I call it bad. We have already had 6 snow days this year - 4 were because of that horrible ice storm and didn't reflect actual snow, but still... We are now having school on President's Day and they changed a half-day to a full day in March, because with our current 6, we're already off the scheduled "chart" for snow days - and last year we had snow days in March. We've got a long way to go with winter.
Of course, I rant about this every 3 weeks or so, (and I'm so sorry) but I hate the schedule in the Northeast, anyway - we get a week off in Feb. AND a week in April, then don't get out until Father's Day (scheduled) and last year it was 6/24, going back to school 8/27. How is that summer? I would rather do a year-round schedule than think of a "normal" summer that turns out to only last 8 weeks, you know? You're a midwesterner, you know what I mean.

Summer should be all of June, July, and most of August.
