I booked the bounce back offer while we were at WDW. I called today and for $32 each per night I was able to upgrade to the Deluxe plan. This offer runs through Sept. 28 and can only be booked while you are still checked in at the resort. The dates for next year are 8/30 - 9/27. Did anyone else get in on this? I am so hoping so and that we all can have a meet. There are so many of you I would love to meet face to face. Our dates will be 8/30 - 9/4.

OK I did a big multiquote about 8 hours ago and as I was about to post I broke the DIS  I'm sure it wasn't all my fault ;) but I can't be bothered to do it all again, just in case I break the DIS again :rolleyes :rotfl: BTW the DIS was off for about 8 hours

Dream Disney (what's your RL name?) your poor DS I hope you can get him back on an aeroplane one day

DD good to see you and we missed your sucking up :rotfl2:

Hope all kiddies enjoyed school and all you Mummies survived too :lmao:

TE have you found that goat herders support group yet :rotfl2:

I know, I had about a half hour between the health club and picking up the kids (bus went well! :thumbsup2 ) and I couldn't get on! I was sad. :sad1:

Congrats on the bounce back, DreamnDisney!

Jo, you broke the Dis. I was mentally cursing at our MIS guys at work all day thinking the internet was down and why didn't they just fix. I now have to mentally apoliguxe to them and tell them it was ALL YOU FAULT:rotfl2:

CE: Glad the boys did well on the bus.

OK, here is my child crisis for the day: Stitch (His name is Jimmy, I just can't call him Stitch anymore!) had 4 fillings and 2 caps put on today:scared1: I think I was more upset than he was. He is sleeping like an angel now. The thing that bothers me the most is that he doesn't get that much junk. Sure, he likes his chocolate (like his mama:love: ) but he doesn't get it very often and is just as happy to eat an aple, orange or banana. If this is happening to his baby teeth, what is it going to be like when he gets his adult teeth:sad2: Thank goodness for Dental Insurance:thumbsup2

OMG Jo--I have been in withdrawal all day......as in.....
I actually cleaned my entire cooktop area inside and out and trimmed all the flowers. Whew! I hope the boards aren't down tomorrow! Too much work can't be good for ya!

Who's the MIS guys? Do you have their email????

Does he have any permanent teeth yet? My kids got sealants and have not had any cavities. A friend of mine had 2 kids that both had baby teeth cavities--something about the enamel being soft. I think the dentist put them on special toothpaste or something (but don't quote me on that... literally!)
My BA likes the Kids Rinse (ACT) and uses it regularly so it may help too.

So.........how DID everyone cope with the DIS board crisis???

Oh, Janet, that's too bad! I know my dentist was on us for the fruit snacks, but so far we're OK - and we did cut back on that... Buzz is missing a front tooth due to injury, but not cavities yet. Don't you wonder how this stuff happens?

D. & I were talking about the aliases (aliei?) the other night. It's really only my first name that is "googleable" and so I could call all of them by their real names, but... It's kind of funny, as I'm starting to refer to D. as "D." in family emails and stuff now! :rolleyes1 And, I still feel weird about not telling you all my real name. But, this is my concession to D. to have him comfortable with me posting the pictures... I'll keep him happy to keep doing that. :)

I have to pipe up about this. My boys are the same way. The biggest problem, the dentist says, is the flossing. That is where the cavities are getting in. We try to be good with the flossing but we aren't always.

Yes, I know. After lecturing my teenager on the importance of internet privacy--she questioned my intelligence in posting family pics on a public site. But of course I responded with "but these are NICE internet people!):lmao: (you are nice, right?? RIGHT?? Just mainly moms with kids, right???)

And I caught myself yelling: "HEY BA--COME HERE!"
:rotfl2:

Oh yes...we are nice people. Very friendly DISers who want nothing more than to stalk other very nice DISers.

Of course, there are a very very few freaks that come out and ruin things. But, I think the DIS rocks with all the great friends I have made - even if you all are virtual (that's what my family says; they don't believe you all are real and they think I have imaginary friends). You are real, right? Someone please talk to me please??? :lmao:

The dentist told us NO gummy stuff at all. Fruit snack, gummy worms, or swedish fish EVEN raisins! It's really hard to come with snalc for daycare too because there is a nut ban and things I think would be good for snack get put back on the shelf or bought and only used at home because they have the nut warning on them:sad2: I hate to send the same thing all the time because I dont' want him to get bored, KWIM?

Actually this guy didn't say anything about flossing. I will have gove him a call tomorrow and ask him about it. Thanks for the  . He was a really good dentist though. He even called about 4:00 or so to check on Jimmy and see how he was doing.

That was nice of the dentist. :) We DO floss, which might help. They had me flossing the kids from 3 on, but Jimmy's just now 4, right? I use the little one-time floss pick things, and the boys actually do it themselves now.

We got the notes for k-g, and the snacks are to be "healthy" and I am already -after 2 days- thinking that they'll get bored. I've done apple slices the last two days... :)

One snac that jimmy does/did like was a handful of small pretzels and a handful of raisins. Kind of a kiddie version of trail mix. Jimmy doesn't like raw veggies, celery etc so that's out for us. I also send the single serve apple sauces. Do they have acces to a fridge or does it have to be something that will be okay in a lunch box? We have acces to a fridge so I can also send yogurt.

Glad he handled it so well. Sorry you and he had to go through all that.

That's a good idea. They have to use the lunchbox, but being a good DISer, I got the insulated Disney Store ones and put an ice pack in. They might like yogurt. :)

Not well :hyper: (that's meant to be me shaking ):rotfl2:

I have to keep deleting DH and DD etc from e-mails :rotfl2: And you know we all wonder more about your name when you talk about it :rotfl2:

Yes, I know. After lecturing my teenager on the importance of internet privacy--she questioned my intelligence in posting family pics on a public site. But of course I responded with "but these are NICE internet people!):lmao: (you are nice, right?? RIGHT?? Just mainly moms with kids, right???)
Yeah of course we're nice :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: And there is no way I would let the DD's go on chat rooms let alone meet up with them :scared1: :rotfl:

You are real, right? Someone please talk to me please??? :lmao:
Well I think I'm real :rotfl2: actually it is weird sitting here typing away with you guys the other side of the world doing the same thing!!!!

I always refer to you all as my "imaginary friends." :rolleyes1 But, I refer to you a lot...
I find myself saying a friend said rather than try and explain you all as people I've never met but talk to everyday :rotfl2:

Yeah of course we're nice :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: And there is no way I would let the DD's go on chat rooms let alone meet up with them :scared1: :rotfl:
I know--she keeps her myspace and photobuckets accounts private and thinks it strange that I enjoy talking to people that I do not really know.......
But I know quite a few of you better than folks here!

My mom freaked out when I met S'late and Miz D last spring--she made me promise to be with DH in an open area! (in hind site--that was probably good advice! JK!;) )
Well I think I'm real :rotfl2: actually it is weird sitting here typing away with you guys the other side of the world doing the same thing!!!!
Yea me too--but I find it funny that I talk to you several times a day, but I haven't heard from my husband since Monday....... (somehow the international cell phone is just giving me voice mail :confused3 )

I find myself saying a friend said rather than try and explain you all as people I've never met but talk to everyday :rotfl2:
Me too--the funny thing is that my step-dad's name is Joe, so I now have to say "Jo--in England said that....."
And then I get the worried looks....

I have to keep deleting DH and DD etc from e-mails :rotfl2: And you know we all wonder more about your name when you talk about it :rotfl2:

I know. I'm sorry. :) I'm happy to share my middle name, and you could call me that, instead. I always said I was going to start using it instead of my first name when I went off to college, but, well... I didn't. I like my first name, it's just unique! But, it's also why my kids' names are really "normal" and easy to spell. ;)

My middle name is Elizabeth. :goodvibes

I find myself saying a friend said rather than try and explain you all as people I've never met but talk to everyday :rotfl2:

You know, that's better!

I know--she keeps her myspace and photobuckets accounts private and thinks it strange that I enjoy talking to people that I do not really know.......
But I know quite a few of you better than folks here!

I feel that way, too!

Me too--the funny thing is that my step-dad's name is Joe, so I now have to say "Jo--in England said that....."
And then I get the worried looks....

I don't know any other Jo's, but I know several Tracy's, and so with you and T., and the ones I "really" know... :) I'm forever qualifying you. Tracy - from VA, Tracy - from CA, Tracy - the one here, Tracey (note the spelling) - my high school friend... :)
