Yeah, if we miss the bus at 7:40, I'd normally have to wait to take them because it's an under 10 minute drive - not today, obviously - but they don't open until 8:15. We're among the first of the stops and the kids usually have a "recess" before the bell rings for the 8:30 start. It was just nutty.

That is strange. Our bus sometimes arrives early to school and the driver lets the kids tell jokes over the microphone. DD7 loves it!

Does anyone else shop at Justice for their girls? They have the CUTEST swim suits this year!!! OMGosh! I love the tankinis- one is black, hot pink and white with polka dots and tiny peace signs (the last one in the picture). The other is black and white zebra print with hot pink ruffles (the first one). I must have these for Camryn! Because they are the same colors, we can get flip flops and sunglasses that match.

I think I'm ready for summer...

Ooh!! Limited Too is Maddie's store. She loves it! Thanks GOD for outlets, that's all I have to say! But we did see those suits last week. I got a great coupon, too. $15 off if you spend $50. Easy peasy!

We are getting one in the next couple of days. Limited Too and them merged. So our's is changing over. I've heard the clothes are cheaper but I don't know anything else. I'm guessing it's much like Limited Too .

Really? I didn't know that! We have a big outlet mall 15 minutes away and they have a store there. I thought it was all the rejected stuff.

Also- if you go and check out the clearance, they have great deals. I got a few shirts there last year for $5 each.
Now that I think about it, Baylie hasn't worn them yet this winter.

Hi y'all!

Looks like flaky internet connection has resolved itself. It's been stable for 30 minutes straight now, making it twice the prior record on the day.

I'll be quarantined at home again tomorrow. DS6 had a fever at 2PM, and our school's got a 24-hour fever-free rule. So, even if he seems perfectly fine and no fever tomorrow, I'm still going to have to keep him home. Although if he has no fever, maybe I'll just take him with me to the office. I can set him up on the Wii, and he'll be happy as a clam.

Don't have time to go back and quote all the way at the moment, but:

Jen- Good going on standing up for your DS! There's no excuse for that kind of behavior. We've had some bullying issues with DD11. Thankfully, she's been able to stand up for herself and get appropriate authority folks at school involved.

V- A new PTR up and going. I jumped on board for the ride.

Kat- Thanks for the well wishes for DS6, and my network connection, over on FB.

It's going to take me forever to dig my way through the FB request backlog. Y'all know to whom this comment is directed; fair warning to look to your own request boxes. (Okay, something is just plain wrong with a sentence that uses both "y'all" and "to whom".) Curious, can the number of requests indicated go over 100? I've got more in there, but it's only indicating 100.

CE, Jodi- Hope the headaches, both literal and otherwise, from this morning cleared!

That's about all my memory can call up at the moment. Jenny should be here in a few minutes, so it's time for me to head down to forage through the pantry for dinner items.

Dawn - Love the swimsuits! Lindsey was here looking over my shoulder and saw the sebra print one and went nutso over it. I guess we'll be making our way to Justice sometime soon.

I am so mad! The school called a little bit ago and both kids are off again for tomorrow! This now makes 4 days in a row!

Last night they called and said we would be on a 2 hour delay but then called and cacelled before I headed to bed. I have no idea why though. The kids and I were out on the roads today and they were slushy but nothing major was wrong with them. I even passed by the school and all roads leading to them and in front of them were fine. And no power outages are around.

So, watched The Weather Channel earlier and have the news on now and we are to get some snow overnight but nothing major. And what do we get...no 2 hour delay but we are cancelled.

I think I'm slowly being driven crazy here!
