CE- I am so sorry for what you and D are going through right now. No matter if he was responsible or not, it's still a loss for your family. :hug: I hope you can get some answers soon. :hug:

Thank you. :hug: It's just so unbelievable. :confused3

As for me, I'm slowly improving each day. We'll see how today goes. I have an appointment at 2 today for a new GYN who specializes in hormone replacement and balancing them. So, I'm excited. I've heard really good things about her. :yay:
C's in my bed watching t.v. with a tummy ache. I hope it's nothing. :sad2:

Oooh, good for you on the appointment, hope C is OK. :hug:

Good Morning All!!

Hi, Rosie! :wave2:

***********************************************
Well, so far a whole lot of nothing this morning.

D has fixed the garage door - the wire to the sensor that stops it if something is in the way must have fallen off the ceiling where it was tacked. It then apparently got caught in the wheels for the door itself, and sheared the wire right in two, so that the door would go up, but wouldn't go down, as the sensor thought something was in the way, but it really just wasn't connected. I could "force" it down by holding the wall button until it got to the floor, but it was a pain.

D just needed to splice the wire and retack it, so that's good.

And now I think he's working on replacing Woody's bike tire.

I have done the crossword and read the paper, done some more searching for news online (nothing new) and done a little research on Wii games.

Buzz's class time for the school book fair is from 12:30 to 1:00 today, so I'll probably head over there for that. We have the boys' yoga tonight, and then the parent-teacher conferences. Fun! ;)

Z- That totally SUCKS!!! Smart girl for watching your account closely.

i hope you get it straightened out with little trouble!

Thanks guys!:hug: I called and apparently they put a hold of $50 when you open a tab. How freaking stupid. :headache: :mad: :sad2: I just have to make sure it's reversed.

D's cousin - our age, 36 - has been killed in northern CA. He may have just been murdered, or part of a murder-suicide - and sadly right now we don't know if he would be the murderer or the victim.

:eek: OMG! :hug: For you and D, I hope everything gets straightened out.

I'd better :rotfl2: The photo shoot this year is at Epcot, should I suggest they do mine whilst riding TT? :rotfl2:

::yes:: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Mel: Did someone send you the link to the FF page? If not I'll PM it to you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning all!
Another lazy day for me. I like, but don't like lazy days only because I feel like I waste the day. They're quite relaxing though. :teeth:
I'd better :rotfl2: The photo shoot this year is at Epcot, should I suggest they do mine whilst riding TT? :rotfl2:
::yes:: It would be the most appropriate and fitting! ;)
OH CE how terrible and even worse that you don't really know what's happened, I hope you find out soon :hug:
Thanks, I do too. :hug:
I'm sorry CE because it's horrid what's happening but that sentance did make me laugh :rotfl2:
I know, but it was kind of funny. We were all set to open a good bottle of wine and so forth, :rolleyes1 :lmao: but kind of sat around shell-shocked, instead. Though we did eventually drink the wine...
Not for a day or two :confused: Janet where are you??????????
Yeah, she's missing. I know she was maybe furniture shopping yesterday as they all had the day off, but...
I went shopping today and bought a pair of jeans and a white T-Shirt, yep that's all :rotfl2: I so need some capris but could I find any? Nope, I'll need to look online I think :sad2:
You'll probably have better luck - it's not really capri season anymore (well, except in Florida), huh? :hug:
:eek: OMG! :hug: For you and D, I hope everything gets straightened out.
Thanks, I think we'd like ANY answer, even if it's not the one we want to hear - it's just too weird not knowing.
I know what you mean. Some days I like doing nothing, but then some days I do nothing and feel really guilty about it, even if I need them. :hug: Have a good day, no matter what!
Morning all! I only made it 2 pages back and don't have time to reply to all, so here's for my posse: :grouphug:
[Thanks for letting me get that all out. :grouphug:
I'm so sorry sweetie. Hang in there, and know we're here for you! :hug:
I'm trying to decide if the Biltmore mansion is worth the price tag of $68/person. We will be 2 hrs away from it also. Anyone been there?
YES, worth every penny if you enjoy architecture, interior decor, gardens, farming, wine or any of the above! :thumbsup2 We always spend a full day, touring the house first, then the gardens, have some lunch, then tour the farm areas and winery. A lovely day!
So, you may ask yourself, why am I letting this continue? Well, probably because I really worry about what kind of kid he'd be if SD WASNT his best friend. He'd have nothing!
And because you're in the friend's life, maybe if he ever needs help, he'll know where to go. :hug:
I hope you both feel better. :hug:
Oh Angela hopefully the conflict will be over by then. If he's away for such a long time does he get to come back for visits?
I don't think so but I'm not sure.
I went shopping today and bought a pair of jeans and a white T-Shirt, yep that's all :rotfl2: I so need some capris but could I find any? Nope, I'll need to look online I think :sad2:
I always shop at Talbots but I don't know about their int'l shipping. Unless you have them shipped here.
You should so be a travel agent! I knew I wanted to go but now I must. :goodvibes
OK, nearly everyone is gone, but I need to share this with my peeps.
We got a call from D's mom tonight, and it was just before we were trying to get the boys in bed, so we both kind of groaned, but I said, "Oh, she's probably calling to say 'Happy Anniversary'" and D agreed, so he answered.
It couldn't have been further away.
D's cousin - our age, 36 - has been killed in northern CA. He may have just been murdered, or part of a murder-suicide - and sadly right now we don't know if he would be the murderer or the victim.
It is SO unbelievable. He is not violent, a super lefty liberal, so the gun thing is bizarre, if it was him. Happy, still getting new friends on Facebook (to the point where he has two new friends as of about 2 hours ago, which is just creepy, though I'm sure they don't know), just made a lot of money on Apple stock... The only info we have right now is coming off a newspaper, which basically is saying the police think it was him, but they are "waiting on gunshot residue" to be sure. The neighbors and even the girl's (other victim's) sister say that they had not an ounce of scary relationship issues, no one can believe it, so we're trying hard not to, you know?
I don't even know where to go with this.
We weren't super close to him, at all, but we were oddly just discussing him last night, as he had a lot of fun at our wedding. This happened either sometime over the weekend or yesterday, but they just released the ID's today to the media, and we just found out, obviously.
D is hurting. He doesn't know what to believe and then he's still sad, no matter what.
Everyone send the good thoughts, OK? Even if the cousin is the bad guy? Thanks.
:hug: :hug:
:wave: Popping in! Jon's still lousy...but no vomiting in a few hours. :woohoo:
No school for at least another day or two.
:faint: Tired!!!!
Hope everyone is okay...
Feel better Rach!
Keep your eye out of the leaves Mel!
:hug: :hug:
Dinner was good last night.
Morning back to you, and everyone else around this AM. I'm in the same general boat on catching up. :grouphug: for y'all.
I'm working from home today as DD11 is home sick. :sick: Work has been pretty slow the last month or so. :sad2: I got a project in on Monday, so I've got to move on it so we can pay the bills, and hopefully, save a little towards the June trip. :thumbsup2
PS:
T - Try to tag up with Mrs. T at some point on the Brownies. She's been a leader for a while (and a service unit director). I'm doing my first stint as an assistant den leader for DS6's tiger den.
:faint: Disappear for 1 short day and I have to catch up on 10 pages:eek:
Hi everyone :wave:
Yesterday was crazy busy. We got up and went out Furniture shopping around 10am. Went to AMerican Signature Furniture and saw somthing we really liked, but of course we didn't want to buy the first thing we saw. We headed over to Raymour and Flanagan to see what they had...NOTHING! Blech, ugly, not even anything I would Tinkerbell sleep on!. By that time it was lunchtime and Jimmy had a 2:30 appointment with the psychiartirst to get the med levels. We went to Ruby Tuesday for lunch and discussed our options (Pointing out at this time that we had no meds left for Jimmy. He did great the whole day, just one or 2 little episodes). We went to the psychiatrist who is very pleased with Jimmy's progress and did not up the dosage, as based on what we told her the teacher told her he seems to be doing well. After that we headed to Macy's to look at more furniture. Nothing in the color(s) we wanted. So guess what we did next...............
Yep, went back to American Signature Furnitre and ordered the set we liked to begin with:headache: I will try and find pics of it online and post them later.
They are going to deliver it next Saturday (22nd)...just in time for Thanksgiving. I still have to pick out an area rug and some curtains, but at least I will have furniture for Thanksgiving. I am going rug and furniure shippong tonight!
CE - :hug: about D's cousin.
Katt - :woohoo: awe definitely have to try and plan a little meeting time. Our dates are the 18th to the 26th of August. Is this the OKW trip?
Kat - Welcome back, but I haven't been around for a ocuple of days so I really can't help catch you up! Hope you are feeling better:hug:
Jen - Hope Jon is better:hug:
Jen2 - Keeping you in my thoughts until test results come back!:hug:
Brack - Hope you enjoyed your night alone!:thumbsup2
Mel - Good for Bob pampering you, although if was me I would have beat you with the bottle of wine for doing somthing you probably shouldn't have been doing:rolleyes1
Dawn - Glad A made out ok at the Dentist:thumbsup2
V - Hope you got lots of schoolw work done
T - HAve fun at your troop meeting!
Chat with you all later!
Can't wait to see, and woohoo on the good app't for Jimmy. :goodvibes
CE - :hug: about D's cousin.
Thanks, it's just so WEIRD. :confused3 I'm sad, of course, because it's sad regardless, but this is not someone I know well - but the rather impressive drama leaves me amazed and confused. :sad2: And feeling really badly for the people in the family who were close to him, if you KWIM.
CE - I am so sorry to hear about the tragedy that has struck your family. :hug: That is a horrible thing to go through no matter who ends up being at fault. :hug:
Angela - I know how you feel, my Dad was sent to Afghanistan for 6 months 2 years ago, the thought of it made me sick. My dad has been in the military all my life but that was the first time he had ever been in a war zone. Here's hoping that he won't have to go. :goodvibes
Erich surprised me last night by decorating the basement/family room for Christmas. He put up our Disney/misc tree (no ornaments yet just the lights) and he strung the lighted garlands around the room. I was very pleased, usually I am the person in the family who has to take the responsibility of decorating for the holidays. :goodvibes
Aww, nice! Good brother! :goodvibes
:wave:
Jon is finally beginning to be on the mend. But, now he's afraid to go back to school because he knows that the bully will probably be back. :sad2:
I woke up today horribly nauseaus. It's bad. I'm at work, but I probably shouldn't be. I'll do just about anything to keep from throwing up. I feel really really bad.
CE...wanted to give you one more of these...:hug:
:wave: to everyone else.
H Fockers -
CE - :hug: :hug: :hug:
Kristel - is the Biltmore the one from Being There, if so I would love to go one day.
Ed - put it away for Disney, and work on changing his mind;)
Mel - how's the eye?:hug:
G-luv - hope Jon is doing better and for you I hope you are feeling better too :hug:
OK, that's about all I saw.
**********************************************
So the women that is covering for Bonnie calls me last night. And starts off with so since you are a relative I thought I could ask your advice. Apparently Bonnie has gone on about what a wonderful daughter I am and this woman truly thought we were mother/daughter (in my hearts we are). Bonnie is going crazy and is eager to get back to work and Erin wants my help to slow her down (which of course I will). She isn't released yet and still has to start physical therapy.
I take it all as good signs, but she needs to slow it down!!!!
OK, off to catch up else where, later Fockers
Hi Janet! :wave: Can't wait to see the new furniture. That place has some nice stuff.
Awww that was nice of him. :goodvibes
Jo, a lady I work with already put up all her Christmas lights. :eek: :laughing:
I've always waited for Dec. 1st, but I think this year I might try to get stuff up for Thanksgiving. :santa:
