Well, I'm going to get my kids their dinner and then leave them here with my brother while I go sign Linds up for softball. This is our first year doing it and I'm surprised she said she wanted to do it. We'll see how it goes.

I will keep that in mind---she had a wheat allergy as a child (along with milk, soy, corn.....)
I have several patients on gluten free diets and it's really tough for them.
Im sure you are familiar with lots of resources but we have LOTS of food allergies in our family so I have LOTS of resources if you were to need some. Its not that bad, really:hug:
I 'm sure it will all worl out , Ill keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.

OMG!! :yay: My Mom just called. they have looked over her blood work. and found no evidence of Leukemia. they tried differant tests. and Marrow is fine and the bloodwork is great! she has to go back every 6 months. the Dr has seen this before. but not that often.

her first words were, "well all of your Friends prayers must`ve worked" and she wanted to make sure I thanked you all for your thoughts and prayers.

So...
Thank-you!! :grouphug: I`m so proud and happy to have friends like you girls! thank-you. :cloud9:

off to walmart before it gets too late. I did a great job with the house today! :goodvibes it looks nice...
OMG THAT IS FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!I am so happy for you Carrie:hug:

Slate---we've all been through the allergy tests too---Ab and I have 4+ to dust mites. We have no carpet in this house and no curtains in our rooms. Blinds are fine. No stuffed animals anywhere. Make sure you have a good mattress cover and pillow covers and that all bedding is easily machine washable.

Allergy shots have helped me a bunch---I'm down to once a month......after 5 years.........but I move a lot which messes everything up.

ITA with TE here

SLATE-again Im not a DR, but on a standard panel allergy test(there are several) it is usually 0-6 with 6 being the highest level. So a 2 or 3 not so bad 4-6 =problems of some kind anywhere from hives to anaphylactic reactions. There have been times people test a 2 tho and have some problems. Unfortunately there is no exact science to it as everyones body reacts differently to things. Trial and error works best. Some Drs do "challanges" in the office or skin testing too.

HI Everyone!!!
Janet what are your dates for AUG???

thanks Van Halen, I didn't know there was a 0-6 range.

:rotfl2:

I guess I never shared the pink milk story...

When Leo switched to his new school, where he has choices for lunch, I made it clear that he was NOT to be getting chocolate milk with lunch. What I meant was "drink white milk." BE SPECIFIC PARENTS! Because he's had this horrible rash all around his mouth for weeks and I only just found out that he's been drinking pink milk because I said no to chocolate. :headache:

He now knows WHITE milk is the only option and the rash is almost gone.

Is Leo's real name Jon? :confused3

Good evening chatty fockers!

I worked 9-12 at one store and had to take the train to the other from 2-4:30. I did stop for some grub and coffee first tho. The bad thing: It's unpaid training. SO all this effort and no reward. Meh.

I answered calls today tho and I was really super duper nervous about it before hand. I made myself so worked up about it and was fine when I actually got on the phone. It's a bit weird because I know I'm getting recorded tho, they record ALL the calls.

And apparently 2 girls are getting fired if things work out with me. I feel kinda bad about that. So i just have to decide if this is the right fit for me and then everything goes into the works, and I can get PAID!

Anyways off to watch some tv and relax.[/COLOR]

Sounds like another good day Kat. Unpaid training is strange though:confused3

I had to read this 3 times because I couldn't figure out why there would be a problem with "pint" milk. :rotfl2:

:lmao:

That is fantastic news, Janet :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:

Thanks Kate:goodvibes :cool1:

Yeah, I think I'm going to keep it as well. I was telling her father about it and he told me to cancel but I have a feeling it has more to do with him having to pay the OOP expense that insurance won't cover. There has to been have some reason her behavior was like that to begin with and I know the divorce has been rough on her even though she doesn't come right out and say it.

Tell him to get over himself:rolleyes1

HI Everyone!!!
Janet what are your dates for AUG???

:wave2: AUg 9 - 16 at Pop and the the 16th - 18th at the Royal Pacific at Universal!:thumbsup2 You gonna be there tat the same time:yay:

Have fun shopping!

Thanks, I did. :goodvibes

I am OFFICIALLY booked into a room at Coronado Springs Resort. They gave me a good deal for being a passholder! Two nights came to $250. WhooHoo!

That's great!

I have a DS9 update:

 - I'm glad he's not depressed. :goodvibes

Really?? I was going to say that's been happening ALOT to me lately. As soon as I eat, my stomach starts cramping. I may have to see a Dr.

Oh, honey. Have it checked out - that's no fun.

CE - have fun shopping! I wanted to do that today, but it's pouring rain and running in/out of stores didn't sound like fun in the rain. Maybe on Friday.

Thanks, and I agree. It was beautifully sunny and 53 for a while. It clouded up later, but it's not even supposed to be below freezing overnight! I'm so thrilled! (mind you, it's supposed to be a high of 32 on Friday. Spring is not here. )

So nothing new, eh?:rolleyes1

Do you know something we don't? popcorn::

I've got to go to a meeting at Jessica's school tonight as next year she can drop a couple of subjects and we need to learn about it!!!

Will she get to pick some electives, too?

I forgot to tell you all. Jimmy had to take a reading test yesterday. Spoke to his teacher this morning. Jimmy aced it and is reading above grade level. She also said he sat very still and was very focused (which was always his biggest issue)

Great news!!!

It's all weird. The next 2 days he had testing and came home telling me how much he liked the tests.

Kids are baffling. ;)

But I did hear back from the doctor.....her amylase was a little high (pancreas enzyme) and she has a "cacified" blockage in her intestine. :confused3 THe doctor said it could be a lump of undigested Tums as she has been taking a lot trying to get rid of the stomach pain. Anyway, she has to take Miralax and Zantac for 2 weeks and then get everything rechecked. She is also gonna schedule her with a GI doc.

 I hope that takes care of it.

So, I have no idea what is going on in her little head but I'm glad she's doing great!

That's great, Lori!

OMG!! :yay: My Mom just called. they have looked over her blood work. and found no evidence of Leukemia. they tried differant tests. and Marrow is fine and the bloodwork is great! she has to go back every 6 months. the Dr has seen this before. but not that often.

Carrie, that's just fantastic! I'm so happy for her. :cool1:

I'm ready to throw my computer out the window, but I won't.

This made me laugh. ;) I hope it gets working for you.

Break Day/Jim's RPDE Day - Capt. Jacks Dinner (Anybody been here? Good?)

Doesn't Buzz (not my kid, the banned one?) love this? That's all I think I've heard about it, though V saying she'd been there for lunch rang a bell.

Best part - $5.

Woohoo!

BE SPECIFIC PARENTS! Because he's had this horrible rash all around his mouth for weeks and I only just found out that he's been drinking pink milk because I said no to chocolate.

He now knows WHITE milk is the only option and the rash is almost gone.

I'm sorry, I had to laugh. I know how that stuff goes.

And apparently 2 girls are getting fired if things work out with me. I feel kinda bad about that.

Hmm, I get you feeling bad, but I guess it depends on why they're getting fired. If they're not doing their jobs, well...

It's starting to sprinkle so I have no doubt in my mind tonight is going to be an ugly night. They were talking on the news last night about flooding. Our house is no where near an area that floods but I have a few friends who are.

::yes:: Our town floods a lot, and whilst we personally are no where near any flooding, I always feel bad for the others.

I would just like to say...you people are hilarious. That's all. ;)

Oh Carrie! I'm so happy to hear this news! Thank Goodness!

It was too cute to pass up. I saw it in the juniors dept. but it is a 2x so it fits! Best part - $5.:dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

Hi Kristel! Way Cute!

HI Kat! Glad your second day went well. You'll get the hang of it really quick! Enjoy your relaxing!

Thanks, and I agree. It was beautifully sunny and 53 for a while. It clouded up later, but it's not even supposed to be below freezing overnight! I'm so thrilled! (mind you, it's supposed to be a high of 32 on Friday. Spring is not here. )
Yep. Here too. Spring was just teasing...

Whew! I am wiped out! What a day! Made SD's cake, did dishes from that and set it to cool on the counter, got the hotel squared away, cleaned up the house quick and showered. Then I made a trip to Target, saw Bob for a minute at the office, grabbed lunch at McD's (bad bad bad) and then raced to the grocery store for ice cream and balloons.
Went home, put away stuff, frosted the cake, decorated for party, and then picked up SD.

We've had dinner, cake and ice cream and opened gifts. He loved his presents (a new Tmobile Sidekick, Itunes cards, chocolate and cash!) and now he's off to game for a while.

I am going to bed early! Tomorrow I am going to lie on the couch all day.

MEL:banana:

DIS is true. ::yes::

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Everyone say Thankyou Theresa !! My friend told me how to fix my keyboard !! So far it is working !!It's Now I am back to the normal amount of Typos. It's amazing what a little thumping and a paper clip can do !!!!:rotfl:
No time to really catch up sooooo What did I miss !!??????:confused3

Umm Kat darling... that is pretty much illegal. Workers must be paid. Most states require training to be paid. Once you answered a phone you were not training... you were working.

I was not privy to viewing these little buggers IRL last Dec., however a good friend as just returned from the world and has begun a collection. Anyone seen them? I guess they try to suck the money out of us any way they can!

============================================

Jimmy is in bed :cloud9: I am getting ready to watch Top Chef at 10pm, but other than that..nada!:thumbsup2

Dudes........
Part of my roof blew off!!! I'm not kidding. We've had high winds all day and around 4PM we had a major blow-up. I thought we were in the middle of a tornado. It was very scary. I started seeing tree branches blowing and heard this huge bang. The wind knocked down part of our fence, wiped out our antenna, and tore off a bunch of shingles. Then the power went off.

I called the insurance and got a claim in. They didn't know when the adjuster would be out. I hope quickly. The tar paper is still down. I'm hoping there will be no leaks.

Doug is staying home tomorrow to better assess the roof and fix the fence. I'll try to get pics. What a mess!

Mel - I'm glad you got your ressies made for the trip!!! CSR always looks like a nice place!! Tell SD - Happy Birthday!

TE - I hope they find out what is wrong with AB.

Slate - for DS.

Kat and Lori: :thumbsup2

I hope the rest of you are doing well.

I'll try to get back on here tomorrow. It might be late though!
