Saturday! :eek: Mine took 2 months. Lucky you. I can't wait to see what you chose.

2 months:eek: Maybe becasue we didn't special order anything:confused:

Can't wait to see, and woohoo on the good app't for Jimmy. :goodvibes

Thanks. THe psych is really pleased with how things are going?:woohoo:

Thanks, it's just so WEIRD. :confused3 I'm sad, of course, because it's sad regardless, but this is not someone I know well - but the rather impressive drama leaves me amazed and confused. :sad2: And feeling really badly for the people in the family who were close to him, if you KWIM.

It just shows what big heartrs you guys have:hug:

That's so what I do :rotfl2: Glad Jimmys appointment went well :goodvibes

I do that all the time. It drives us both nuts, but I don't want to buy the first thing I see and then hate it, KWIM?

Thanks Jo:goodvibes

:wave:

Jon is finally beginning to be on the mend. But, now he's afraid to go back to school because he knows that the bully will probably be back. :sad2:

I woke up today horribly nauseaus. It's bad. I'm at work, but I probably shouldn't be. I'll do just about anything to keep from throwing up. I feel really really bad.

Feel better Jen :hug: and one for Jon too:hug:

So the women that is covering for Bonnie calls me last night. And starts off with so since you are a relative I thought I could ask your advice. Apparently Bonnie has gone on about what a wonderful daughter I am and this woman truly thought we were mother/daughter (in my hearts we are). Bonnie is going crazy and is eager to get back to work and Erin wants my help to slow her down (which of course I will). She isn't released yet and still has to start physical therapy.

I take it all as good signs, but she needs to slow it down!!!!

OK, off to catch up else where, later Fockers

DO need the Fockers to go all momma on her:cool2:

Hi Janet! :wave: Can't wait to see the new furniture. That place has some nice stuff.

::yes::

Unfortunately I can't find what we got online to get pics. I am going to try again tonight when I have the model numbers in front of me. They had some really nice things and were way cheaper the Paymore and Flanigan:scared1:

I've always waited for Dec. 1st, but I think this year I might try to get stuff up for Thanksgiving. :santa:

We always put ours up the wekend after Thanksgiving!

They are working on the 2040 Olympics and the fact that they are allowing "Modified Athletes" to compete. These athletes compete against other modified athletes and are allowed to use performance enhancements, surgerys etc. to make themselves faster or better. They also have the "regular athletes" still in their own category. MEL:banana:

Really? I had no idea! What in the heck is this world coming to? Are we going to have Olympics for 'cloned' people too? :confused3
I went shopping today and bought a pair of jeans and a white T-Shirt, yep that's all :rotfl2: I so need some capris but could I find any? Nope, I'll need to look online I think :sad2:
YOU NEED TO GET OUT AND GET YOURSELF SOME MOM'S PANEL LOOKS. :)
::yes:: I'll second that.
Sure you will. Extra specially IF they see the Shamu show and sit really close to the water. :cool2:

________________
Just back from Ballet and Tap lessons. Tink had a fab time! I'm going to go do laundry and start organizing our clothes for the trip. It seems we won't be needing any capri's, shorts, short sleeve or any other warm weather clothes... here in MN! Baby it is COLD outside! 33 degrees today, with snow, rain and freezing pellets. :scared:

Anyone have a b-day cake, cookies, cupcake ideas for TINKS princess party?

Jon is finally beginning to be on the mend. But, now he's afraid to go back to school because he knows that the bully will probably be back. :sad2:

Oh, no. :hug: to him.

I woke up today horribly nauseaus. It's bad. I'm at work, but I probably shouldn't be. I'll do just about anything to keep from throwing up. I feel really really bad.

Feel better, hon. :hug:

CE...wanted to give you one more of these...:hug:

Thanks. D is still feeling really torn as to flying out there for the weekend or not.

Thank you.

Awww, that's sweet that you are being mistaken for family. How's Murph, speaking of?

I've always waited for Dec. 1st, but I think this year I might try to get stuff up for Thanksgiving. :santa:

I'm pretty adamant that it goes up the day after Thanksgiving. Not before, but I won't wait any longer, either. In fact, I'm a little bummed that if we do end up at my cousin's in MD for t-day, I'll have to wait a few more days to get my stuff out! ;)

Anyone have any thoughts on Jiko?

T liked it, I think. Where is she today? We've still only done Boma.

I'm sorry V... But I will take it over MN weather. I feel for you though. I do have to say that I would really prefer the 70's. We fly in on the 26th, please cold spell, move off of FL!

Your point? :snooty: :lmao: We like to decorate early in our house. We haven't put up the formal tree yet or the outdoors lights so pretty much just the family room is decorated.
Well that's OK then :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

:faint: :rotfl2:

Carrie - I forgot to say...you can definitely do Sea World in one day:thumbsup2
I agree :thumbsup2

I am Jo and a complete Disney Freak. My dh is a Golf Pro, but don’t ask him about golfing with the infamous Waldo. He’ll break out in a sweat. Speaking of sweating, my dh and I sweat a lot when we are sneezing and trampolining. :banana:

Aside from Disney, I am happiest when I am winning at golf. After a win I always yell, “Don’t mess with this Dixie Brit!” Then I chug down a nice cold fizzy.

I come complete with an entourage of approximately 40 people. My entourage is a necessity as they all have a specific job, ie; hair, makeup, and teaching me important things like how to tie a cherry stem with my tongue.

I have two lovely daughters. Thankfully they love Disney as much as I do or I’d have to tell them toodle pip.

No, no - I always look forward to a cold snap during our holidays trips, so I'm good! Though I could defnitely do without rain. It's just so funny - EVERY year, it's cold when I'm at WDW in Dec. EVERY year! Ask LL and s'late. ;)

Mel: Did someone send you the link to the FF page? If not I'll PM it to you.

[\QUOTE]

Nope. That would be cool, thanks Z!

I know what you mean. Some days I like doing nothing, but then some days I do nothing and feel really guilty about it, even if I need them. :hug: Have a good day, no matter what!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't do much today either but after tomorrow I DO NOT feel guilty. :goodvibes

Mel - Good for Bob pampering you, although if was me I would have beat you with the bottle of wine for doing somthing you probably shouldn't have been doing:rolleyes1

Yikes! :scared1: I'm scared!

Glad to hear about how great Jimmy is doing! It's such a relief isn't it?

Erich surprised me last night by decorating the basement/family room for Christmas. He put up our Disney/misc tree (no ornaments yet just the lights) and he strung the lighted garlands around the room. I was very pleased, usually I am the person in the family who has to take the responsibility of decorating for the holidays. :goodvibes

Hi Lessa! :wave2:
What a sweetie pie! You are so lucky. They're goofy but really great guys!

I woke up today horribly nauseaus. It's bad. I'm at work, but I probably shouldn't be. I'll do just about anything to keep from throwing up. I feel really really bad.
:wave: to everyone else.

Oh, no Jen! You poor baby! Go home as soon as you can and rest. I don't like vomiting either. :wizard: for feeing better!

Mel - how's the eye?:hug:

Hi Mo! My eye is ok today. A bit red but I don't think I did any lasting damage. I never even considered the raking a risk.....:confused3

So glad to hear that Bonnie's getting better. Having loving friends around helps!:confused3

Really? I had no idea! What in the heck is this world coming to? Are we going to have Olympics for 'cloned' people too? :confused3
OMGosh Jen! No, it's a theoretical problem! Not an actual one....HA! But, I wouldn't be too surprised if it happens eventually! :confused:

Baby it is COLD outside! 33 degrees today, with snow, rain and freezing pellets. :scared:
It's 40 here but we have the freezing rain stuff too! Blech!

Me too, CE. I won't even consider it until the day after. However, this year Bob will be in Japan until Dec. 6th so I will be waiting till then. And I am adamant about it all being PUT AWAY the day after Xmas....But, that's just me! :rotfl:

Hi V! I hope you're getting your schoolwork done, girl! :teacher:

The weather is a bummer, that happened to us during Thanksgiving a few years ago. Really, that's chilly for you guys but I think that if you bundle up it's not TOO bad! (And it gives you an excuse to snuggle up with Leo and drink Irish coffee.....wink)

***************

I baked two batches of chocolate chip cookies. One with regular semi-sweet chips and one batch with Carob and peanut butter chips for Gus (he can't have dairy in reg. chips). It smells so wonderful in the house.

I washed my sheets and did a load of regular wash. The only other thing I've done is lay around on the couch and watch bad tv! OH!!! They are bringing back the Real Housewives of Orange County!!! Yay! I have watched the NY one and now the Atlanta one but I just can't get into them. I'm so thrilled to have the original one back, it was the best one!

Bob got called in to the office. I am going to shower in a minute and go get SD from school. Then I have to run back and get Gus too!

OH NO Jen! You cant be getting sick. I`m sorry..:hug: take care of yourself..
And what do you mean the bully will "PROBABLY BE BACK!!" :eek: :mad: What happened?

Ed - put it away for Disney, and work on changing his mind;)

OK, off to catch up else where, later Fockers

Thanks for the encouragement Mo. :goodvibes Its only a $200 deposit due Nove 14th. its on hold right now. so I may just put that down. Hes worried about our cars and saving and paying bills. and he says we cant keep spending 3 grand everyyear, to go to Disney. he also wants a new flat screen TV. :guilty:

Glad to hear that Bonnie is doing much better!!!

Off to do some laundry and make myself usefull. before we go to the gym..

I'm starting to strongly detest the planning process. We were gonna get the DxDP for 2 nights and DDP for 2, but I can't find enough TS places to use up the credits. I know, I should have booked earlier, but 1. we didn't know how many were going and 2. I'm just tired of planning it all out. :crazy:

i completely understand. i like to just do whatever i feel like doing on a given day. i know that's completely different than the focker way, but i don't like having to be in a certain place at a certain time. we're always late for our dinner ressies!! :lmao:
OK, nearly everyone is gone, but I need to share this with my peeps.

We got a call from D's mom tonight, and it was just before we were trying to get the boys in bed, so we both kind of groaned, but I said, "Oh, she's probably calling to say 'Happy Anniversary'" and D agreed, so he answered.

It couldn't have been further away.

D's cousin - our age, 36 - has been killed in northern CA. He may have just been murdered, or part of a murder-suicide - and sadly right now we don't know if he would be the murderer or the victim.

It is SO unbelievable. He is not violent, a super lefty liberal, so the gun thing is bizarre, if it was him. Happy, still getting new friends on Facebook (to the point where he has two new friends as of about 2 hours ago, which is just creepy, though I'm sure they don't know), just made a lot of money on Apple stock... The only info we have right now is coming off a newspaper, which basically is saying the police think it was him, but they are "waiting on gunshot residue" to be sure. The neighbors and even the girl's (other victim's) sister say that they had not an ounce of scary relationship issues, no one can believe it, so we're trying hard not to, you know?

I don't even know where to go with this.

We weren't super close to him, at all, but we were oddly just discussing him last night, as he had a lot of fun at our wedding. This happened either sometime over the weekend or yesterday, but they just released the ID's today to the media, and we just found out, obviously.

D is hurting. He doesn't know what to believe and then he's still sad, no matter what.

Everyone send the good thoughts, OK? Even if the cousin is the bad guy? Thanks.
omg ce. that's is so horrible. i'm thinking of you and your family!!:hug:

I really got behind here, didn't I?

Mel - Any update on the adults only trip? Glad to hear your eye is mending well. :thumbsup2 to SD for choosing a drug-free life.

Dawn - Feelin' any better yet? Never feel guilty for living your life the way you want. We all work hard. If you want to go to WDW for your fun time, you do it! April/May will be beautiful too!

Angela - Good shot of you and Kat. Night Ranger sure brings back a lot of memories.

JV - Feet and ankles still OK? Don't feel bad about keeping up - I can't either.

G-Luv - Poor Jon! I hope he gets better soon. Any news on the bully front?

Mo - Prayers to you and your second mom, Bonnie. Sounds like she is bouncing back. How's Murph?

Jo - How could anyone not like a golfin' momma Focker with a British accent?
And congrats on your cup and gifts!

Kat - Glad you're back! Sounds like you had a great time at F&W. Sorry you are still not feelin' good.

T - OMG! I could never get ahold of BFF, Rockie, when she was a troop leader. I even helped her with one of her meetings when I visited her. Nuts!

TE - I would like you to know I got 55% on your quiz. I did not cheat. I am 'barely in Dixie'. Ya know'd it ain't in how ya' talk though. It's what's in that there heart o' yurs!

Z - Good catch on the $50 charge.

Slate - :hug:

CE - Happy Anniversary and sorry about D's cousin.

Janet - Are you going to show us pics of the new funiture and paint job?

Rosie - Prayers to the family of your consumer.

Jodi - I'm further north than you too. (See TE above.) Can I come to California with you?

Rachel - Get well soon!

Howdy-do to the Tiggers and Brack!!

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

It's been cold and rainy here in central dullsville. I was able to get my home cleaned this past Sat. It was raining and Doug was at work. We had a B-day party on Sunday for one of his great nieces.

I'm still waiting on a contract through my e-mail from the owner of the cabin we're renting at Christmas. I'm trying to decide if the Biltmore mansion is worth the price tag of $68/person. We will be 2 hrs away from it also. Anyone been there?

I'll try to do a better job of keeping up.
Have a good day all!!!!

28.gif
hi kristel!!

No. I'm on hold for now. I REALLY can't decide whether to go to WDW or Vegas for our alone trip. That's bad....right!?

SD is doing great and he is making plans with a friend for the weekend. Apparently, there was some issue with drinking at this friend's house a couple of months ago. SD wasn't involved and he let his friend know that he was Pissed!!! He said, "Mom, I don't want him to do that stuff when I'm there!"
The kid in question has the WORST parents. From outside I'm sure everyone thinks they're GREAT parents! Unfortunately, we know the ugly truth. That huge house and new cars etc. are masking completely checked-out parenting! They tell their kids on Friday, "We aren't going to be around this weekend. Find somewhere to GO." I wish I were lying. So sad.
The only reason I haven't shut this down completely is that he's SD's BEST friend and he thinks that it's better for his friend to have a good influence. MY son, always worrying about how other people feel!!!

So, you may ask yourself, why am I letting this continue? Well, probably because I really worry about what kind of kid he'd be if SD WASNT his best friend. He'd have nothing!

*******************
Getting Gus off to school. He has Future Problem Solvers today. That's a group of talented/gifted 5th grade kids that they hand-pick from around the district to work on a "Future Problem". They are working on the 2040 Olympics and the fact that they are allowing "Modified Athletes" to compete. These athletes compete against other modified athletes and are allowed to use performance enhancements, surgerys etc. to make themselves faster or better. They also have the "regular athletes" still in their own category. The kids have to work out what type of issues would arise from this scenario. And brainstorm solutions! It's pretty cool!

Bob is working from home! I plan on laying on the couch all day!

Hope you guys are doing great!

Has anyone seen Janet!? Where is she!?

MEL:banana:
mel, you are so lucky to have such a good, caring child!! that is so sweet he wants to be a good influence. maybe it's what his friend needs right now. that must be hard on you though. :hug:

As for me, I'm slowly improving each day. We'll see how today goes. I have an appointment at 2 today for a new GYN who specializes in hormone replacement and balancing them. So, I'm excited. I've heard really good things about her. :yay:
C's in my bed watching t.v. with a tummy ache. I hope it's nothing. :sad2:
glad to hear you're getting better.

Good Morning All!!
hi rosie!

We play all year, except maybe a couple of days when it's too wet or very occasionally snow!

I went shopping today and bought a pair of jeans and a white T-Shirt, yep that's all I so need some capris but could I find any? Nope, I'll need to look online I think

wow, doesn't it get pretty cold??? good luck with the online shopping.

Thanks guys!:hug: I called and apparently they put a hold of $50 when you open a tab. How freaking stupid. :headache: I just have to make sure it's reversed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning all!
Another lazy day for me. I like, but don't like lazy days only because I feel like I waste the day. They're quite relaxing though. :teeth:
hi z! glad it was something simple!! i'm sure they'll reverse it!
Morning all! I only made it 2 pages back and don't have time to reply to all, so here's for my posse: :grouphug:
I'm so sorry sweetie. Hang in there, and know we're here for you! :hug:
YES, worth every penny if you enjoy architecture, interior decor, gardens, farming, wine or any of the above! :thumbsup2 We always spend a full day, touring the house first, then the gardens, have some lunch, then tour the farm areas and winery. A lovely day!
hi v!!
Yesterday was crazy busy. We got up and went out Furniture shopping around 10am. Went to AMerican Signature Furniture and saw somthing we really liked, but of course we didn't want to buy the first thing we saw. We headed over to Raymour and Flanagan to see what they had...NOTHING! Blech, ugly, not even anything I would Tinkerbell sleep on!. By that time it was lunchtime and Jimmy had a 2:30 appointment with the psychiartirst to get the med levels. We went to Ruby Tuesday for lunch and discussed our options (Pointing out at this time that we had no meds left for Jimmy. He did great the whole day, just one or 2 little episodes). We went to the psychiatrist who is very pleased with Jimmy's progress and did not up the dosage, as based on what we told her the teacher told her he seems to be doing well. After that we headed to Macy's to look at more furniture. Nothing in the color(s) we wanted. So guess what we did next...............
Yep, went back to American Signature Furnitre and ordered the set we liked to begin with:headache: I will try and find pics of it online and post them later.
They are going to deliver it next Saturday (22nd)...just in time for Thanksgiving. I still have to pick out an area rug and some curtains, but at least I will have furniture for Thanksgiving. I am going rug and furniure shippong tonight!
Chat with you all later!
can't wait to see pics!!! and great news on jimmy!!!:goodvibes
oh jen, feel better!
So the women that is covering for Bonnie calls me last night. And starts off with so since you are a relative I thought I could ask your advice. Apparently Bonnie has gone on about what a wonderful daughter I am and this woman truly thought we were mother/daughter (in my hearts we are). Bonnie is going crazy and is eager to get back to work and Erin wants my help to slow her down (which of course I will). She isn't released yet and still has to start physical therapy.
I take it all as good signs, but she needs to slow it down!!!!
she's very lucky to have you!
Aside from Disney, I am happiest when I am winning at golf. After a win I always yell, “Don’t mess with this Dixie Brit!” Then I chug down a nice cold fizzy.
I come complete with an entourage of approximately 40 people. My entourage is a necessity as they all have a specific job, ie; hair, makeup, and teaching me important things like how to tie a cherry stem with my tongue.
I have two lovely daughters. Thankfully they love Disney as much as I do or I’d have to tell them toodle pip.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Anyone have any thoughts on Jiko?
Good food, lovely atmosphere, much quieter than Boma. :thumbsup2
I'm pretty adamant that it goes up the day after Thanksgiving. Not before, but I won't wait any longer, either. In fact, I'm a little bummed that if we do end up at my cousin's in MD for t-day, I'll have to wait a few more days to get my stuff out! ;)
Me too. It takes so long to put up, I want to enjoy it as long as possible. But the day after Christmas, I'm ready to out it away too. :thumbsup2
