Sorry,,,:p I just keep looking and looking at the picture and cant GET IT!! I`ve tried Kristals Photobucket Acct,,but its set to private. I tried entering in "clear hearts" on PB. nuttin.. (not really clear, but what else would I put in if I didnt know what it was in the first place?! :confused3

I have no idea what it is. What I know it's not: donkey lips.

:teeth:

Good night, girls.
I hope Krystel comes back and answers our questions about that freaky picture tomorrow!:rotfl:

Night, honey. Sleep well. pixiedust:

Tanya- I need help for a friend...

Here's the e-mail I got:
We are looking to go on a family vacation to the snow. Thinking either Colorado or New Mexico. Looking for a newer place to stay (not a dive) and want to pay no more than $200 a night. Do you any of you know of a place you have visited? We mainly want to sled. I will be stuck inside for much of it with Jack so I want it to be comfortable so that I am not wishing I was at home.

Any ideas? :confused3

Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey!

I'm up first again! Whoo Hoo!

It's -4.5 degrees out. You read that right. NEGATIVE 4.5. And we have school!!!!!! Seriously, I just don't get it. :sad2:

The furnace seems to be working ok, it's just not keeping the house CONSTANTLY at 70. It goes down to 67 then kicks on and heats up to 70. Then does it again....weird but livable. :confused3

Poor SD has to catch the bus in this awful weather. The bus driver has been late every day this week! Yesterday he was 20 minutes late. :sad2:

I have NO idea what Kristel's picture was either but I'm going with Carrie's groundhog in utero. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Carrie: :hug: for your mom, hope she knows more soon....

Ok, gotta go get the boy on the bus. Back later!

MEL:banana:

Hey, I'm first and second!!!

Gus is home sick. He got up and is feverish, has a headache and a really stuffy nose. Poor guy.

Gotta make some herbal tea and toast for him.

MEL:banana:

I'm here, Mel.

G'morning. Couldn't sleep. :sad2:

I'm off to get ready for work.

:hug: and :wave: to all Fockers.

Heard back from the vet a little while ago - the rest of the tests confirm its hyperthyroidism,

:grouphug: My friend gives her cat pills, I think twice a day, and he seems to be doing fine.

Evening all! Home from Jimmy's doctor appointment.
Great news Janet. :cool1:

When someone new says hello here, we always welcome them and don't treat them rudely. I'll just stay here in my happy place from now on. :goodvibes
:grouphug:

Well looks like that 4/7 deal boots my brother to his own accomdations and I gain Waldo and TE and about 80 something DVC points back. :cool1:
Whoohooty! :cheer2:

I'm not sure where this will put my career - as I had hoped to get back into the work force this fall. But I guess things happen for a reason and I'm taking it all in with a little help from my friends. :goodvibes
Looks like more Disney for you & Evan. ;)

My dad took her in for me because I just couldn't do it and it was like dath walked in the door when he came to get her. :(
:grouphug: We took a stray cat to the vet and I couldn't be in the room when he put her to sleep.

I keep calling my Mom..she hasnt heard from the Dr about what type of Leukemia it is yet. they told her 7-10 days. its about 10 days now. someone told her it could take 6 weeks before she knows for sure. :sad2:
:grouphug: to you and Mom.

Gus is home sick. He got up and is feverish, has a headache and a really stuffy nose. Poor guy.
I hope he feels better and stay warm! :thumbsup2

It's 31 here! :faint: OK, not as cold as some of you but I don't like it. Thankfully I have nothing to do today except laundry. Not that exciting, but I don't have to look good doing it. Although I will have earrings on. :rotfl:

YOu never cleaned off your car:scared:
Errr nope :rotfl2: It came off fine!

O.K... since this thread has such a great Title.. lets explore the mystery of how big is too big...
OMG I watched a show about her last night, others too, she has some serious problems poor girl, she thinks it's the only way to make herself beautiful :sad2:

I'm crabby. I posted on the Biggest Loser thread for the first time the other day and this chick was snippy with me for posting in my color
I always post in. :snooty:
:hug:

Are we talking about Jo???
Hey :rotfl2:

Evening all! Home from Jimmy's doctor appointment. It went pretty well. BAsed on some thing we said, some observations from Jimmy's teacehr and some observations of her own we have added Stratera (10mg) to Jimmy's Concerta. It supposed to help him stay focused a bit better and to also increase his appetite a bit! All in all she was very happy with his progress and so are we:thumbsup2
Good luck :hug:

So, my drama has settled a bit - basically we've been evaluating Evan for Kinder and whilst his teachers say he's ready academically, they don't believe he's ready on a maturity level. We've decided to keep him in Pre-K one more year to give him a chance to really fine tune his skills and mature a bit. It's really hard, but he is not only my baby, but the entire baby of the family, on both sides and is treated as such. :guilty:
You've got to what's best for him, over here it's not an option to hold them back and they start proper school aged 4!

The ex gets to listen to 'Womanizer' when he calls. :rotfl:
Hilarious :rotfl:

I keep calling my Mom..she hasnt heard from the Dr about what type of Leukemia it is yet. they told her 7-10 days. its about 10 days now. someone told her it could take 6 weeks before she knows for sure. :sad2:
Hope she has good news soon :hug:

Gus is home sick. He got up and is feverish, has a headache and a really stuffy nose. Poor guy.
:hug:

I can't make out what's in the hearts either :rotfl2:

It's raining here now and washing all the snow away, the forecast says more snow tomorrow though :eek: I have 4 games of golf next week, 3 are competitions, so it's got to all clear up :rotfl2:

I just wanted to say that I don't venture off the TFW board almost ever. And now I know why... :sad2:

!

That happened to me once.. I should have reported the people to the Mods( but the Mod would have probably just cited me for my siggie again) I absolutely got pounded by all sides.. all because I made a comment about Disney and all the "Freebee's" they get( like Free Coke for machines.... and such as that) and how much they charge us for drinks and the Collectable cups... you would have thought I just killed one of their kids.

This is the ONLY SAFE PLACE...

BTW.. I would have just told them to change the color of their background.. I had to do that because I could not read Kat's because she was writing in purple.

T, we held Gus because he just wasn't ready maturity wise. He's the oldest kid in 5th grade now but he's never suffered for our decision. I'm glad we did it.
I have only good wishes for you guys! :hug:

MEL:banana:

I almost did that with Sarabeth she is the Baby in 5th grade and just missed the cutoff by 1 week.

Valentine-1.jpg

fish with red ribbons for fishing line? :scratchin

That's what I thought at first too.... :lmao:

I keep calling my Mom..she hasnt heard from the Dr about what type of Leukemia it is yet.

I had been wondering where the news was.. :hug:

All you Crockpot fans out there...Janet,CE...I`m really like this one. the link is from Amazon. but Walmart has it for 10 cheaper..
I like that it has 3 bowls!! what do you think? and what does everyone else have? my Crockpot was a weeding present..20 years! but its still working fine....but still,,,,
http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beac...?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1233806431&sr=1-25

I want that one too... but My Wedding present Crock pot is still working after 22 years :rotfl2:

fish with red ribbons for fishing line? :scratchin

It's -4.5 degrees out. You read that right. NEGATIVE 4.5. And we have school!!!!!! Seriously, I just don't get it. :sad2:

Brrr.. I do not miss those temps. We would get them a lot in Ky.

Gus is home sick. He got up and is feverish, has a headache and a really stuffy nose. Poor guy.

MEL:banana:

:flower3: Poor Gus and Momma... :hug:

I'm here, Mel.

G'morning. Couldn't sleep. :sad2:
I hate not sleeping

It's 31 here! :faint: OK, not as cold as some of you but I don't like it. Thankfully I have nothing to do today except laundry. Not that exciting, but I don't have to look good doing it. Although I will have earrings on. :rotfl:

That is cold for you Little Delicate Oranges..:rolleyes:

It's 14 here ( plus a bad wind chill) and I HAVE to go to Wal-Mart I have put it off to long.
Can't wait till tomorrow. I am out of too much stuff

However it is supposed to be 60 here this weekend :hyper: :hyper:

Morning :goodvibes

It's a chilly 19 degrees here in sunny South Carolina...but like Katt, we'll be up to 67 by Saturday :beach:

Dawn...sometimes I venture out onto the CB and am shocked at how ugly it is out there.

Mel...hope Gus gets feeling better soon.

Kristel...my kids think Rudolf is stuck in the heart. :rotfl2:

Hey to everyone else....:wave2:

Number three is having a major melt down because he wrote the letter J backwards....got to go......

Glad the snow is melting for you Jo!

Carrie- Great to hear that the spirits are UP! :) The positive energy is being sent your way!

Mel- Poor Gus! Sorry about pushing the cold your way! :) It was negatives earlier this week ~rumor has it ~ it will be up to 30 today!!! :cool1:

Speaking of the Biggest Looser... On of our schools was on it the other night. All of the teachers are super excited for their 30 seconds of fame. :thumbsup2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning Everyone!
DH brought ds to spanish this AM, so that saved me a special early trip.:thumbsup2 I am just about to jump into the shower and then get Tink to Pre School. After that I volunteer in ds's class, then back to get Tink and bring her to a playdate, then back to school to teach that art class. Yikes! I forgot to review my notes! I will have to do that at some point before the class. :guilty: Tonight ds has a Imagination Fair, which last year he won (as a Kindergartner~ 3r place in the entire school for writing and English Lit. This year he choose to stay in that category and wrote a small book about Barrack Obama, the election and how he feels about it. We will see what the kids come up with in that category. I think for a 1st grader he did a fabulous job. That is all that counts! ::yes:: Last up for the day is a meeting to start planning our big Kids Sale (like garage sale of kids things).
I'll try to say HI Later!
Morning! :wave: Good times around here... since yesterday morning the temp dropped to the low 30s, we heard that our budjet will likely be slashed 20-30%, unemployment is the highest in years, and the strawberry crop is once again in danger. :headache:
Awwww...thanks for the birthday wishes...I'm new here so I know no one knows when my birthday is, well, was. LOL
Sorry I missed it - Happy Belated Bday!!!
Yippee! I am bummed that Angela is gone when I am there. :sad1: I do think V should drive up and join us. ;)
Wish I could! :guilty:
Well looks like that 4/7 deal boots my brother to his own accomdations and I gain Waldo and TE and about 80 something DVC points back. :cool1:
Woo hoo!!!
T, I learned something last night: turns out Gramma held me back. The cut-off back then was January, so I'd either have been the oldest or youngest. She went for oldest, holding me in Pre-K an extra year. FWIW, I loved being among the oldest and always felt more mature than most of my classmates. :thumbsup2
I keep calling my Mom..she hasnt heard from the Dr about what type of Leukemia it is yet.
:hug:
Number three is having a major melt down because he wrote the letter J backwards....got to go......
And I'm reminded once again how much alike they are... Leo had a total meltdown last night because he struggled to read a new word. :headache: Send #3 a hug from me!
Good morning. My head hurts and I'm tired. Aiden woke me up at 2 with side pain. I think I fell asleep finally with him about 3:30. :rolleyes2 I had only gone to bed at 12:30, so that wasn't good sleep for me. I don't do well without good, solid sleep. :bitelip:
Anyway, we have school like usual today. Baylie has a dress rehersal tonight for their first competition this weekend. When she got her hair cut a few weeks ago, it was trimmed to get those last uneven layers fixed and it made her hair too short to put up. Now we're struggling to get it up, much less in a low, side messy bun. :faint: Stupid hair.
Mel- Poor Gus! I hope he feels better soon. :guilty:
I found a good site on-line that has a reading program that's free that I think Aiden will do great with. My friend also let me borrow her Hooked on Phonics, so that's free too. It's so frustrating to invest in something and find it's not a good fit for your child. :sad2:
"Hooked on Phonics worked for me!"
:lmao:
My washing machine is in the garage and it's so cold that the detergent has turned to sludge. :rolleyes:
I just wanted to say that I don't venture off the TFW board almost ever. And now I know why...
When someone new says hello here, we always welcome them and don't treat them rudely. I'll just stay here in my happy place from now on.
I'm thankful for my Fockers!
The sommuniyt Board is skeery! I only venture there when Jen or Slate point me in the direction of a good thread
Well looks like that 4/7 deal boots my brother to his own accomdations and I gain Waldo and TE and about 80 something DVC points back.
:cheer2: :cheer2:
So, Janet are you looking to be there around the 1st -ish??
:sad2: If I can book the way I want We will be at Universal 11th to the 14th then WDW the 15th to the 22nd!
So, my drama has settled a bit - basically we've been evaluating Evan for Kinder and whilst his teachers say he's ready academically, they don't believe he's ready on a maturity level. We've decided to keep him in Pre-K one more year to give him a chance to really fine tune his skills and mature a bit. It's really hard, but he is not only my baby, but the entire baby of the family, on both sides and is treated as such.
I'm not sure where this will put my career - as I had hoped to get back into the work force this fall. But I guess things happen for a reason and I'm taking it all in with a little help from my friends.
Been there done that sweetie The cut off here is September 1st and Jimmy's birthday is Sept 1st. That is why he was in PreK at the beginning of this year. We moved him to K becasue the public school doesn't offer PreK. In his case he is doing great but you have to do what you think is best for Evan
As someone who has knowledge of how a large upstairs feels - she is nuts! Her back can not feel good. Unless all she does is lay on it. (I'm not making any suggestions here.):
My thoughts exactly Kristel!:thumbsup2
Yay for Jimmy. I hope the meds help. Good luck on the 4/3 deal!
Thanks Kristel :goodvibes
Glad the appointment went well Janet and that Jimmy is so well!
Thanks Lori!
I keep calling my Mom..she hasnt heard from the Dr about what type of Leukemia it is yet. they told her 7-10 days. its about 10 days now. someone told her it could take 6 weeks before she knows for sure.
She told me yesterday,,that "as long as I havent heard anything, nothing is wrong with me..it was just a big dream. and the big bruises on my arms from them taking blood are not there at all!" it was funny how she said it..her spirits are way up.(so it seems anyway) My birthmom. offered to take the kids anytime I needed her or my sisters, in order to go up and spend time with my Mom. I wont take her up on it, because of everything Elizabeth has been going through..plus my Dad and his wife live up there also.
Sounds like she is in good spirits and no matter what that will help:thumbsup2 :goodvibes :grouphug:
anywhooo...All you Crockpot fans out there...Janet,CE...I`m really like this one. the link is from Amazon. but Walmart has it for 10 cheaper..
http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beac...?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1233806431&sr=1-25
That looks so cool...I want one now;)
:lmao:
It's -4.5 degrees out. You read that right. NEGATIVE 4.5. And we have school!!!!!! Seriously, I just don't get it.
At least we are in the positive. 1, but positive!
Gus is home sick. He got up and is feverish, has a headache and a really stuffy nose. Poor guy.
Hope he feels better :hug:
Great news Janet.
Thanks Angela!:goodvibes
It's 31 here! OK, not as cold as some of you but I don't like it. Thankfully I have nothing to do today except laundry. Not that exciting, but I don't have to look good doing it. Although I will have earrings on.
I am going to call and check on mom and dad later, not that I can do much from here. I didn't realize it was getting that cold!
Errr nope :rotfl2: It came off fine!
Good!:thumbsup2
You've got to what's best for him, over here it's not an option to hold them back and they start proper school aged 4!
Really??? Here they don't have to legally start until they are 8. In Pennsylvania, Kindergarten in NOT a requirement.
I have 4 games of golf next week, 3 are competitions, so it's got to all clear up
:lmao:
Dawn...sometimes I venture out onto the CB and am shocked at how ugly it is out there.
::yes::
Number three is having a major melt down because he wrote the letter J backwards....got to go......
How old is he? Jimmy get frustrated when we makes a mistake too, but he get more frustrated becasue if he erased he does it too hard and the paper rips:sad2:
DH brought ds to spanish this AM, so that saved me a special early trip I am just about to jump into the shower and then get Tink to Pre School. After that I volunteer in ds's class, then back to get Tink and bring her to a playdate, then back to school to teach that art class. Yikes! I forgot to review my notes! :faint: Hope you get a break in there somewhere Jen. Don't get yourself rundown:grouphug:
Morning! :wave: Good times around here... since yesterday morning the temp dropped to the low 30s, we heard that our budjet will likely be slashed 20-30%, unemployment is the highest in years, and the strawberry crop is once again in danger.
They are talking budget cuts here too V. We had to give the mayor 3 different budgets 10, 20 and 30%. If there are layoffs, I have enough seniority that it won't be an issue. One of the things they are talking about is shutting down one day a week, which means I would go from a 10 day paycheck to an 8 day paycheck:scared: On the flip side I could save that days after school care
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good morning all. ROugh start to the morning here. Took Jimmy to the after school place becasue he was off today, where he promptly started with the I want to go home:sad2: . 20 minutes later I finally had him calmed down enough to be able to leave.
Driving in I had a ton of traffic to contend. A police officer was killed last week when he was hit by a car during a traffic stop and his funeral was at the Cathedral today, which I pass everyday coming to work.
Finally the city is an uproar because there is an escaped suspect loose somewhere between here and Annapolis. Get this...A private company (Like a bounty hunter...corrections) found this suspect (for Atttempted Murder) in Ft. Lauderdale. They were transporting him and 2 other prisoners back (in a van). They stopped in Annapolis and this was the last time anyone remembers seeing this guy. Mind you, nobody noticed it until they got here in Philly. Gotta love it:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
HAve a good day everyone:goodvibes
update anyone??? i can't possibly go back and catch up!!! haven't had much time to get online.... busy unpacking and organizing in between work days! can't wait to get into a routine. my diet has been crap lately. i'm taking a couple weeks off. i don't even want to know at this point. hopefully after next week, i'll be able to start exercising and eating right. our kitchen isn't fully unpacked yet, so we've been eating out a lot. i will get back on track eventually!
hope everyone has been well! :grouphug:
Morning,,just popping in to see if anyone figured out Kristels heart pics. :rolleyes:
I have to go drop off spelling to one kid. and lunch money at the HS for another. then home laundry and dishes, I think I`ll pick up some chicken and stuff for CEs crock pot recipe. :goodvibes
We`re on the community board Janet!! :lmao:
Mel...hope Gus is feeling better..:hug:
off to warm up the Jeep....
nd this was the last time anyone remembers seeing this guy. Mind you, nobody noticed it until they got here in Philly. Gotta love it:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
huh? how could they not notice that they were alone in hte van for 2 hours!! :confused3 did they not look in the back!!!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Okay lady. I don't see donkey anything. But, you have succeeded in seriously cracking me up.
:rotfl: Glad I was able to make ya laugh.
I keep calling my Mom..she hasnt heard from the Dr about what type of Leukemia it is yet. they told her 7-10 days. its about 10 days now. someone told her it could take 6 weeks before she knows for sure. :sad2:
