If I'm at Epcot, how would I get to the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary?
I'm trying to figure out what to do the first evening we are at Disney. We'll be at Epcot that night and two more nights. I only have two TS I like at Epcot and that's Le Cellier & Coral Reef. So, I need another place to eat (Chef Mickey's or 1900 PF, I'm thinking) one of those nights. :surfweb:

After looking at the Garden Grill's menu, maybe we should go there. Anyone have an opinion on the GG?
I'm thinking characters, and in Epcot= good choice.
Is the food yummy?

Dawn--I would monorail to the TTC then get on resort monorail....I think..........

V--the veracruz has more cargo room behind the 3rd seat.

Thanks for the youtube link--I forwarded it on to her work friends too! :thumbsup2

When Sarabeth was discussing all that stuff last year in Va history My head was spinning too. They went into WAAAAAAYYY more detail than I did.
But we sure hammered Ky. History :rotfl2:

Por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Are you an "AAA" Member... You know... you can either go to one of their Certified Dealers and get better prices... OR... Just use the AAA numbers to haggle... they WILL USUALLY come down so that THEY get your business and you not drive anywhere else.

Roanoke does not have a AAA Member dealer.. But Honda Met my price so I did not drive to North Carolina.
BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR HOMEWORK DONE..

2008 models will give you Haggle room :rolleyes1 I'm just saying:rolleyes1

Actually--I tried the AAA today with the Veracruz.......and I got a call from some guy in Fredricksburg (??near DC) and Atlanta...........hmm.....don't think I want to drive that far!
So they met your price tho???

That's what I was thinking, too. I was also thinking that we would end up too cranky to want to go back and watch the show.
I'd really like to see the nighttime shows this year since we only saw Wishes last time. I'm thinking the first few nights before everyone gets worn down is the best time to try and keep them up late.

It was the best part of my day! I had to go back into the doctor today to get some stronger antibiotics for my ear infection. When the doc took a look in my ear, he started to write me a prescription for Codeine pain meds. It must have looked pretty bad in there. I told him I didn't want it, just give me the antibiotics. I don't want my head to explode when I get on the plane next week!!! :scared:

Ugh, hope you feel better!

TOUGH CALL THERE... The antics of the step sisters makes 1900 great.
You can catch Mickey Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald other places.. BUT if you are there early enough or LONG enough.. you can get a second go around with them :goodvibes
Thanks for the youtube link--I forwarded it on to her work friends too! :thumbsup2

Yes they did... I went in with WHAT they would sell it to me for... they checked the Options... and Yes Ma'am.. they MET IT. But then again I did not have THAT far a drive.. but it was an Hour's drive:rolleyes1

Still do your research.. you have a TRUE INVOICE... and go for the Jugular
If you do not LOW BALL.. They've got you by your Ta'Ta's...

'Twas The Night Before Christmas
An Original Focker Poem by TE!

T'was the night before Christmas
And I just couldn’t sleep
Thoughts of old friends and new
Made me not get a peep

I went to the kitchen
in search of a bite.
If I filled up my stomach,
perhaps I'd sleep tight.

The cupboard was empty
the fridge, it was bare.
I searched in the crockpot
But no food anywhere!:headache:

I looked out the window:
Streets covered with snow;
It’s two in the morning
Could I still talk to Jo?

I spied my computer,
I’ll go bootup that.
Then take me online
for some Christmas Eve chat.

My puter came to life
without even a miss!
Thanks to Rosie's puter skills!
I’ll be able to DIS!

But-----where was my Janet?
And where was my Mel?
Oh Katt, Kat, and Lessa,
Jens and Jodys?— do tell!

My threads were all opened
And I waited to chat
But the Fockers were silent
Can’t imagine that!:sad2:

No Dawn, V, or Ed
Wow--that's just great…
Not even a Tracy
for another update.

Maybe Z’s working late,
Or Rachel too!
Not even Angela or Mo-
To say “Miss you too!”

Where are Slate and Mary?
I felt so alone.
Guess CE’s with her hubby….
So I can’t use the phone!

But wait! One more refresh!
Now what do I see?
There's someone else out there.
Wanting to talk to me!:)

In wonder---I read:
"Hey---it's 3:53.
Your friends are all sleeping;
that's where you should be".

"Turn off that 'puter.
Take your hand off that mouse.
I have a few things
to drop off at your house".

"You know I can't stop there
while you're still awake.
I have schedules to keep.
Come on----Give Me A Break!"

If you really are Santa
(that jolly, old elf)
there's only one present
I'd wish for myself.

The folks on my DIS list.
Those friends far and near.
You just gather them up
and bring them right here.

In just a few hours
I awoke with a start.
It was only a dream--I sighed
heavy of heart.

I walked down the stairs
and there 'round my tree,
were all of the people
I thought I'd never see.:cloud9:

We laughed and we {{{{{hugged}}}}}
and we just had a ball.
Hmmmmmm--maybe that wasn't
a dream after all.

So to all of my friends
I do say with great cheer
Merry Christmas my Fockers!
I wish you were here…..

TE!!! My first thought was, "Awww... That was so darn cute!" :flower3:
Then I thought, "Wow! She sure did have a lot of time on her hands today!" ;)

Really, though, that was so cute and sweet! What a great Christmas wish. :grouphug:

Mo! Max just gave Rocky Cooper and Namatha big smooch!!! Thanks for the card guys !!
well, dang.....I had you in there but couldn't find it so I added it again---now there may be 2 Rosies!

Good Evening Everyone!
I guess I was in a let people have it kind of mood yesterday. I posted this e-mail in our homeschooling group, after I cancelled a Christmas craft party for lack of RSVPs. Several of the ladies in the group said they didn't know they had to RSVP when it was in the newsletter.

The newsletter clearly stated that there was a deadline for this activity. The reason I set this deadline is so I could adequately prepare snacks and set up tables.

We're all short on time, but it only takes a second to RSVP for activities when the newsletter comes out. When we don't make RSVPing, arriving on time to field trips, or paying for tickets (or books) we reserved a priority, the person who plans the activity has to suffer. I have been really upset at the treatment several of the ladies who have gone out of their way to take a planning role in our group have received in the last few months. Bullying, sticking someone with the bill when people don't pay for the things they order, ugly e-mails... It really breaks my heart.

I will "uncancel" the activity this time, since so many people do want to attend. But, please ladies, let's treat each other kindly and be true to our word before our group is left with very little for our families to participate in. There are so many people in the world against what we do, we really can't afford to treat each other badly, can we?

Thank you for letting me speak my heart and I look forward to seeing all of you Wednesday. PLEASE, e-mail me at ******** by SUNDAY night so I can properly prepare for the Christmas craft party.

Dawn L****

I was done with it. I've talked to our groups president about ti several times and nothings happened, so I took care of it myself. I mean, these people send snide e-mails (not to the whole group, of course) and bully me to change the date or time on everything. A couple of my firends who plan activities have been stuck with paying for books or Nutcracker tix that people committed to, but won't pay for. It's really been weighing on me and I've been so disgusted by it.

So far I haven't gotten any ugly e-mails back from it, just ones that say sorry or ignore what I said. Half of the RSVPs now were to the group, so they STILL aren't paying attention! The meeting Tuesday should be fun! ;) :rolleyes1
BRAVO!

Went to Hershey Park for Christmas in Hershey!
It looked like a lot of fun. Great pictures.

Hi everyone been busy bargain shopping as usual on Sunday!! The girls came in 3rd in the Canadian Competition and are telling they are invited to compete in Florida !!! While that sounds great not sure if we can afford it if the team decides to go and then what will it do to our 2009 plans !!!I seem to remember that the contest was in Feb this year when I was there !!So if we all go then I will not be going in Sept.
Yay for the 3rd place, Boo on the timing!

I'm not in the Christmas spirit this year. I have absolutely no desire to decorate or put up the tree. :guilty: I don't know why, maybe I'll feel different after Disney.....

I'm in my PJ's too, but I just woke up. Gotta go get ready for work now.

Later! :hippie:
I could never get into the Christmas thing while I lived in Ft. Lauderdale.

A few pics of my tree...I haven't found a new tree-skirt to match this year's theme of tealy blue and sparkly white...still looking...

Happy Holidays!
It's gorgeous, dahling! Thanks for the pics.

My family is coming here for Christmas.

Me, Jon, my father, my brother Adam, his wife Erin, their two girls Maddy and Isa, my brother Alex, his fiance Amanda, his daughters Lexie and Addison, my mother, my step-father, and the three dogs (Kadee, Rory, and Kinzee). Yes, the dogs get stockings.
We can not forget the furbabies!!

I live in bizarro world, my apartment is a vortex of h-e-double-hockey sticks I swear. I had to put the air conditioner on last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO JOKE!

We went grocery shopping and it was snowing, then we came home and it was like an oven on 400 degrees in here. I was literally dripping with sweat and unable to sleep until I finally gave up around 5am and put the darn a/c on for a while and finally feel asleep!

Not to mention we keep the window open most of the time hoping for some air and its screwing with my throat, and I think I now have a slight fever!

So how are all of you!?

I too put up a stocking for Bale, FYI.

I'll be mailing out my stuff tomorrow so watch out fockers!

Not much going on for me this week at all, some errands and maybe surprising KC with seeing Bolt on Wed (I have free tix and its free popcorn night, how's that for a cheap date). and Fri is 6 years that we have been together (the dating anniversary we call it) so we are going out for French food- oh la la!

Anyways off to lazily order some Chinese food for dinner!
Very strange weather in your apartment. Congrats on the anniversary!!!!

Morning Fockers!
.... I'm boredboredboredboredbored. Bored. And, bored.
That's not good at 7:30 AM.

I'm home sick today and if my DW finds out I'm DISing she will not be happy.
We've made another rebel!

25 kids, and 10 mommas!
There will be lots of squealing and gripeing, I'm sure.
Lord help you!

Hmm...........Supreme Cheer LEADER??
Oh BTW---I ordered these Cheer mom shirts for the group on ebay--this lady embroiders them with our girls hair color, skin tone, and uniform!!
Check them out--can't wait to get them for our first comp!
cheermomsweatshirt.jpg
Those will be really nice!

Hope I didn't forget too many. Anyone seen Jodi? Hope she's ok. She was doing WAY too much last week.
I'm still a bit tummy sick (just in case you all wondered...lol) but things are looking up.
BOB'S HERE!!! He came home yesterday, about 2 pm. We had a big turkey dinner last night and pumpkin pie. He looks great and was so glad to see the boys. He's all messed up sleeping wise though. Poor guy.

SD went to school but then came home as he's not well tummy-wise yet either. Gus is at school. MIL goes back to FL today at 1pm. I am actually sad to see her go. She was such a help and we got along great. Guess it's official. It's the FIL that makes me NUTSO.

MEL
Glad Bob is back. Hope all of you get back to 100% OK soon.

Mailed my cards on Friday...anyone get them
Yes I did. Very cute!

I also got cards from Janet & Kristel. Thank you!

It was the best part of my day! I had to go back into the doctor today to get some stronger antibiotics for my ear infection. You are welcome and I got your card as well. Thank You. Doug said, "Who is this?" I replied, "Oh just some Focker I know." :rotfl:
Hope your ear gets better.

You guys are all so creative!
Cold, Cold, Cold!! Makes me want to stay in bed all day. I have made out my grocery list for the week in NC. I packed some of the food that I already have. I did another TR update and laundry. Paid some bills. Fixed my TR on the other site cause my pics was broke. I've hardly seen Doug since he got home from work! Then I get on here to say 'Hi!' and ya'll are making me feel like a no talent, Grinch. ;) I'll just have to see what I can do about that later.

Tomorrow is a 'busy with stuff in the big town day.' Talk at you all tomorrow evening.

Hey guys and gals! .

Just lurking about and saw TE's loverly poem.. too cute TE. :goodvibes

Trying to get my Christmas cards out asap and heading over to DTD to get my ornament.

We had a fun weekend in San Fransisco. The Polar Express thing was really, really cute. The whole story came alive during the hour train ride. They had everything from the hobo to the tap dancing waiters to the Christmas bell. The kids were in heaven! :cloud9:

It took us 7 hours to drive there. I was going beserk in the car for that long. I don't know how some of you drive to FL! :faint:

I didn't read back much but  for Katt and V. I'm so sorry for your losses.

I received a card from Michelle. And let me say, it didn't travel well to CA. :lmao: Poor card looked like it fell off the mail truck, got lost and found, ripped and taped before it made it to me. But it the Christmas greeting was warm and thoughtful.

Have a good week everyone! :wave2:
