Good morning, my pretties... :goodvibes
I'm tired from all that walking at Schlitterbahn last night. I guess it was worth the money. It was a ton lof lights and music. Since this is the first year, I'm sure it will get better each year. :thumbsup2

We have a full day of school today to make up for missing some on Wednesday for the famous craft party I'm hosting. So, I'll be around. :cutie:

Are you a Giants fan:confused:

Morning Fockers! Quiet around here on the DIS... only 4 of my subbed threads had updates. :confused3

IT has been very quiet...everyone must be busy with the holidays and stuff:confused:

Sooooo, did you see?! We did it - Gators are going for another Nat'l. Championship! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Congrats!:thumbsup2

I'm boredboredboredboredbored. Bored. And, bored.

Sadly I am like this everyday at work anymore, but with the economy I don't want to jump ship. Plus, where am I going that I get 5 weeks vacation, 12 holidays and 4 personal days a year:headache:

WHOA WHOA  ... how did I miss the NEW CROCK POT PURCHASE ??
Were there pictures :rotfl:

 Purchased at Target on Black Friday, I am sure it was reported;)

Trip home to Ky. was tough but I knew it would be. For a split second when I saw my Aunt Delorus... I thought... "MOM" . But she is much taller than Mom was... but it did make my heart jump .

Yes, we do need an official crock pot report---is he happy with his new surroundings?? (Does he know what happened to the "last one" ???;)

Black Friday purchase. Great Price! First time using it today.:thumbsup2

I really think she has some hyperactivity problem---can girls get that? What are the latest meds? My girls were never that wild.

Yes girls can have ADHD. Jimmy is currently on Concerta which seems to be working for him. We tried Adderall first but that did absolutely nothing.

Good morning, my pretties... :goodvibes

Hi Dawn :wave2:

Don't you have other dates BEFORE then ??

Now come on... you KNOW it's the Prettiest Tree you have EVER HAD !! :goodvibes

What kind is he having done ??

Any girls that I have encountered between the ages of 6 - 9 are SQUEAL-EY !!:scared1: :scared1:

He's having knee replacement---cobalt to match his pretty hip replacement! I told him he is turning into the bionic man! :lmao:

Hannah is beyond squeally--she had no girls come to the party--just 3 little boys who ran screaming behind her. She really worries me (and makes me glad I'm not planning any more kids!);)

Uh......wait a minute.........the newsletter did NOT mention crafts.....we are still having that 7 layer cake, right?

Morning Fockers!

Our electricity was out all night long and we freeeeeeezed! ;)

Apparently, some sort of accident that knocked out one of the main power whoseewhatsits.

That was pleasant.

Came on right before it was time to wake up. Jon even bunked in with me because he was scared of the dark. :sad2:

Good morning all. :yay:

I'm home sick today and if my DW finds out I'm DISing she will not be happy.

It looks like you all have been busy with life lately. :grouphug: I really loved the photos as we'll be there in a couple of weeks. I love DISMeets. :lovestruc

We did put up our trees and other decorations this weekend. We're not finished but have to do it soon as the Officer staff come over on Saturday. :cheer2:

Try to be carefully out there. Later. :grouphug:

You obviously didn't really read the newsletter... :sad2: It's a children's christmas craft party. Bring enough of your craft for 25 kids. The kids will make one of each craft, eat a snack and go home. Very simple.
Of course, tomorrow night is the mom's Christmas party, so you can bring a snack and a recipe and come to that! ;) Food, talking, and no kids- :yay:

It's amazing how dark it is when the power goes out. I hope you've defrosted now. :cutie:

Why should TE be any different than the other mom's in your group:lmao:

So each kid is making 25 crafts :faint:

I am missing one key ingredient here...who's bringing the wine!:confused3

Exactly! :rotfl2:

No, a lot of us have more than one kid. I'm bringing one craft that has enough for 25 kids to make. I have down 10 mommas, so they'll make ten or however many until they peter out. ;)

I wish. :cloud9: It's a homeschool moms meeting. I bought a brownie mix. Which will be pretty funny, since we're all supposed to bring recipe cards for the other moms. Maybe I should go look in my Rachael Ray cookbok and find something else. I hate to look like I don't have it all together (even though that's true! :rotfl: ) I can use the brownies for B's dance team party next week.

I have some left over Christmas trees from Oriental Trading!! I love that book--I can understand the crafts......mostly!

:lmao:

The irony of course is that I am "chief cheer mom" and I send out emails and texts constantly with updates about important stuff moms need to know! And then......I get calls like "wait---they need SHOES??" or "we had practice WHEN??" :sad2:

I don't understand why people choose to have their kids in activities, but not pay attention to what needs to be done. :sad2:
I'll be darned if my child is going to be embarassed because I screwed up and didn't send her knowing her lines or with a snack to a class party.
I should shut up now before I get all rant-ish. ;) :rotfl:

I know--it's annoying. I know we are all busy, and organizing stuff is my "thing" (reference past PTA obsession in TX!).............but I really make it easy for folks--I even post my newsletter on the bulletin board---the SAME one I email! So many moms just drop them off and never read anything, I guess. There are about 7 of us really involved tho and I have made good buddies there.

Chief Cheer Mom- who ha ha! :worship:
:lmao:
Hmm...........Supreme Cheer LEADER?? :lmao:
Oh BTW---I ordered these Cheer mom shirts for the group on ebay--this lady embroiders them with our girls hair color, skin tone, and uniform!!
Check them out--can't wait to get them for our first comp!

It's so cute! :lovestruc We had shirts made, but I'm wondering why I haven't gotten mine.
I ordered it so long ago, I can't remember what it looks like! :sad2: I do know that I refused to order one of the "mom" ones as they were all on baby tees. So, I ordered a "dad's" polo-style shirt. I think it's just got the dance team symbol with "Baylie's mom" under it.
Throw some jeans on and I'm set!

We're headed to Dallas Friday for a dance convention. Several of the choreographers from So You Think You Can Dance will be there- Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, Shane Sparks, Tyce Diorio... :cloud9:
I hope they don't mind me taking 50 pics of them! :lmao:

I have another attention DVC Members:

Whatever you do, don't stay in the AKV grand villa; you will be spoiled for life. :thumbsup2

I too put up a stocking for Bale, FYI.

I'll be mailing out my stuff tomorrow so watch out fockers!

Not much going on for me this week at all, some errands and maybe surprising KC with seeing Bolt on Wed (I have free tix and its free popcorn night, how's that for a cheap date). and Fri is 6 years that we have been together (the dating anniversary we call it) so we are going out for French food- oh la la!

Anyways off to lazily order some Chinese food for dinner!

Hi Kat! Sorry it's Bizzarro World at your house! LOL.
Your date with KC sounds sweet. Bob and I do that stuff too.... Oh, and HE'S HOME, HE'S HOME, HE'S HOME!!!! Ok, got that out of my system! Ha!

Hope your date is good!

Then again, I'd hate to deprive my post office of mailing a foreign card--they really enjoyed it last year when I mailed one to Jo!

It's really cold here! Made some good crock pot chili and cornbread tho!:thumbsup2

Yum, can't wait till my tummy can eat chili again! Yummy!
I remember the big deal the p.o. made over your card to Jo! FUnny! :goodvibes

Brack: Sorry you're sick!
Jen: Brrr chilly. Hope it's warm now.
Slate: Get well soon!
Katt: Glad you made it home safely in the snow!
Rosie: YAY for GD's cheer win!
Janet: Saved your recipes, loved your pics of Hershey and hope things are good!
Z: Don't worry. I'm lacking the Xmas cheer too... Don't know where it's at...:confused3
V: Yay for your football guys! (sorry, totally ignorant but glad you're happy!)

Hope I didn't forget too many. Anyone seen Jodi? Hope she's ok. She was doing WAY too much last week.
I'm still a bit tummy sick (just in case you all wondered...lol) but things are looking up.
BOB'S HERE!!! He came home yesterday, about 2 pm. We had a big turkey dinner last night and pumpkin pie. He looks great and was so glad to see the boys. He's all messed up sleeping wise though. Poor guy. :sad2:

SD went to school but then came home as he's not well tummy-wise yet either. Gus is at school. MIL goes back to FL today at 1pm. I am actually sad to see her go. She was such a help and we got along great. Guess it's official. It's the FIL that makes me NUTSO.

I am planning on doing those Xmas cards SOON. Really! :santa:

Hope you're all well, and those that aren't GET well soon!
