1900 pf or wcc????

I've never been to WCC, so I can't can't give an unbiased vote. It's not a place I think Jimmy would like. He is not a kid who likes loud noises, being the center of attention. or participating in group activities if you know what I mean!

1900 pf or wcc????

We've done both, but I'm not sure we'd do either again, to tell you the truth....

WCC - we were seated in one of the back rooms and missed the majority of the antics. Our waitress really wasn't "into" it. The girls almost missed the pony races. The food was not bad though and I think we would have enjoyed it more if seated in the main dining room.

1900PF - the food here is pretty good for a buffet. The character interaction was okay, but it's changed since we were there. We got the two mice, the Fairy Godmother (in the lobby) and Cinderella & her Prince. Unfortunately, DD7 (who was 5 at the time) drank way too much chocolate milk this night and got sick all over the table. So, we had to leave a bit earlier than planned! :scared1: I felt really sorry for the honeymooners sitting at the table next to us!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, I'm feeling sorta ucky today. Not sick, but I've had a headache since mid-morning and I don't feel like doing anything. Luckily for me, I don't have anything too pressing to do. DD5 has a really bad cough and was up quite a bit last night coughing (so that kept me awake too). I was going to go to the gym, but she screamed about not wanting to go. I told her that if she didn't want to go to the gym, then she'd have to take a nap. She came home from preschool and immediately fell asleep on the sofa! Guess that will teach me!
Maybe I'll go join her for a bit until DD7 gets home from school....
Hi everyone!
Kat: Your meals always sound so good! Bunny hasn't got a name yet. Maybe when Gus gets home?
TE: 5 degrees!? That's gotta be cold for you guys. It's going to be that here tomorrow morning. Brrrr.
Rachel: I haven't been to either 1900 or WCC yet (going to 1900 with Dawn in 30 days!) but when Gus and I stayed at WL for his Bday trip, everyone in that resturaunt seemed to be having a GREAT time! If you don't want to spend so much time getting meals, why don't you eat at whatever park you're at? Or will you be at the hotel at these times?
Janet: Glad Jimmy only has a cold, however so do Bob, Sd and myself and it's NO fun. Give him a hug from us!
Dawn: I am happy to hear that the kids are taking the news ok. I knew they'd be ok. Really, they'll take their cues from you and K. If you guys present a calm collected front, they'll be calm and collected! :lovestruc
***********
Blowing my nose non-stop. Did all my errands and picked up SD. Just have to get Gus soon and then I'm going to put my pjs on! I hate having a cold.
Has anyone heard from T lately? I was wondering how Evan is.....
1900 pf or wcc????
Have not done WCC wanted to get that in last time since we were doing DDP but our kids liked 1900 the anctics of the Stepsisters and Step mom are a hoot...
I have heard nice things about WCC wish we had gone there instead of Cape May:sad2:
Sorry no help
thanks for the input girls. :thumbsup2
i think i might show the kids pics of both restaurants and let them decide.
mel-- i was going to eat in the park, but while i want convienence, nothing at mgm or mk sounded good to me. i figure something close to our hotel since we take an afternoon break. 2 evening dinners in epcot. 1 at boma after we go to ak. 1 bfast at ak. i would prob eat every dinner at epcot if i could. so many of the restaurants there sound great! see, i'm not a very good planner. that's why i usually just roll with it!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Hey there Fockers! :wave2:
OMG, I seriously tried to catch up and then I realized I'm like 20 pages behind ... yeah, that's so not going to happen.
I did get that lots of :hug: are needed all around!
I got a wild hair up my nalgas and decided to completley revamp our office/computer room, so I've been busy doing that. I bought these awesome storage systems from Target yesterday (Itso Storage) - I love it. It's darkest brown "wood" and really makes the place look great. :thumbsup2
Took Maddie shopping yesterday. DUDE - who knew a 7 year old could be so complicated. :rolleyes: Girl Moms: Justice is having their $10 sale right now and $25 "J" bucks if you spend $50. :thumbsup2
Sitting here waiting for the stupid Fios guys to show up. 12pm, my foot! :headache:
Hope everyone is doing well! :goodvibes
Plus I bought some cute spring outfits and I want to be able to wear them! :lmao:
:rotfl2:
I will have to ask everyone here their best tips on taking kids to WDW, we are taking my son, his g/f, and her two kids as a Christmas present this year. I keep having visions of tired, whiny, overwhelmed kids because I want to go, go, go :lmao:.
Wow you're a great Mom, so how old are the kids?
Back from the doctor. Jimmy basically has a bad cold.:sick: NOt much we can do except let it run its course.
Well that's good :goodvibes
Lindsey has her appointment with the psychologist today.
Good luck!
I'm doing :laundy: today, too. And cleaning the house. Also making Lasagna for dinner. Must be a pasta night.
We had canneloni :rotfl2: Oh and I only started getting hay fever 2 years ago then about a year ago I suddenly became allergic to apples :sad2:
Thanks for saying that, sometimes I feel I am boring people to sleep.
Don't be daft, I love your reports :hug:
Are you talking to me in advance? Good! Nice to see you too, Jo! :goodvibes
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: So Ab has a BF? Is this the one she dumped or another?
I am ordering a plain pizza tonight and making my own toppings to save $.
I often buy a plain pizza from the supermarket and add chicken, sweetcorn (frozen) anything really, also it means I can do different toppings for different people :thumbsup2
Great stocking stffer for Kyle who like to bathe in Body Spray!:lmao:
OMG Rosie as in Christmas? :faint:
so , what is ee 5k? i thought the marathon was in jan?? so , if you're there the 26th we'll be there 1 day together. maybe we can try to meet.
It's a 5K run/walk through after hours AK followed by an obstacle course and scavenger hunt. It's also a big Mom's Panel meet. My sister who lives in NY said she'll join me so I won't be able to meet for long but hopefully we can do it :thumbsup2
maybe i should take a focker poll.........................
1900 pf or wcc????
PF by a mile, we hated WCC the worst meal we've ever had at WDW, I know things change and we probably had an off night but the step-sisters really are hilarious at 1900!
So, I'm feeling sorta ucky today. Not sick, but I've had a headache since mid-morning and I don't feel like doing anything.
:hug: And for Mel too:hug:
Sitting here waiting for the stupid Fios guys to show up. 12pm, my foot! :headache:
The what????
Bob too! Weird!
Really???? My lips and tongue swell, I did a bit of research and apparently people allergic to Birch tree pollen (which season is about to start!!) are often allergic to apples too :confused:
Thanks Jo! I needed that.
Have another :hug:
Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday or better known here as pancake day but as Ellie is busy with dancing and David is at work we had them for dessert tonight instead :rotfl2: I had mine with golden syrup I think you call it corn syrup and sugar, not sweet at all ;) :rotfl:
Has anyone heard from T lately? I was wondering how Evan is.....
Sorry, I missed this... Evan's doing really well, thanks. His pain is gone and so is my worry. It was a long week. :rolleyes:
The what????
Cable guys. We're canceling our satellite TV and getting the new fiber optic cable, internet and phone service. Andy says it's better, but I could care less, except I'm stuck sitting here waiting. :headache:
Rachel, where are you going to stay?
poly, baby!! woo whoo!
i'll be leaving that day too. we'll have to see if anything will work.
so a solid vote for pf!!
glad evan is feeling better. and :headache: on waiting for the cable guy! i did that couple weeks ago. it sucks!
kat-- thanks so much for your input! it means a lot to me! sounds like everyone thinks our choices will be good for the kids. wcc is fun, huh?? i was thinking of changing it to something at gf, cuz it would be closer. but, i wasn't sure if anything there is really okay with kids (except for 1900 pf, but we're already doing a girly dinner). last trip we seemed to spend so much time getting to our dinners. i want this trip to be all about convinence!! lol
so , would you choose wcc or something at gf? ( remember with kids, not a nice romantic meal :lmao: )
I have done 1900 PF too and it was a great character meal! The step sisters were HILARIOUS! I was going to suggest Crystal Palace.
I often buy a plain pizza from the supermarket and add chicken, sweetcorn (frozen) anything really, also it means I can do different toppings for different people :thumbsup2
Yep, it's almost half the price to just buy it plain. Today we are having eggplant pizza with extra mozzarella and sweet peppers and onions.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a cooking machine. The last thing came out of the oven a few min ago. Now I can relax a bit.
I made a cross between the Jamaican jerk pork recipe and a steak and onions recipe in the crock pot. I used 2 big pieces of beef, the jerk seasonings plus a little worcestershire and chipotle hot sauce and threw in 2 huge onions and 2 huge peppers on top. it smells awesome. I love hoe the meat tastes the day after so we aren't eating it until tomorrow or wed.
I breaded and cooked the eggplant, sauted the rest of the onions and peppers until they were sweet and yummy. I also made struesel muffins (its a box mix :scared1: ). I even did all the dishes! In a while I'll order the pizza and that it for me!
We are going to see an apartment on thursday! I really hope we like it! Our lease has to be renewed by March 15th, so we are running out of time.
:wave2: Hi T!
OMG, I seriously tried to catch up and then I realized I'm like 20 pages behind ... yeah, that's so not going to happen.
Just find Kristel's daily's updates. They are fabulous! ::yes::
I was wondering why Jess said on FB that she had just had dinner and was waiting for a pancake:rotfl2:
Sorry, I missed this... Evan's doing really well, thanks. His pain is gone and so is my worry. It was a long week. :rolleyes:
Glad he is feeling better!
========================================================
Well, no laundry has been started:guilty: . I figure even if Jimmy is going to school tomorrow I 'm am still taking another day off. At our place if you take a day off it is considered an occurance. If you take 2 days off, it is still considered an occurance, so I might as well take advantage of it. I will just Dis and do laundry all day:thumbsup2 Plus, if he winds up not being able to make it through the day I am already home and don't have to rush to get home to go get him.
The chicken parm is in the oven and Jim should be home shortly for dinner!
Hiya peeps!
Katt - So sorry you are not well.
Mel - You too!???!!! What's goin' on? I bet the race made you feel a little better.
Drmin - We missed you! Score on the picture. That CM was wonderful. Sounds like overall you had an awesome time.
Rachel - Masen is too cute!
Dawn - :hug: You'll be OK.
Rosie - Why can't everyone just leave you alone!!!! Hang in there.
Miz D - I've read about the pirate cruise on a few threads. It sounds so cool. I think most of the Fockers/IP DIPS are meeting around Columbus Day.
Jo -:hug: I get hay fever too. My eyes don't get too bad. My sinuses go crazy though. That time is just around the corner here. Livin' in the farm capital of the world doesn't help.
Lessa - Hi!!! It does get warm up there???:rotfl2:
Mrs K - Welcome back to the mayhem.
Mrs the K - Hidy ho!!
Ed - I do love the shot of you wrapped around the huge margarita!:lmao:
Lori - :hug: Get well soon. I hope Linds is doing OK.
TE - Sounds like the skiing was fun.
Kat - I need to go get "Dead Witch Walking". I saw it the other day but Doug had too much stuff already.
Janet - I'm sorry you are still not feeling good.
T - Good for you on the organizing. Take some pics.
Another episode of:
'As My Stomach Churns'
Here we go. I knew the peace wouldn't last.
To recap: My Bro and SIL are divorcing. She moved into an apartment 2 weekends ago. Everything was going to be hunky dory between them.
(Sound of car crash, glass breaking.)
SIL sends me a text today. 'Have you heard from your Bro? He isn't missing me much. Already seeing someone.'
Turns out this someone is from our home town. You know what the SIL is thinking, right? She is not happy. I'm thinking - What did you expect?- but I told her, 'I don't think he has ever been the type to do the single thing for long.' She is calling me tonight to talk.
I text my bro and ask how he is doing and let him know about Doug's appt. tomorrow.
He says fine, "I have a girlfriend and she (SIL) is not happy about it." I told him it was a bit sudden and be careful of rebound. He says she thinks that I have been cheating on her all this time because she knows her. I said just try to keep the peace. He said he is tired of the attitude.
I can sympathize with my bro. The divorce wasn't his idea. But still, it is pretty darn quick to jump on to the next girl.
:confused3 :confused3
I'm trying to stay out of it. I guess this means I will never be able to have them in the same room after all.:sad2:
I probably won't get you guys an update tonight. We have to go to Indy in the morning for Doug's appt. at IU Med. That means I need to try to get some sleep.
Hope all you sickies get feelin' better. I'll check back tomorrow!
I had no idea that there was a connection to birch trees. That's very interesting because New England has TONS of birch. Bob used to have to get shots for his allergies there, but since we've moved to the midwest (where i hardly ever see birch) he's not had to. But, about a year ago, I sent him to work with an apple and he said his lips, tongue and throat got all tingly and itchy. So, he's avoided them since!
Thanks for the extra hugs. I'm celebrating pancake day today too. :thumbsup2 We're having gingerbread pancakes (mix) with apples diced into it and REAL maple syrup. I don't do log cabin. :sad2:
Sorry, I missed this... Evan's doing really well, thanks. His pain is gone and so is my worry. It was a long week. :rolleyes:
