Happy Saturday all:goodvibes

Jo is on aplane on her way over the pond:thumbsup2

Dawn - for C

Deb - It was Dawn that got the extra days though - not trip planned for us this year:sad2:

Lori - We can carry our days/hours over up to 45 days. I'm no where near that. I usually carry about 10 or so over, plus I get 25 days per year:thumbsup2 I use my vacay time ::yes:: Either for vacation or for those days I want to work at Jimmy's school:goodvibes

CE played something like 17 games of tennis yesterday:lmao:

+++++++++++++++

Jim is off to his mom's. He is taking his sister shopping and then putting up her decorations. Jimmy and I are going wrap while he is gone. I got all of Jimmy's stuff wrapped while they were at scouts last night, so that stuff is locked away in the spare room. IT is always locked, so Jimmy never tries to go in there.:thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday!:goodvibes

Wow! That is a lot of days! :thumbsup2

:wave2: Hi Fockers!

Not much going on in our house today. Heck, not much going on this weekend for us. I have laundry to finish up with and put away. The kids are here either playing upstairs or playing with the kitten. We might drive around to see lights tonight or maybe head to the local zoo and see the light display they have. I think Santa is to be there tonight but usually there is a line of traffic that you have to sit in. Maybe we'll try tomorrow instead.

That's about it for us. Hope y'all enjoy your Saturdays!

Evening everyone, even though it seems like I am talking to myself:rolleyes1 All of my wrapping is done:yay: I was hoping to run out and get the last gift cards I need and run to the mall to pick up perfume that my mom wants, but Jim isn't home from his mom's yet, so it looks like that's not gonna happen.

Jimmy and I have been playing games and watching Christmas shows all day. So, it's been a nice relaxing afternoon.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday:goodvibes

Hello Fockers!!!

We made it back with no problems. We had a terrific time.

I got unpacked this morning. The laundry has been started. I have to pay some bills on-line and I'm uploading all my photos as I type. I also have to take a look at all the PhotoPass stuff and get that going. It might be a couple of days until I get back here.

I read the last couple of pages. If there is anything I should know, give me an update.

I know Jo just left, Dawn worked some fuzzy math, Lori has a new cat, someone's teacher died, :sad1: and Janet likes to talk to herself.

I sent postcards to those I had addresses for. I did not leave anyone out on purpose and I do have some postcards left. So if you didn't get one and you would like one, PM me your address.

You know, I could not find any Christmas themed postcards anywhere in WDW. Just regular cards. Oh well. I was thinking of all of you whilst I was there!!!!!

Hey guys! I went to see "The Princess and the Frog" last night. It was excellent! I really liked it and it also had its moments where it was reminiscent of classics like "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast". There was a lot of adult humour in it as well so don't worry both kids and adults will enjoy it. Definitely go see it!

It's been getting great reviews. Too girly for Jimmy?:confused3

I don't think so. Most of the movie they are frogs and interacting with the bayou creatures so it is not all pink frilly princess stuff all the time. The villain is definitely not girly, my Mom actually thought parts of the movie might be too scary for really little kids.

We have some sad news...

I'm so sorry, Dawn.

Today would have been my Mom's birthday. I'm ok, just remembering her today. It does get easier.

Lindsey's dentist appointment went well and she has no cavitites. No loose teeth either. I'm hoping she'll lose some soon! I'm getting worried.

Eh, they'll come out when they come out. I think it's Mo who still has a baby tooth, right? :goodvibes

:grouphug: :grouphug: to everyone else

Hi, Deb! How are you?

CE played something like 17 games of tennis yesterday:lmao:

5 hours... ;)

NOpe, it just proves that Jo is chattiest! :lmao:

::yes:: :rotfl2:

Evening everyone, even though it seems like I am talking to myself:rolleyes1 All of my wrapping is done:yay:

I'm sorry, but now I hate you. :lmao: Because, you know, I haven't bought anything but one present a piece yet for the kids, and still have a ton to get. :scared1:

I'm so glad you're back safely AND that you had a great time! :goodvibes Missed you!

OMG, yesterday got crazed. Woke up a little late, then D noticed he had an e-mail from amazon.com that for whatever reason, his debit card wasn't going through for something we were trying to get for Buzz. He tried again, thinking it might have just been one of those weird glitches, but then it still didn't go.

So, he called our bank whilst I checked our account. The account was fine (and had money) but the guy on the phone mentioned a $100 charge at a Walmart in Glendale, AZ. :sad2: I did see it online, it had gone through, but there was nothing else pending or through that was not ours. The bank guy said the card was closed, but wouldn't tell us how that happened. :headache:

D finally got himself a manager, who was fine telling us that THEY had closed the account after the suspicious charge (which is good, but also a little worrisome as D uses the card all over the world...) but why the first guy wouldn't say that in the first place, I don't know. So, I had to jump online and check our credit report, too (fine) and then D had to run to the bank to get a new debit card before he goes to fly tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the kids had a birthday party that was supposed to go from 1-3, but our basketball practice after last week's fiasco was moved to 2:00. So, we had to leave the party early and arrive late for b-ball. Then I had to scramble to the grocery store to get the stuff for the dinner party last night.

Got home, felt the need to clean house a bit (I'm keeping up much better, so it was pretty easy. Yay, me! :rolleyes1) and made the bruschetta (so yum!) and showered, etc. :rotfl:

We didn't get home until about 12:30 and we've been fairly lazy this morning. D is going to take the boys skiing this afternoon. The local, close, cheap mountain has all of 6 trails open, but they have a Sunday afternoon deal for $20, so they'll leave around 1:30. I have been given permission to stay home. ;) I don't know what I'll do - it's possible I'll watch the Christmas episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (I say this every year, but even if you never watched the show - which lasted just the one season - you could watch this episode without feeling lost, and it's such a fantabulous episode) and if I have time, "Love, Actually." I will not go anywhere near the mall on a weekend. The birthday party yesterday was near the mall, and I was ready to explode from the traffic.

Oh, the party was a "paint your own pottery" party. I had thought about dropping the kids and heading to Trader Joe's, but it was actually a few blocks nearer to the mall, and I was too scared to go back out. A mom friend of mine - the one from baseball whom I so clicked with - was there, and she said, "Paint pottery with me!" I did, but it's not pretty. :rotfl: My mom has to like it, because I'm her kid - even if I'm 37, right? :rotfl2: Apparently (since I had to leave early) the lady put on the receipt "the Wonderbread mug" if that gives you an idea of what it looks like. :rotfl2:

Good to know! I can't wait, but wasn't sure I would get the boys to go. :thumbsup2

Is that all:rotfl:

Not much going on here. Finishing up the laundry:laundy: while Jim goes and puts his mother's tree up. He just puts it together and puts the lights on for them. They do the ornaments and stuff. He shoul dbe home about 2 or 3, so I may run to the King of Prussia mall to get the couple of gift cards that I still need and perfume that my mother wants. It's called Shalimar, ever heard of it? My mother wanted me to pick it up and she would pay for it, but I am going to wrap it as part of her Christmas gift:thumbsup2

Once I get the perfume and a Hess gift card for my dad, I can pack their stuff and get it shipped to them this week so it is there in time for Christmas AND to drive my father crazy...he likes to shake boxes:rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Happy Sunday everyone!:goodvibes

I'm sorry:hug:

It's OK, I'm just starting to freak a little.

Ugh, glad he was able to get a new card though!:thumbsup2

I know - I was a little surprised that you could get a new debit card at the branch - I felt like they were always having to be mailed. But it worked, so that's good!

Speaking of presents, my kids found all their Santa presents this morning. I have them all hidden in my closet and I asked the kids to go find the kitten upstairs. They looked in my closest and just happened to notice the bags and dug through them all. :headache:

My dad hasn't gotten them a gift yet for Christmas so what he gets them will be from Santa and everything else will be from me. It will be a boring Christmas for them with no surprises because I don't plan on getting them anything else.

Not much planned today. I need to clean up some around the house and put some laundry away. I need to make up a grocery list for the week and DR and I will go tomorrow after I buy my books from school.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

Dang, that stinks. But I'm glad you can back up with your dad's stuff.

So, yeah, they had said maybe snow showers today, but then this morning it was 80% chance of rain instead. Currently, it's pouring snow. I don't know if it will switch or not (I hope it doesn't at the ski hill for the menfolk) but it's coming down pretty hard. My driveway is coated and the flakes are huge and fast!
