OMG!! :yay: My Mom just called. they have looked over her blood work. and found no evidence of Leukemia. they tried differant tests. and Marrow is fine and the bloodwork is great! she has to go back every 6 months. the Dr has seen this before. but not that often.

her first words were, "well all of your Friends prayers must`ve worked" and she wanted to make sure I thanked you all for your thoughts and prayers.

So...
Thank-you!! :grouphug: I`m so proud and happy to have friends like you girls! thank-you. :cloud9:

off to walmart before it gets too late. I did a great job with the house today! :goodvibes it looks nice...

:cool1: :cool1: Yeah! What great news! I know you must feel like a weight has been lifted! :goodvibes

OK here is another question for you all? How similar are the menu;s at Boma and Tusker House? We are definitely doing Boma, but I don't want to do both if they really similar

Slate---we've all been through the allergy tests too---Ab and I have 4+ to dust mites. We have no carpet in this house and no curtains in our rooms. Blinds are fine. No stuffed animals anywhere. Make sure you have a good mattress cover and pillow covers and that all bedding is easily machine washable.

Allergy shots have helped me a bunch---I'm down to once a month......after 5 years.........but I move a lot which messes everything up.

Why are you selling them. Are you scared to meet my dad or something:rolleyes1
Because we're going on a cruise for 10 days! ;) We'll be there Sunday, March 1, section 213, row C. Is that anywhere near your dad?

Ok! It's done!
:woohoo:

I have a DS9 update:
 Glad you figured out what was wrong.

I forgot to tell you all. Jimmy had to take a reading test yesterday. Spoke to his teacher this morning. Jimmy aced it and is reading above grade level. She also said he sat very still and was very focused (which was always his biggest issue)
Awesome Jimmy! :cool1:

they have looked over her blood work. and found no evidence of Leukemia.
:yay: That's fabulous news!

It is so nice out...60's and sunny. They had been predicting rain and high winds all day today but we've had nothing. I'm sure it'll come tonight though.

It's coming your way, Lori. It's been pouring all day here! I'm just glad it's not cold because if it were, we'd be looking at 20+ inches of snow!!! Glad it's just rain!

Capt. Jacks Dinner (Anybody been here? Good?)
We had lunch there and really enjoyed it! :thumbsup2

I didn't quote, but saw... Leo seems to be fine with some read, not with others. Pink milk is bad, bad, bad, but pink Laffy Taffy's fine. :confused3

I have a feeling alot of people are filing early this year!

That is adorable. I want one. UNfortunately I haven't fit in a junior size since I was 7:sad2:

Well, that's just confuzzling!

I'm sure the dentist appreciates Laffy Taffy too:rolleyes1

:faint: Jimmy would die if he couldn't have pink milk:eek:

Dawn? Where are you? I need you?

Richard Petty Question - Do I need to make a ressie or do you just show up the day you want to go?

I'm sure the dentist appreciates Laffy Taffy too:rolleyes1
:rotfl2:

I guess I never shared the pink milk story...

When Leo switched to his new school, where he has choices for lunch, I made it clear that he was NOT to be getting chocolate milk with lunch. What I meant was "drink white milk." BE SPECIFIC PARENTS! Because he's had this horrible rash all around his mouth for weeks and I only just found out that he's been drinking pink milk because I said no to chocolate. :headache:

He now knows WHITE milk is the only option and the rash is almost gone.

I will keep that in mind---she had a wheat allergy as a child (along with milk, soy, corn.....)
I have several patients on gluten free diets and it's really tough for them.

But I did hear back from the doctor.....her amylase was a little high (pancreas enzyme) and she has a "cacified" blockage in her intestine. :confused3 THe doctor said it could be a lump of undigested Tums as she has been taking a lot trying to get rid of the stomach pain. Anyway, she has to take Miralax and Zantac for 2 weeks and then get everything rechecked. She is also gonna schedule her with a GI doc.
I hope that will take care of everything, TE. :guilty:

I'm tired. Anyone else bored and tired? Sadly, I have a ton to do, I just don't want to do it.

**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**

Good evening chatty fockers!

I worked 9-12 at one store and had to take the train to the other from 2-4:30. I did stop for some grub and coffee first tho. The bad thing: It's unpaid training. SO all this effort and no reward. Meh.

I answered calls today tho and I was really super duper nervous about it before hand. I made myself so worked up about it and was fine when I actually got on the phone. It's a bit weird because I know I'm getting recorded tho, they record ALL the calls.

And apparently 2 girls are getting fired if things work out with me. I feel kinda bad about that. So i just have to decide if this is the right fit for me and then everything goes into the works, and I can get PAID!

Anyways off to watch some tv and relax.

I had to read this 3 times because I couldn't figure out why there would be a problem with "pint" milk. :rotfl2:

*****************************

Crazy busy day here. I've got to start dinner but hope to check in again tonight to sit and chat a while.
:goodvibes

That's great Lori. I would keep the appointment too, but then I am a better safe than sorry kind of person!

Yeah, I think I'm going to keep it as well. I was telling her father about it and he told me to cancel but I have a feeling it has more to do with him having to pay the OOP expense that insurance won't cover. There has to been have some reason her behavior was like that to begin with and I know the divorce has been rough on her even though she doesn't come right out and say it.

It's starting to sprinkle so I have no doubt in my mind tonight is going to be an ugly night. They were talking on the news last night about flooding. Our house is no where near an area that floods but I have a few friends who are.

Very cute! I was just at Walmart and got a really cute top to wear to Lindsey's Valentine's party at school...on sale too! :)

Glad you had a good work day Kat! I worked as a receptionist and hated it at first not knowing if I was sending the phone call to the right person or if I was going to lose their call. Ended up being a really great job though!
