It would be so great to be done teaching at 11 M/W, then have a few hours to get groceries and run errands. It really seems like the best of both worlds. Less stress, but still lots of time with them to be involved int heir education. Why do I feel so bummed, then?

Well, for starters, I could never do it, so the fact that you have is amazing. Secondly, I don't like to hear you say things like "giving up" as it has nothing to do with what you CAN do and much more to do with what's good for the kids. I'm sure it's a hard choice, but you'll do what's right.

Lucky here! :lmao: I'm off to a Girl Scout Cookie Kick-off today. Oh joy. I'll try to check in later or tonight too see who's around. :teeth:

Have a good day! No hangovers! ;)

Have fun! D just ordered us some yesterday at work. :thumbsup2

IT's not quitting missy...it's doing what is best for your kids!:thumbsup2 :grouphug:

Looky there, great minds... ;)

All I can add is that drinking and calculus don't mix 'cause you shouldn't drink and derive. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

How very punny!

Oops, didn't quote, but Lessa, have fun!

Off to b-ball, back later! :wave2:

That seems pretty reasonable - private school around here run $4K-$5K, but I don't know if that yearly or for a semester - my neighbor sends her kids.

Would she have the option for languages, etc.?
That is reasonable, the private catholic school here is 8K a year, and the reg. private school is 10K.

Little Miss Sunshine was good. I've seen it before. I think I would have had more fun dissing, though. Sounds like ya'll had a lot of fun.
Loved that movie!

It's hard to make those decisions, Dawn. I know you'll decide the right thing!

Good Morning Fockers! :goodvibes

Morning T! Have a great day!

Yep. I'm too busy making quilts to care for my own chil'in. :rotfl2:
OMGosh! Yeah, and not to mention all the time you're spending brushing out and putting your LONG hair in a bun. That takes HOURS. ;)

Back from lessons. It is helacious outside. Snow blowing sideways, cold and miserable! I stopped at the grocery on the way home just so I don't have to leave the house again for at least 3 days! Blech!

There's plenty to do around here though. I have some laundry to fold and a ton of magazines to catch up on.

Sounds like everyone is having a good day so far. I'm also finalizing a few loose Disney ends. Had to find out about transportation to the golf course from the park or hotel. Turns out you get a voucher from Bell Services at your hotel for the cab (includes tip) and they bring you to the course. Nice, huh??? I'm really learning alot this trip!

Oh, and no ADRs for Trex. It's walk-up only. :scratchin

MEL:smokin: (what the heck?)

Oh Meeeeel. You can now make ADR's for T-Rex. You call them directly. :teeth:

Let the spending for August begin:hyper: I just ordered a Universal Guidebook (recommended by someone over on the Universal Boards) and the newest 1-95 Exit Guide.

What else can I buy;)

I'm guessing if it is like Raglan Road it is probably 90 days.

I just did 2 draft itineraries. One that included 2 nights at Universal and 8 nights at Pop Century. The other is 3 nights at Universal and 7 nights at Disney. This is the one I am leaning towards:confused3 If we do 3 nights at Universal Jimmy eats free the entire time we are there, and it gives us more time to explore the area. I was at Universal back in 02 but we didn't stay there and just hit the parks, didn't check out CIty Walk or anything like that.!

Dawn - Richard Petty Question. I got Jim the Ride Along for CHristmas (did I tell yo that?:confused3 ) do we need to call and make a ressie for him or do you just show up?

I am planning this for our break, no park day so i wanted to know if I needed to reservehim a space? Do you know what the earliest time is?

We are going to Stay at the Loew's Royal Pacific.

I know I told you, but my sister helped open RPR and it's beautiful! You'll absolutely love it. ::yes::

Oh, that's what I want to get Mitch for his b'day in April. I'm thinking about the driving one. I have info, I'll email you! :goodvibes

I feel like if I do full classes, I'm quitting as a homeschool teacher. I know I'd still teach them and help them with their "homework" on T/Th, but it feels like I'm giving up. With B, I feel like it's the best thing for her at the stage she's at. With A, I could use the break and he could use the structure and discipline of someone else teaching him. So, I don't know...
Dawn you've been given great advice you need to go with what is best for the whole family and what you're happy with

I have a great drawing on my fridge of me and one of the after school kids. She even drew me thiner than I am :rotfl2:. .
And that's always good :rotfl2:

Yeah, hopefully I won't end up spending too much money! :rotfl: We are only going to Watertown though which has a pretty small mall so not too much danger. If I was going to Syracuse then that would be a whole other matter. :lmao:
Have fun Lessa and tell us what you get :thumbsup2

I could have told you that :rotfl: David did it August 07, very easy you just get bell services to call a cab :thumbsup2 Are they playing oak trail? If so let us know what it's like as you now get it free with some park tickets :thumbsup2

Ugg! The website for the I-95 book is so out dated. They list things at exits in NC that haven't existed for 10 years or more.

We have reached a new level of cold. DS9 said it is so cold his eyeballs are going to freeze. :crazy2:

PSA: I'm sure everyone has heard that Circuit City is calling it quits. Has anyone hit their sale?

It looks so nice, that's why we are thinking of adding the extra night;)

Got your email. Thank you!:goodvibes Jim would love to do the driving one, but it is just not in the budget this year!

Why can I not sleep past 6:30?

Whoever answers that question gets to hide in my suitcase when we go to Disney in a few weeks.

Sadly that's probably your bodies internal clock. If that's time you usually wake up everyday your body gets used to it. My dad was in the military for 20yrs and because of it wakes up every day around 4-5am. :faint:

Do you have a cat that thinks you need to be awake? That's my excuse.

:lmao: :rotfl2: ::yes:: that's my problem.

Rummy in da house!!! :smokin:

:rotfl: :rotfl2:

What in the heck happened around here last night?

:rolleyes2

Ya'll had a party and I missed it! Shouldn't have watched Little Miss Sunshine.

Oh, but that is such a cute movie though.

So, Kirt's not home and I need to talk...
I've been looking over my options for schooling Baylie again. It's either public school (which I don't want), homeschooling here at home all through high school (which I don't prefer) or a co-op here that goes through high school. The last one is looking like the winner. It would be $167 a SEMESTER (!!!!) for her to take all her core classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, & History).

The co-op idea sounds interesting. Can you do it by semester so if it's not working out she doesn't have to finish out the year or does it have to be like that for a year? Have you asked Baylie what she would like? I'd give it a try to see how it goes.

I'm off to a Girl Scout Cookie Kick-off today.

Mmmmmm Girl Scout Cookies....:hyper:

:thumbsup2 Love that word Mel!

Afternoon Fockers! :wave2:

Had a good night at work, although I'm hoping I don't get sick.

The bad thing about the weather here right now is it goes from being nice and warm in the day and pretty nippy at night and that's a nice little recipe for a cold. :crazy2: Plus one of my co-workers is sick and I feel scratchiness in my throat, so off to buy drugs to ward it off. :smokin:

TTFN! :tigger:

PSA: I'm sure everyone has heard that Circuit City is calling it quits. Has anyone hit their sale?

The boyfriend was telling me this yesterday since he's a techno freak. I heard they'll be having things at 75% off from now until they close. Plus you can't order off the website. (the boyfriend tried).

Got your email. Thank you!:goodvibes Jim would love to do the driving one, but it is just not in the budget this year!
Since Mitch is having a big b'day this year, I wanted to do something extra special, but you're right, it's not cheap! I can't wait to hear what Jim thinks. :thumbsup2

I'm sure then all the LCD's are gone. :confused3
