Good Morning everyone What is everyone up to today?

Let's see.... I feel like hammered poo, so I guess I'm doing nothin' today, just . I blamed V for my cold. She's the only person I know who is sick - must be a computer virus.

Then we are going to Toys R Us to return Hungry Hungry Hippos and then while we are at the mall we just have to stop into the Disney Store.

DO NOT TELL ME IF DISNEY STORE HAS ANY GOOD DEALS! I'm on a financial diet! Found out the fumigation is going to cost $2500! Plus, we have to leave for 2 days - can you say ROAD TRIP! I think we'll head down to San Diego and hit Sea World and the Zoo for a long weekend.

I'm sure he's still very handsome!

BA is driving me nuts cheering--her first competition is this SUnday in Charleston, WVA. We will spend Sat nite and then she cheers on Sunday. It's alot of mom work too--gotta pack a suitcase full of hair and makeup supplies. I've never been to these things before.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I've been so sick, I've barely been out of bed. I was just checking what you guys weree talkinga bout while I eat a little lunch, then I'm off to nap again.

TE- I wanted to say, I feel your pain.
B's first dance competition is Friday, so I spent a while last night packing up her tights, make-up kit, and readjusting her costume straps (I don't do sewing!). I went to help her try on her new body tights and I snagged them with my wedding ring. So, there goes $20 and DH has to go grab some more today. I was so upset, I almost cried. I'm sure it was the combo of frustration and being so sick on top of that.
Anyway, it IS a lot of mom work, but it's so fun. Post pics Monday, okay? I'll do the same.

Until I can stop sneezing, and coughing... be good, Fockers.

No school today - the boys actually even slept in an extra half hour or so.

I've been doing some dusting and cleaning up in the office a bit. The twins playgroup is going to be here tomorrow afternoon, but the house is in pretty good shape since we had company Saturday. The boys organized their toy bins on Saturday, and that was terrific!

Anyone else have anything fun going on today?

Ugh bad morning already! With only 8 days to go i was all excited to get going on the packing and dye my hair, etc. but then the mail came. Apparently I got denied the disability. Funny thing is i just got a call from my general doctor saying to come in so she can fill out the papers. It seems the deny came before all the paperwork went in. So now I have to appeal it and have a hearing on my behalf (whats a hassle). So now as soon as we get back I need to go to the doctors offices myself and get copies of my files and take them to the hearing myself. I am very upset about this esp since this week has been considerably bad for my back pain. Just very frustrating!

So I'm going to break in my crockpot and dye my hair and rid myself of these greys! Have a good one all!

How do you do her hair? They told me to wash it the night before, spray it stiff, and roll in sponge rollers. Then they want it in a high pony tail with lots of curls and ribbons.

It was supposed to get to 3 here last night, but it's 19 by now. You're not supposed to be as cold as me!

I know! But living high in the Appalachians kinds skews the weather northern-ward a lot--you'll see a pink strip on the weather map that stretches from Maine to here and seems to mean "Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

BTW--I'm enjoying showing everyone the card you sent me--they agreed it's hard to find a card with a goat and a sheep on it!

Do y'all remember Knight Rider? I really liked the show! (no seriously....I really did!)

Today? kids are still in bed. Will go check on mom when they get up and then have 2 basketball games tonite.

Oh Kat! FWIW, I know California State Disability always denies a first time submission. They do this to weed out people who just apply for s*its and giggles, KWIM? Don't know how NY State works, but don't lose hope!

Are you sure you have to do the entire house? If they are just in the deck area, isn't there a chance that is where they'll stay, or do they mosey like that? We have a bond on the house, and the termite guy comes every 3 months to check for signs of bugs. Maybe you could have someone come out first and look under the house for the extent of the damage. Just a thought...$2500 is never an easy pill to swallow.
