I talked to my friend yesterday, and as we both had nothing planned (and my list is getting shorter!) we decided to do a little shopping today. Nothing major, but it's always just more fun with a friend, you know?

I love shopping!



I'm off to photography class. Today it's landscapes. Then to lunch with my sister. We're still trying to sell our spring training tickets. Has anyone used Stub Hub or something? Next year we'll get them in October since we're renewing so we can put them up earlier but this year it's last minute.

Ok, this is what happened last night. I checked airfare for Thur,Fri,Sat, Sun and booked Pop for those days. Then I decided that it was 1. Too many days, I'd like to just go for 3 and 2. At the end of the week and the potential of missing someone was too great.
So, I rechecked airfare, got a good flight and price for Wed,Thur,Fri and booked it. When I called to change Pop they said they don't have a SINGLE room at a value for the passholder rate ($69). She told me I can have a room at Pop for $145 for Wed and the $69 for Thurs. WHAT???!!!! Holy cow. NO Way.
Or, I could have CBR or CSR for $125 per night. I decided that I'll think on it for a day or so. I've never stayed at CBR or CSR.

The other options are this: Try to find someone to transfer me 11 points (hopefully at $8 a pt...) to make a DVC ressie because I'm out of points or hope that something opens at Pop. I'm keeping the original ressie for now. At least I still have Thur. locked in at $69.....

BUT, the airfare is booked and I'll work out something. I just don't want to spend tons of money on a hotel. So, don't worry Dawn! I'm coming whether I have a bed or not.

Well, Ab is home sick---took her to the doctors yesterday and we ended up at the hospital for abdominal xray and blood work. She's had abd pain for over a month and is actually losing weight---whenever a bite of food hits her stomach, she is cramping. (and of course she only weighs 118)
So we are waiting on the results this morning. Hopefully nothing serious.

I talked to my friend yesterday, and as we both had nothing planned (and my list is getting shorter!) we decided to do a little shopping today. Nothing major, but it's always just more fun with a friend, you know?

So, I need to shower and stuff. D is flying today overnight to tomorrow, but he's not leaving until 1:00 - which I didn't realize when I made plans, but oh well. I saw him a lot last week, it's just that we'll have Friday and then nothing again for a week. But, when he gets back on the 21st, he took vacation as the kids are out of school for that stupid February break, so I'll still be seeing plenty of him. We'll be fine missing a few hours today.

So, I'm going to grab some breakfast and a shower. I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Leo had a terrific riding lesson last night - he's off the lead and doing a great job handling his horse. Even got up to a trot a few times! I'm having a horrible time trying to load a video of the lesson to FB, though.

Im not a DR of course but my friends son had this same thing and they found out he had a WHEAT ALLERGY(Celiac's).
I will say a prayer all will work out ok.

We have the allergy results (remember he broke out in hives), he has no food allergies, but is a "4" for dust mites and a "2" for dogs, pecan trees, household molds, and Kentucky bluegrass. I guess those of you with allergy experience know what those numbers mean? Anyhow, he sleeps on a metal loft 6' in the air. We already use hepa filters. He did sleep on the floor with the dog 2 nights prior to the hives, so we are going to do this again to rule in/out.

He had a 1st visit with a psych Monday and she reduced his Vyvanse to 20mg, but does not feel he is depressed. However, she feels he does have some anxiety and he is going to start monthly sessions.

I have no idea what the numbers mean - never been tested, as mine have all been easy to see - but something to consider: I've had reactions to a whole host of meds. It's not always the active ingredient causing it, but the fillers they use to make the pill or liquid. They can be additives and/or colorings and/or flavorings. Leo can't take any kind of red liquid meds without breaking out in hives.

Well, I'm off to the Y after I pick up DD5 from preschool. Then I think I'm in for the evening. It's cold and rainy here, so I don't want to go anywhere.

I'm trying to work on my taxes this morning, but Turbo Tax isn't working with me. It takes about 10 minutes to load and then crashes! At this point, I'm running out of time before having to pick up the little one.
