honey.

He's going to Corinth, then to Little Rock, Ark., and somewhere else too...but I can't remember.
We have friends in Cornith. Mitch would love to live there, but it's such a small town. Sometime you & Bob should stay at the Arlington in Hot Springs, AR. Lovely old hotel with a fab brunch. :thumbsup2 Drinks and dancing in the lobby. The pool is built into the side of the mountain where the water from the hot springs has to be cooled before filling it. So romantic. :lovestruc

Today has been a struggle.
Keep taking your medicine and it works!

I just skimmed a bit, so sorry if I missed anything important!

He'd go to school in his jammies if he was allowed too:sad2:
That's my kinda kid! :lmao:

Speaking of footy jammies, DR had a pair on this morning. This kid LOVES to wear shoes, inside and out. So, this morning he had the footy jammies on and his shoes. He was making a true fashion statment.
Where's the camera when you need it?? :lmao:
So what phone did you end up getting? popcorn::
LG Dare - got the data package, so I have IM and Email alerts, internet all that crap.
Poor T. T's Turnip Farm.....Has a ring to it....eh? :confused3
Hmmm... yes, yes it does! :thumbsup2
Feel better sweetie. We love you! Crusty or not!
Ummm... thanks I think. :confused3 :lmao:
I also just ordered some movies from the Disney Movie Club to put away for August drive for Jimmy. Got him the Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company, The Love Bug (The orginal--not the Lindsay Rehab version), and Gus the kicking Mule.
I love the Great Mouse Detective!
In other news, we took the plunge and put down a deposit on DVC. :faint: We're waiting for the paper work to come through. So, it looks like our June trip to Poly is morphing into a July trip to SSR. We're pretty excited about it, and can't wait until we get a chance to stay at BLT - probably won't be until June of 2010.
Whoo HOOO!!! Congrats, neighbor!! I feel your pain - we can't stay at our home resort until 2010 either. :guilty:
What the heck?

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2048536

I've only read the first few posts..... :confused3
WTH??????
Evening everyone! I need help! Jim is working on the DVD from the August trip. We need an idea for a a song to be payed over the Fockerfest pictures. We were thinking of downloading some German music on iTunes, but I thought you all could come with a better idea! Hellllllp!
Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of your life) :thumbsup2
Oh is that posted? I haven't been able to get on the site for ages!!!! Do you think she'll know I was talking about her? ;) :rotfl2:

OMG!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Thanks for the laugh Jo! I promise, no more silly questions. Unless I think of something really good! :rolleyes1

Mo: Get better soon!!

Mel: I think you need one of these.

So I felt better today - I'm more crusty than oozy, (TMI??) so I ventured out to the other Motherland.... the MALL!! Grabbed Maddie some really cute things from L2, but we could not find any shoes for her. Grrrrr!!! She's so hard to shop for shoes for. One of the shoe stores at the mall had all their Crocs for $9.99. All I could find was Evan's size, so I grabbed him some Navy caymans.

Gonna go try to catch up.... talk to you all later!

Jo this site http://www.tstl.net/Children/Coloring/Coloring.asp has coloring pages and one is of Jesus when he visits the temple as a child. I think this is about the only story I know of Jesus as a child. I also like to remind the children that since Jesus was raised just as us that children have a lot in common with him and we discus some of the things Jesus might have done that we do. When we help our parents or play with our friends or go to school we are acting as Jesus did.

Well, Janet, your day is better than mine.

:cheer2: :cheer2: I still can't believe they pulled it off!

Thanks Janet! Sorry your team is losing! :goodvibes

They came back and won :cheer2:

Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of your life) :thumbsup2

We found a song that when translated means Beer Here!:thumbsup2

Gonna go try to catch up.... talk to you all later!

Bye!

=====================================================

The Eagles won:cheer2: My company is gone and we are now getting ready to play Scene It 0 Disney version. Will check back later!:thumbsup2

Mel- thinking we're tired of hearing about your struggles is just another way we talk ugly to ourselves, which makes us feel worse. It's not true, either. We love you and when you struggle, we want to be here for you. :grouphug:

MEL

Please Mel never feel like we do not want to here about what you are going through. Also remember the medication is there to help. You can work through all of this a lot easier if you are on the meds. How long will Bob be away?

Well ladies it has been a fun few weeks but sorry to say tomorrow a lot of me being on the internet will end. I will be student teaching all day and then have class two nights a week along with 3 nights of working the after school program at Bugs school. Add in studying and I will be my usual MIA. I will try harder to get on here some. I just hate to post when I am not keeping up and commenting on your lives and posts. It some how feels selfish. Like I am only thinking of me and what I am doing. I am sure I will need to be on a few times to find things for my next trip and I will be cutting back on FB but will also try and post an update here or there and play with my pet. Hope life goes smooth for all of you and I will share when I can for the next few weeks.

  for all of you.

Never thought I would ever say this. So glad to hear you are crusty. Hard to believe crusty is an improvement to anything.

Margie- Don't feel like you shouldn't post if you can't keep up with all the chatting. We're all friends here. No one feels like you're being selfish- we just want to know you're doing alright. We all go through different times in our lives where we have more time or less time to spend on things. Don't be a stranger! :goodvibes You're going to need your on-line hugs even more now with all of that going on!

Just a fly-by, busy at work.

Happy Sunday!
Day 4 on the foot drama and no improvement, still wearing the air cast and popping Aleve. I have the Dr tomorrow, the only thing is the Dr is a bit a of drive (actually not far from T2). It is my right foot and I am nervous driving. My appointment is at 4 so I will be heading home during rush hour, unless I stop over my brothers (he lives near there too) and invite myself to dinner...

Please be careful!

The party was really a lot of fun last night. My favorite college age nephew did come (I wasn't sure) and we had good talks. My FIL is "training" a young lady to take over for him at some point (he's not retired, and yep, that was HIS 80th b-day party we had) and she and her DH were really fun to talk to, also.

And, I don't feel too bad today even though I consumed vast quantities of wine.

The food was nice and the company was great. My parents are still here for now as well, and it's nice that my mom isn't being tied to my grandma for a day.

We got in Friday night with no issue even though it snowed and snowed - we were early, even, but it snowed most of the day yesterday, which wasn't in the forecasts. D & I drove to our friend's father's funeral in near blizzard conditions - no visibility, roads not cleared, etc. But, it really meant a lot to them that we came, so it was worth it.

I think tonight we are going to leave the boys here with my MIL tonight and spend the night with my BIL and his fiancee in their new condo. She's off work tomorrow - I don't know if he has school (he's getting his MBA) or not, but that's good. MIL is not working tomorrow, either, so we won't have to rush back for the kids.

Glad you are OK and having fun!

 to you too. Best wishes on the teaching and learning! Don't be afraid to pop in and ask some one for a summary of events.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

I forgot to mention that when I got back to work this set, I had a late Christmas gift from another friend/co-worker.
Mickey through the years ornaments. :rotfl:
I thought that was very nice of her and very unexpected. I'll have to take her our to dinner or something.

Like I said I am busy. Have a great evening everyone!
