Probably. It didn't help earlier when he was all, "Oh, well, I'll be home by 7:30, and you can relax." Where I'm thinking, "Oh, at 7:30 you're going to come home, do ALL the laundry, make ALL the grocery lists, thinking of everything, and do the shopping? Stop the paper and the mail? Talk to the neighbors, pack, etc.?" Sure. And that was before I didn't even get to do a lot of that because of Woody's problem.

Sorry, it's not his fault, and he was trying to help me calm down, but I'm feeling a little bitter, I guess.

Bob and SD are both still sick, but I think SD's is progressing toward something different. His cough is worse. Just really hoping that Bob feels better before Monday!

Aw, man, I hope that they both feel better. I'm still coughing, but feel so much more human than I did last weekend...

CE- I missed the trip too. It sounds like a lot of fun. How long are you going for? Do you have to bring pots and pans too? When we've rented places those are always there for us. I bring some food from home and hit the local grocery store when I get there to save room on packing. Have a fabulous time. I have never been to Maine, but would love too someday!



Dawn- Did you tell the kids yet, or are you waiting until you know more?

Jen- I don't think I knew that Meska was divorced. Is this from the man that she was with on your joint TR? Why was he on vacation with you, or were you going there to see him? Thank goodness she has a great friend to stick up for her and help her through his meanness. And again... I am really sorry about Jon! That little man is just a gift! He is showing everyone around him what living life really means. The hard way.

I just woke up from a long winters NAP! Yea.. I got to take quite the nap today after TINKS special event. I was pooped. My DH plowed and cleaned up the house for me, while I slept. I am so thankful! The winter blues are really hitting me hard, I need sun. My trip can't get here soon enough.

K just got home, so I can only post a quick tidbit. It looks like we're moving back to Austin. K's company wants him back in the main office to run things there. It's a great thing to even have a job right now, so as much as I so sad that I have to leave the people I've come to love here, it's what we have to do.

So sorry you're so upset over this...you know we are all here for ya!

I am a big LOTR geek myself, I am like you, have watched the Extended Editions about a million times and laugh my butt off at the MTV spoof of the first movie, you know the "Council of Elrond". Have you watched the cast commentary of the first movie, hilarious!

I ahve seem 'em all several times, extended versions. I am a big geek too! KC even got me an Evenstar for my birthday one year (Arwen's necklace she gives to Aragorn), it's huge and has swarofsky(sp??) crystals. LOL.

Well it's official, we're booked for March!!!!

Hiya everyone!!

Looong day yesterday, turned out KC had people in the ofice working late so I didn't end up going there till after 11pm. I went from place to place chilling out (starbucks, wendy's then mcdonald's because it was all that was open).

I did go to the World of Disney store tho, and they had SALES!!! I got a box set of figures from all the different rides (yeti, tiki bird, etc) for $8, key covers for $4 and tink folders for $2! Then I went to Barnes and Noble and got 4 new books with the rest of my gift card.

This afternoon while KC worked we watched "The Reader" and "Slumdog Millionaire". Both were way better than I expected!

Now it's gaming and trying to stay cool in our sauna of a house while it's 39 degrees outside. In here it's gotta be at least 60.

I'm def bored and sweating. I'll prob do another TR update, I'm actually about half finished. I do need to make the cinnamon struesel bread tonight so it's ready for breakfast tomorrow tho.

They have the pots and pans and stuff. And towels and TP, but not napkins, paper towels, etc. I guess there's not much around as far as shopping, and since we're supposed to arrive tomorrow just in time for dinner, and plan to ski all day Monday, it seems like we won't have time to go shopping, anyway. Mostly, I'm just doing what I'm told.

Well, I got the kids off to bed, called D to see where he was - still at the office and then had to fly off the phone, cause yeah, Woody threw up all over the side of his bed and the rug. Sigh.

So that's fun.

He says he feels better, though.

So, D said he'd go to the store if I'd e-mail him the list (he gets the messages on the Blackberry...) I said OK, but you know how it is when you know exactly what you're looking for, but the spouse just doesn't know? I'm expecting approximately 9 phone calls from the store.

But the good news is, now that I'm not driving, I can have wine now!

Just a quick drive-by. I've got to take DD5 out for dinner. I promised her I would since DD7 and Daddy have gone to the Brownie Daddy-Daughter Dance.
