Jo did you ever hear if you got into the golf club?

I did and I got in Sorry for not posting I couldn't remember where I had and hadn't posted! I had to answer loads of rules questions and stuff so it was a bit scary! DD has just got in too we're just off to pay her membership, she can't wait to get her bagtag and diary hope she wants to play golf too

It's in the UK called Wrotham Heath in Kent, it's a very old (just had it's centenary) and very traditional but that's what I like, also my DH is a pro but works at a driving range with no course!

We joined our club when we were 25yo because we wanted to take advantage of the Jr member discount. I remember like it was yesterday the grilling we got by the association . I play but not wel,l so it was a stretch for me and DH kept testing me . All worked out in the end and now its great for the kids too!. Hope you enjoy!

Hey DB--I think you need to change your ticker--the due date is getting closer!! Are you nervous?? My DH was really nervous with both of them (before and after the birth!) but he did ok--got to cut the cord with AE.

omg.. on the profile of a tag fairy thread Trentmom was googling "gutter chics" anyone who is over there will get it.. well when she was googling the images on page 2 was the picture of Utah Mama that she has in her sig! also there is the dog with the gold fish crackers on his nose from are we there yet's signature... weird.

Do you have a handicap now? I used to play off 12 when I was younger, I'm trying to get my handicap back now and I'm playing to about 18! Did I mention DH is a PGA Pro? If only I'd listen to him We just played 9 holes, it was DD's first time on a big course (she's used to a par 3 course) and she did really well she shot 73 over 9 holes but she is only 10 years old so she was pleased! It did help that the sun was shining too

I havent posted enough scores to get a "real" handicap. I am embarassed to say that for 18 holes I shoot ...well lets just say its above 100 and leave it at that.. My DH is not a pro and I dont listen to him, he makes me nervous and gets upset when I dont listen to his advice. I am going to take lessons with our pro this season. Great to hear that your DD is involved. Im sure she could beat me!!! What about your younger DD? any interest. My DS4 plays ice hockey and has also taken a liking to golf.(it must be the stick thing), He is going to take a Jr camp i think this season .

No not much interest she loves her dancing (was in our towns Panto this year 200 girls auditioned for 80 spots!) and trampolining (she had her first competition on Sunday against 12 others and won ) but she's very young and she will play one day, well she can hit it well already, as we're all going on golfing holidays so she'll have to Keep at the golf and you'll improve really quick

I'm still here. The teacher I work for goes to WDW on 6/10. I'm jealous. I did give her my 3 page packing list and a 53 page report that some wonderful poster had emailed me. It gives a bunch of great hints to all things WDW.

We left DS6 in South Carolina. His first trip away from us. He is having fun and when I called today, he said he didn't want to talk to me.
