So my mom (who works at the hospital too in the same department) and I got there and the managers looked grumpy and nothing was ready so we left. And then they wonder why the employees don't give them good reviews.

I do not have any favorites. I buy some for ds to watch and dd loves Peter Pan. I do not care for any of them. Ds doesn't even watch them much. We love WDW but could do with out the movies.​

My boys are being good, but give it time...

DH is working an ambulance shift overnight tonight. He may stop and visit his mom on the way to work. There's still no change in her condition. Still in a collar staring at the ceiling. Doctors told my FIL yesterday that they hope she'll be home for Christmas! That's almost a week away!

Hi Jodi! Poor MIL! I hope she's home for Xmas and I'm so glad your DD is on the mend!

We went out to the store, then, but the roads really aren't near as clear as I expected - the famous New England plows are not cutting it today.

Now we're supposed to get 6-12 inches MORE of heavy, wet, snow tomorrow, which, the warning says "may cause additional power outages." AAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

Okay, I must be channeling Janet because I've now gotten my 1/2 bath cleaned, my floors swept (but not mopped yet) and my kitchen cleaned. I must also be channeling a little bit of Mel because now I'm baking cookies too! I won't mention that they're from premade cookie dough I bought from DD7's school though.

Bwahahahahaha. If you'd been channelling me, you'd have thrown your hands up in disgust. (Like I'm about to do...)

So I got home, ate something and got ready to go to my friend's birthday party. We went to some clubs, drank, danced and I got home at 5am . It was fun, no pics yet since I wasn't the one taking pictures.

So, listen to my morning. Got up early, made coffee and orange rolls. My sis called about 8:10 am! I yelled at her for waking everyone up! LOL. She has an infant, she thinks EVERYONE is up early...

Then things went all wonky. I had to bring Gus to drums at ONE music store, and SD to guitar at another. The guitar that SD wants for Xmas is at Gus' drum lesson store. And SD's lesson was a half hour past Gus'. So, left house at 10:45, drove to Gus' lesson, dropped him off, left with SD to get him across town to other store for 11:30. We ask the people there if the drum silencers for Gus' drums are available, they look around and discover that NO they have every size but the one we need. I leave SD (though it's not yet time for his lesson, because I need to get across town to pick up Gus at 11:30...) Drive back to first store. Negotiate deal for guitar, case etc. HIDE it in my trunk (admonish Gus NOT to tell SD) then get a call from SD (it's now 11:45 and he should be IN lesson till 12) that his instructor never showed or called. VERY unlike him!!! So, I shoot back over there, pick up SD and then we start the drive back home. While driving I call the snowboard store for Gus's board and discover that NO they don't have ANY boards in his size AT ALL. And the manufacturer is OUT.... So, she says that they ordered some in the next size down, can I bring him in TODAY? Ok, drop off SD at home and drive to the snowboard shop to discover that the board is on order, but that we can put it on layaway and when it arrives it's ours. So, $485 dollars later I'm home again!!!!

Good gracious. Now, I have hair dye in my hair, just got the apple pie out of the oven. I have squash in there now and I fiinished frosting and putting sprinkles on the cupcakes. Just have to rinse the dye, shower, and get dressed for the party which is at 5. Bob just called and he's stuck in traffic HECK near the mall. He's buying the wine on the way home!

Well, the dough was already made, so I just scooped it out and baked it. I ate a few... but the majority are going either in the freezer or in gift boxes.

Well, all the cookies are made. The girls painted some suncatchers to give to grandma. DD4 is sooooo tired (from the meds) that she had a total meltdown about painting them. So, both girls are on the sofa watching Dumbo. I'm hoping that DD4 will take a short nap -- enough to get her through the evening, but not keep her up too late tonight. I need to get some wrapping done!

I sent DH to the grocery for me. I still haven't gotten dressed yet today. I've been cleaning and baking in my jammies and a sweatshirt. My next job is to get all the receipts put in the computer and pay bills. Fun, huh?

So I risked life and limb to get home from work Friday morning at 4 AM. What a mess. It started raining around midnight. It rained hard. Then it started turning to slush/ice. It usually takes me 20 minutes to get home. I left at 3:50 AM and didn't get to my usual halfway point until 4:10 AM. I called Doug to let him know I could only drive about 35 MPH. There was so much slush and run off that there was some major flooding. My drive belt kept getting wet and squealing/slipping. I thought I was going to end up stranded on the side of the road. I finally made it at 4:40 AM. Girls and boys, I'd rather drive in snow!!

They haven't put down any new gravel on our county lanes for a while. They never plow back here. Later on when I went to meet my brother for lunch our back roads were like a sheet of glass. Very scary! The main roads were fine by then though. Had a good salad at O'Chucks and swung by Wally World. Our back roads were clear when I got back home at 2:30 PM.

I went to bed at 11:00 PM and woke up at 3 AM. So I worked on the budget for next month and cleaned the guest bedroom. I laid back down around 6 AM and slept until 11 AM. I didn't mean to do that. I had a lot to do today. I'm working on laundry, painting the wall I primered the other day and chatting with your guys. Any volunteers to help me clean the rest of the house??? Anyone? Oh come on it's not that bad, really!! I'll probably wait until Monday as we will be gone most of the day tomorrow.

I've added quite a few updates to my TR. Hint, Hint I will finish it before we leave on the 24th for NC.

I'm posting the videos from the Farmhouse lights. Again I apologize for the quality. I need more practice with my camera. There is sound also. The best video I had won't load to You Tube but I think you can get the idea from these.

Later on this evening, Jon, T, and I will be going to a light display. We have a local eatery who has a Christmas light display on the side of their building. You tune your radio to a certain station and every 1/2 hour, the lights play in time to Transiberian Orchestra.

How cold is it?

It's not. We've had unseasonably warm weather here this week. I think it's about 72 right now, but the sun is going down and it will cool off a bit. It won't last though...a low Sunday night of 23 and a high Monday of 46. BBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
