Guess what??

I got a new goat!!! She is a 3 year old Boer nanny goat that the kids named "Noodles." (I don't know why the name...)>. She is white with large brown patches and will delivery 1-3 babies sometime in November! This is a new experience for my little farm.....nothing else here is capable of reproducing! Although my goat, Prince, seems to have forgotten that he has been neutered and wants to be a daddy goat all of a sudden. Noodles just turns around and butts him. You go girl! No means no, right?? And you're already pregnant! Tumnus, my other goat, has no interest in that area. I believe it's because he thinks he's a horse! I'll post some pics when I take them--I have been busy out in the field making sure the horses get adjusted to her.

Hey there Fockers from Wyoming!!! My niece and I are at a lodge way up in the mountains, I got online to check in for our flights tomorrow and thought I would stop by the Dis.

I'm trying to catch up on all my Dis reading before I head out to the world - also trying to pack and clean the house. Anyway, the kids are fighting. DD2 is on the floor kicking DS6, so I tell DS6 to move away. He moves across the room and she following him, gets on the floor right next to him to kick him again. So I give her time out and put her on the naughty step. After being allowed to get off the naughty step, she plays some, then DS6 starts yelling that DD2 just hit him in his privates. I looked at DD2 and without a word, she put herself on the naughty step.

Thanks for all the goat congratulations! I have ordered a book called "Just Kidding" (get it?? cause baby goats are kids???)
Noodles has adjusted well to our little family. If she gets irritated by too much male attention, she rears back on 2 legs and head -butts them. She is really sweet and comes up to be petted and fed--if you hold any bucket, she will follow you forever. She has a pretty light blue collar but is not used to the leash yet so I have to work on that. (I get lots...well some...exercise leading my goats around so I like them all leash trained.)
I have not managed to teach them to sit, but I found one internet site that said you can teach them to "beg" by sitting on their rears. I don't think they were kidding, so I am planning to try it sometime.

Would you believe I'm still suffering with jet lag Could not get to sleep last night so did not want to wake up Hopefully my time clock will sort itself out soon, girls go back to school next week, tomorrow is going to be spent sewing name labels in all of Jessica's new uniform, oh how I love that job I'll have to post a photo of her in her uniform as I don't think your schools do uniform do they?

However, I did go and get a TON of alien green mickey heads from Home Depot today and am trying to figure out what to do with them. You're the experts so thats why I am here and asking.

I don't want to waste them on our luggage because that goes right to the room un-noticed. Do people really put them on their doors? I've never seen that. I do want to put them on our stroller so it was be easily identified.

Any other suggestions?

By the way we leave tomorrow for a week at Beach Club.

Some schools do uniforms here, but not a ton of the free ones. I would say Public School, but that means something different in the UK, right? We would LOVE to see a picture!

Ooh, that's exciting! I put a Mickey on my bag with a hole punch and a lime green ribbon, but since I was at AKL I couldn't do up a window or anything. I didn't see anyone... Good luck finding people! I'm jealous that you get to go so soon!

Just paid again to have some online time. We are having a great time and have spotted a few DISers while here. Haven't really talked to any other then a quick hello. We are having a great time and I am sooo enjoying my time. Ds and I were first to MGM today and I got some great empty park picks. DD said the tour of AK was great. We are headed to CP tonight for dinner and the PPP at MK. Little Ones Extra Magic Hour at MK rocks and I can't stress enough to all to get there if you have little ones. We are going to do it again on Sunday because it was so much fun. Got to go for now.

Sorry to jump in on your thread! I went to Cabo last February with DH - he won a trip through work. If you like waverunners, be sure and rent one or two and go out and see the sea lions on the rocks. That was a alot of fun....but they smell! We also went to Cabo Wabo with a big group one night - Sammy Haggar owns it in case you didn't know - and he was there PLAYING! Did some old Van Halen hits. FUN! We were only there 3 nights so we didn't do a lot more than that and hang out on the beach. Have fun!

No, that's what this thread is for. We just chat and share. Thanks for the info! D. (my DH) has to go, and asked if I wanted to try to go along, but I just don't know anything about it. The only places I've been in Mexico are Cancun and Juarez (I lived in El Paso - Juarez is the other side of the border town area.) I don't even have the info on where we'd be staying - and D.'s work chooses, so we'll just have to see.
