Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Just finished The Vampire's Assistant: Cirque du Freak. It was a little weird, but it was free so whatever ! lol

Glad you're feeling better. :hug:

I am about to download it now! I went on a moie downloading fest before the trip so I could watch during travel but all I wanted was Valentine's Day & Time Travelers Wife.

Brown came through!!!! :cool1:

My new camera arrived and I can't put it down.

I've been wanting this FOREVER!!! :cloud9:

canonrebelxsi.jpg

NICE! I am wanting to upgrade my camera to something a bit more spiffy. :)

I forgot to share my happy news! My friend, whose wedding I was in a couple of years ago, had her baby boy this morning! :banana: They had to go through a lot to get him going in the first place, ;) but last night/today everything went pretty well (ended up with a c-section, but it wasn't too scary of a situation) and he and mommy are fine! :banana: :banana:

She wasn't wanting an April Fool baby, but I think she'll be OK. :rotfl:

I feel like an auntie! She's one of my oldest friends. :goodvibes

CONGRATS!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Afternoon ladies! What ever happened to our gents? :confused3
KC is off to do his drug testing for the new job. We also sold our old digital camera today..so thats a nice $40 in my pocket! :) Pants is coming over so we can split up the big box of 100 Magic cards they bought at the convention and so they can teach me to play! LOL.
Tomorrow KC got roped into working (hello he only works there until April 19th) because they are now milking him for all they can. PS the on call phone rang 3 times yesterday! But we are going for some free breakfast at Ikea and to pick up some stuff for his mom. We were supposed to go to a party but stupid work killed that!
This evening is grocery shopping.
Thats about it.
Have a great day everyone!
:lovestruc You're my dream wife, Jo. :rotfl:
I know :rotfl2:
It just looks scary :scared:
Honestly it's not, inside is just a sponge with a layer of syrup on the top and when it's heated the syrup runs down :thumbsup2
Would the piccalilli be like sauerkraut? I got a few strange looks taking pictures in the international aisle. :rotfl:
Yep very like sauerkraut and I too funny about the looks :rotfl2:
I hope the sponge pudding is better than the: "Stoge " they served for school lunches !! The pudding is a heavy sponge type pudding and the Treacle is actually Golden syrup which is similar to our honey except a little thicker and is delish!!!
Corn syrup???? Oh and I love golden syrup on bread or ice cream :cloud9:
I'm :rotfl: at all the Brit food.
Hey :rotfl2:
Branston is delish!!! It's a relish but chunkier than ours and is brown !! I really miss it !! Now will ya'll look for PEAR DROPS!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
Are there any stores like this near you Rosie?
I crashed for about 4 hours this afternoon. We got back from the eye doctor. I had a punding headache. I thought it was becasue I hadn't eaten anything, but eating just made it worse and made me naseous:sick:.
Sounds like you needed it, how are you today? :hug:
Brown came through!!!! :cool1:
My new camera arrived and I can't put it down.
Very nice
Good Morning Fockers !! Just back from pre op testing !! Have to go to worek soon but am taking a little break!!! Chat again tonite !!
Pre op? Are you OK? :hug:
I'd like to stay at home today but my mother wants to bond and go shopping. If only she'd buy me something. :rolleyes1 They can't seem to understand I can't be gone all day everyday, and that I have things at home that need to be done.:rolleyes:
Yikes about your sister and hope you enjoy your shopping trip!!!
Have fun and I realised this morning in the shower that I never said anything about your photos, I didn't quote as the post was too long and then forgot, sorry :flower3: Looks like you had a great trip!
Wow what a day :faint: I started by painting the ceiling and another coat on the wall then it was straight to Jessica's school at 11am for her exam interview, she ended up going with German, History, Art (photography) and triple science plus all the core English, Maths etc :thumbsup2 We then went straight from there into Maidstone which is about 40 minutes away (we did a big triangle as the school is 35 minutes away but Maidstone is about 15 minutes away) where we had lunch and did loads of shopping before getting stuck in tons of traffic. It took us 20 minutes to crawl out of the car park :eek: We then stopped to buy paint (which I have to return tomorrow as I bought 2 tins and they're the same colour but 1 is matt and the other silk :sad2:) before hitting the supermarket and then finally home at 5.30pm :faint:
So I'm now relaxing :rotfl:
Golden syrup sounds good. I'll have to look for it. That and Rosie's Pear Drops. :laughing:
We have both. I still haven't watched Valentine's Day. Maybe tomorrow.
NICE! I am wanting to upgrade my camera to something a bit more spiffy. :)
Apparently he got a great deal from Best Buy.:confused3 I got the camera, an IS lens, spare battery, 8G SD card and case.
Since it's early day all week, the teacher didn't need me in class today. I'm usually in Evan's class from 9-10am and then Maddies from 10-11am.
Stay away from the rice pudding :sick: That's all I have to say :rotfl2:
Will do! ;) Taking all those pics yesterday, I forgot my salad cream! D'Oh! :headache:
Congrats to Jess. Ugh.. I so need to do something about the downstairs bath. It needs to be gutted, but I just don't want to get that involved at the moment. It definitely needs a paint job... perhaps next week I'll get started. :rolleyes1
So far, I'm loving it! The full auto mode is awesome, but I'd love to learn to use all the bells and whistles. I ordered a Dummies book for it, so I'm hoping to learn it all before our June trip.
I loved taking classes at the art school. Of course some of the other students knew way more than I to begin with, but I still enjoyed it.
I forgot to share my happy news! My friend, whose wedding I was in a couple of years ago, had her baby boy this morning! :banana:
Congratulations! :goodvibes Do you follow Savvy Auntie on Twitter? She's always talking about how wonderful Aunties are.
Awww that's great I just had an email saying Ellie's GodMother had a baby girl Jemima the other day :goodvibes
Spring is in the air. Congrats to you too. :goodvibes
So I'm now relaxing :rotfl:
Definitely you need to. :thumbsup2
My mother brings up that I didn't say they could stay with me, she guesses I don't want them too, :headache: No, I thought you all wanted to stay here and there wasn't room. So now she and my dad are staying here Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My friend comes Wednesday, so she'll be here too, and hopefully they will go to my sister's new house Thursday. :rolleyes:
Did you hear about the boy hit by a Disney bus? What the heck is going on? Sad. :angel:
Brown came through!!!!
My new camera arrived and I can't put it down.
I've been wanting this FOREVER!!!
Nice!:thumbsup2 Jim has camera envy;)
My sister has two houses and won't be able to sleep in either of them Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. They had the terrazzo refinished and didn't realize it could not be walked on for 24 hours. That put the painters at the new house back a few days and they have painters already for the old house so they can't stay there either. They all won't fit at my house or my sister's MIL's and my friend is coming Wednesday. My BIL wanted to get a room at the Ritz until my sister reminded him they have two houses to pay for.
What a pain. Where are they going to stay?
I'd like to stay at home today but my mother wants to bond and go shopping. If only she'd buy me something. They can't seem to understand I can't be gone all day everyday, and that I have things at home that need to be done.
Did you get anything!
Not much going on.... I got kicked out of school today , so I'll be around all morning. I do need to get some laundry done. Ugh.
Uh oh, what happened?
WTH happened to Spring? No joke, on Monday the kids wore tees and shorts to school. Today they're wearing jeans, long sleeves.... Ugh.
Come here this weekend. 81 by Saturday. In shorts and T's today:thumbsup2
Fine! No problems!:confused3
When did this happen:sad2:
______________________________
Hi all. Busy, busy day here. Got up about 7am. Took my car in for inspection. I needed new brakes (I apparent;y only had one that was functioning properly:scared1:), and that was done about 12:00. After dropping the car off we ran to Walmart, becasue Jimmy dropped a whole bottle of strawbeery milk down his pants:headache: so we grabbed him a whole new outfit and changed in him the bathroom:sad2: After that we went to his occupational therapy appointment, picked up my car. Dropped off my car at home, ran to Burger King for lunch and then headed to his therapist appointment.
After the therapy appointment we went to the library. While jimmy and I hung out in the library, Jim ran to the ATm to make a deposit and then to hair cuttery to get his hair cut (He only gets a #1 clipper, so I think he is safe at Hair Cuttery).
Now we are home :faint: Jim is cleaning the yard of dog poop so that Jimmy can go out and play since it is so nice out.
Hope you are all having a loverly day:goodvibes
Hi all, just checking in. :wave:
Nothing new just work. Gonna go watch Clash of the Titans tomorrow. I love mythology! :love:
First I am fine Ihave a coposcopy and biopsy next wednesday !!! Irregular Paps !! Doc says no worries sooo I'm believing him !! It's just as I had Breast Cancer they are super cautious with me !!!
No stores like that near me or I would be getting some Branston !!! The Piccalli can stay , I think the closest thing here may be mustard relish :confused3
Now look for those dang PEAR DROPS , pork pies too !!!
Thanks for the congrats, everyone! I got some pictures from his actual aunt - his parents, of course, are in the hospital yet. ;)
Rosie, best of luck. :hug:
D did more work on the bathroom today - he got the damaged floor tiles up and the toilet removed, plus some other supplies bought. He is gone just part of the day tomorrow, so that's good - but he has to leave at 4:00 a.m. :eek:, so he should be going to bed instead of working.
D's been busy. :thumbsup2 That's good he has time to finish. Mitch can do most projects but finding the time is the problem. It makes him so mad. ;)
Our pool is finished and looks very nice, but the lack of customer service was just terrible, especially since I used them on a recommendation. I was so mad I wrote a complaint letter, which I have never done before. Not surprisingly I have not heard back from them! :rolleyes: How sad when their work was perfectly acceptable and had the customer service been better, I would have no problem recommending them.
When Mitch was calling our creditors to get the reduced interest rate whilst he's activated, we got some great customer service~ Shell, Disney Visa USAA, and the water company~ which I did post on Twitter. :thumbsup2 I cannot speak highly enough of USAA and if you have any connection to use them, I definitely would. :goodvibes
Uh oh, what happened?
Oh nothing bad, it's minimum day all week and the schedules have changed, so the teachers thought it best I not come in this week. ;)
Hope you are all having a loverly day:goodvibes
Ugh! That's how I feel about the contractor who did our kitchen. The work was beautiful, but the customer service sucked ***. I won't refer them to anyone, even people who have asked who did our kitchen. I'll tell them "You don't want to use these guys, trust me." Sad, isn't it? They could have had at least 4 referrals from us. :sad2:
TGIF!!!! The kids have a super minimum day today. Evan's out at 11:20 and Maddie at 11:40. Maddie's getting 2 awards this morning, 1 for reading and the for perfect attendance. I can't believe she hasn't missed any school this year. :thumbsup2
I have to make a Target run, but after it's SPRING BREAK!!!!! :woohoo:
Have a great Friday! :)
Well, that's usually our issue, too. I don't know when this will actually get done - it did take 9 months to do the other one. :rotfl: He was talking about having a trip next week, but maybe it's off now, which would be helpful. :)
Will do!
D had to get up around 3:30, then I got up with the kids and sent them off, then showered and went to tennis. I felt slightly stupid showering first, but I couldn't take myself anymore. :rotfl2: I had intended to shower before bed last night, but with D needing an early night, I felt like it was a bad idea.
Back now, nothing much going on the rest of the day. It's already sunny and lovely, but not to 60 yet. Supposed to hit 69 at some point today - not bad! :)
Ive been sooo MIA and I decided that I miss feeling like I'm living 15 different lives all at once. Sooo Ill hopefully be reading along diligently now. Especially since I only have 4 classes this quarter.
I went on my planning session at DL and was less than thrilled, but everything turned out cool. Now i feel like I dont have very much planning to do for the wedding. You guys can see pictures that i found similar to what we/I choose on my planning journal.
++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hey all. Another busy day here. Had my annual b**b smoosh this morning and then from there I ran to the grocery store, then the dollar store, and CVS. Brought all that stuff home, put it away started a load of laundry. Ran back out to the other dollar store, the dry cleaners to get another patch put on Jimmy's Cub Scout Uniform, and then to Kohl's to get a new table cover for Easter Dinner.
Now I have a couple of loads of laundry left and Jim is cleaning the basement. Then he is going to mow the lawn. We are grilling tonight since it is so nice out:thumbsup2
I may sneak out and get a pedi if I can spare a 1/2 hour
Have a great day all!:hug:
Did you hear about the boy hit by a Disney bus? What the heck is going on? Sad. :angel:
I know :eek: there seem to be lots of accidents lately :sad1: did you see about the little English girl who got killed on Daytona Beach by a car?
whats up everyone!
Hi Sam :wave:
I'm fed up with painting :rotfl2: I did the first coloured coat today and it took forever and I ache now :rotfl2: I know moan moan moan :rotfl2:
What colour are you painting it?
Well I had some purple curtains/drapes that fitted and didn't want to buy new so it's being painted purple :rotfl2: I wanted white with a touch of purple but got out voted by the girls so it's kind of a soft lavender!
Well good news I picked up my new laptop and will drop it off to Phil in the morning for him to check it out and put all the free protection on etc!!!Soooo hopefully by next week I will be back with my OWN !! Yes I bought the insurance package !! Phil said I needed to !!!:rotfl2:
Sounds good!
whats up everyone!
Hi, Sam! :)
We are grilling tonight since it is so nice out:thumbsup2
We are thinking of grilling on Sunday, since we aren't any of us much traditionalists when it comes to Easter. ;)
:rolleyes1
I'm fed up with painting :rotfl2: I did the first coloured coat today and it took forever and I ache now :rotfl2: I know moan moan moan :rotfl2:
This is your bedroom? Wanna come paint my bathroom in a couple of weeks?
Speaking of, what color is good for a bathroom? The upstairs is a very pale blue, and I don't want them to match, necessarily. White toilet and tub. Either a black wood vanity with a white top, or a white wood vanity with white top. The floor that is in, that we're saving, is white tile with sand-coloured grout. The tub surround will likely be a stone tile with white-through-sand variations in the stone. I think if we go with the white vanity, I'll need a somewhat strong color to make it not look sterile, but it's a small room. The black vanity, I like better, but am not sure about it with the white/sand floor. And then I really don't know what color to go with... :confused:
********************************************************
D just got home, and I just got a call from the gym that we can play in the tennis social tonight (we were on the wait list.) Sadly, though, the older son of my tennis friend has made other plans - so we can't drop the kids at their house. But luckily, my neighbor and her son are free. We'll likely just let the kids play with her younger DS, then, if we're late, their DS13 will come over and turn babysitter, put them to bed, etc. :thumbsup2
That does mean I should feed my kids early, though - I don't mean for her to have to feed them, too. :upsidedow
It's so gorgeous out - 72, sunny, slight warm breeze. :lovestruc I have the windows open all over the house. The weather's supposed to hold nice through the weekend and into next week, but next weekend looks iffy at this point. Sigh.
