Do we need to send Jen up there;)

Jimmy is in bed with the threat of no McD's or Blockbuster after school tomorrow if he gets out of bed for anything other than to go to the bathroom:rolleyes:

Going to play a game of Yahtzee and then head to bed. Have a good night all!
You might. I am going to demand a second opinion tomorrow. If they give me any grief I will send for Jen.

Have a good night. I told Bug in bed or no tv tomorrow. It worked he was out cold by 8:30 after a few minutes of pitiful cries for me. I stayed tough though.

Thanks Janet. Truth be told, I don't even know who is IN the Super Bowl. :blush:
Me either, but that won't stop me from going to the party.

:rotfl2: Home and a trying to unwind from what has been an absolutely horrid day !!:scared: My Boss and I were both ready to quit today ! :guilty: I had a consumer move out this week and Maintenance screwed up the move sooooo bad , his bed and matress has been in and out like 4 times then they bring in a new mattress and it doesn't fit the bed :sad2: and the other house he moved too keeps calling with DUMB questions and claiming not to have things we sent them and for some reason they are trying to blame me and my Boss ..:sad: oh I could go on and on and then my computor at work had a major problem and the lady in charge of tech came over and "fixed "it she was very nice but she has done things to my computor that I may never find stuff need . :confused3 Clincher was when I discovered the financial page she fixed has now lost the ability to subtract accurately FUN !!! :rotfl2: Whew I feel better! Now tomorrow we get a new consumer who they tel us makes Attilla the Hun look likean angel!!:scared: :scared: :scared:
Sorry about the bad day. Hope tomorrow is better.

Thanks, all! I'm glad I noticed. :)

I just had a nice bath with a book, and I think I'll go to bed early. Have a great night, everyone! :grouphug:

Just wanted to pop in and say g'night.

I read and caught up. Just didn't feel much like postin'. I was networkin' elsewhere. ;)

Today was a hell of a day. Now that I've had time to decompress...it was still a hell of a day.

Who's got the hard liquor?

O.k. this is going to be kind of long and hope it makes sense when all done.

My grandma passed away in 2002. Her fourth husband had passed on a few years before. He had two daughter that never married, didn't really care for each other, and were kinda eccentric. The one daughter has a few friends and has had good jobs. The other daughter has no friends, an ok job and still lives in the house she grew up in. It was given to her by my grandma when her dad passed on.

My mom called about a week ago and asked if I had any information on family for daughter that lived in family home. She had died in the house and had been there for about 2 weeks before the body was found. This is sad that no one realized she was not around. This means no one in two weeks really tried to get a hold of her for anything. That had to be a sad and lonely life. This is my worst fear. I have few friends that I do things with on a regular basis and would hate to die and no on notice.

The sister could not be found. No other close family. The sister was finally found vacationing in Hawaii. She told the authorities that she would take care of it when she was done with her vacation. This is just the saddest thing I have ever heard. It is not like this is some distant relative, this is her one and only sister. I don't think she will even have a funeral for her. I told my mom to let me know if there is one. I was never close to her but she was nice to me and my daughter years back. No one should have to leave this earth this way.

(I'm a Green Bay fan, myself, but I'm raising these kids in the Northeast, what can I say?)

What...you wouldn't put them in Green Bay stuff living in Pats territory? LOL That was the best part when we lived in TX. Dressing my kids up in their Steelers stuff and heading to the grocery store.

But awesome on the deals you got!

Oh, my gosh, Lori, I'm so sorry. What a pain...

Hi, Mr. T! Glad the internet's back up for you!

Thanks CE! :goodvibes

That is annoying!

You don't have to tell me twice!

Jimmy was cutting up strawberries when I got home. 1 in the bowl, 2 in his mouth:rotfl:

:rotfl: Cute!

Sorry, Lori. That really stinks. We just got the call for a 2 hour delay again tomorrow. That's what we had today. I'm not sure why though, since all the roads are plowed. They're still a bit snow-covered, but not bad at all. Oh well, DD4's preschool will start on time even with a 2 hour regular school delay, so I'll have just DD7 from 9am - 10:30am. Not a big deal.

That's how it normally is for my DS and his preschool when they have 2 hour delays. He still has a normal day so it does make it nice. Its a daycare/preschool and when the state has us on a Level 2 or above they close down...daycare and preschool. I'm just lucky I'm not working right now because I would be screwed if I had to use them for both.

Back to the doctor for Nana's one week follow up. Her knee is getting worse and if a going to demand a referal for a second opinion. This is just nuts. I will stop in and let you all know how it goes.

OUCH! :hug: Hope you can get things resolved and getting her knee feeling better!

Did I tell you Waldo yakked my ear off about spending money during these hard economic time and that I should be putting money away (which I do) and that I shouldn't buy frivilous stuff (since when are clothes and shoes frivilous??). Welllllll.... a package came in the mail today... and who do you think this package was for?? Uh huh... for Waldo... from a train place ... talk about frivilous. :rolleyes: You can bet I yakked his ear off about it. :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Home and a trying to unwind from what has been an absolutely horrid day !!:scared:

:hug: Rosie. Sorry you had such a bad day. Here's to hoping tomorrow is better. :goodvibes

Good thing that works for you. I just told DD the same thing and it still didn't stop her. UGH!

IT'S MY 5,000th POST!!!!!!!

Thanks for being there for me, gang. :grouphug:

:cheer2: :cheer2: YAY CE!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

That is so sad. :guilty:

So I was here in the computer room earlier and I could hear the cat meowing. I'm thinking great what is Lindsey doing to her now but it wasn't her normal Lindsey is tourting me meow.

So I go out into the kitchen and see her sitting under one of our kitchen chairs with this lump. Oh snap...she actually caught a mouse in her old age!

I do not do dead creatures so I waited for my dad to come home to take care of the problem. The kids didn't go near it and wanted nothing to do with although they thought it was pretty funny. Lindsey kind of laughed and was like, 'Remember on Jon & Kate this week and how they saw a dead mouse in their barn.' Yeah...real amusing Linds. :rolleyes:

But not 20 minutes later DR comes to me and is like 'Mommy there are 2 mouses!' (Yes I know it is to be mice but he doesn't LOL). I go in the kitchen and look...sure enough...2 dead mice! :scared: :faint:

We just needed one more so we could go around singing Three Blind Mice. :rotfl:

Anyways, here's a pic of my little mouser looking over her pray...

One's by the chair leg and dish detergent bottle and of course you can see the other one.

Sooooooo gross!

Ok... ummm... EEEEWWWWWWW!! I don't do mice (Mickey doesn't count ;) ) and I especially don't do dead mice. :crazy2:
Dude, cover the dead, please! :rotfl2:

vision dreams of passion blowin through my mind.....

the money gets divided, the women get excited, now I'm broke and it's no joke, it's hard as h*ll to fight it! DON'T BUY IT!

:rotfl2:

Thanks Salty, I'll be singing that all night now. :rolleyes:

:grouphug:
Howdy!
It's busy at work tonight. I have to make this a short one.

Ok so we have some sickies still, :hug: some bullies and educated Rednecks (Tig), migraines, job hassels, school hassels, a bad Waldo and some one who lives way too close to WDW for her own good. ;) Oh and an excellent mouser, forgive the kitty Mickey. Did I get it all?

BTW Kat, I posted the 4/3 deal for you on page 99. I didn't think you went back that far today.

Lori - That is very sad. I had an uncle that was in his house for 5 days before his body was discovered. However, he was very anti-social. A neighbor saw the mail hanging out the box. We always tried to include him in stuff but he never was interested. So sad, but what can you do?

I was thinking the other day that I need to make sure Doug knows how to find you guys if something should happen to me. I'll do that this next 3 days off. I don't want Janet to put out an APB if I go missing for a while with no explanation.

I'll try to pop on here tomorrow. Have a great day, Fockers!!

Gracias. When I mentioned the D word to KC he rolled his eyes heavily and said "I don't wanna spend the $$ this year". I think he just wants the darn tv more than a vacation....but thats just me.

~~~~~
I'm so bored tonight, I have been playing silly games but I'm really not into it...I think i'm gonna read some.
Whats everyone reading nowadays anyway? I just got a gift card from my grandparents for Barnes & Noble!
I must be on England time..:guilty: I woke up at 2:00 am and could NOT go back to sleep. I would have done some more housework but I would have woken people up.
IT IS GOING TO BE A LONG LONG DAY.. I have been having trouble sleeping again... but this is the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER. I really was looking forward to getting all those projects I've been putting off done today and tomorrow since I will be minus Scott and Sarabeth.
(They are going back to See my FIL and get the taxes finished. FIL is a former IRS Agent and he makes sure that we have all our ducks in a row and know for sure how much more we still owe. )
Anyway with them out of the house I was not going to have to stop to cook. I can skip it or grab a quick sandwich or soup. Joshua is happy with Hot dogs and maybe I'll order a pizza for supper. Now I'm going to be exhausted by 10:00
Really? Somehow I don't see you as the Grandmaster Flash type. :confused3
I still have my Grandmaster Flash vinyl...right next to SugarHill Gang :thumbsup2
This is very sad. My mom is a hospice volunteer and I'm always amazed by the number of people who leave loved ones alone to die...well, to die with a stranger there to hold their hand :sad1:
Can you catch a nap at some point? Take it slow, Katt. The projects will be there, you need a break.
Good Friday morning :goodvibes
The sun still isn't out and I'm starting to get twitchy. :crazy:
Good morning, peeps! TGIF, right? :rolleyes:
It's a normal Friday for us- PE, lunch with friends, volleyball, pizza for dinner. I have a bunch of books to deliver to other people while I'm at those things today. I'm hoping to make enough for us to buy our Schlitterbahn passes tomorrow. They are discounted through the end of the month. :thumbsup2
We have plenty to do this weekend. Saturday we're supposed to go to my MIL's for games and dinner. Then Sunday I'm taking Camryn to her first musical.:cheer2:
I'm excited. :hyper:
