:rotfl:

Today I am going to the "yearly fun visit" with the Dr. :scared1: and I have to have the Oral Surgeon check out my wisdom tooth spot. One side is really really sore! :sad2:
Sounds like one busy day. I don't like shoes on my couch either.

Single Digit Dance:banana::banana::banana:

Happy Birthday Debra!!:dance3::yay::banana::cool1::cheer2::flower3:
Thank you and congrats on the single digit dance!!!

Well I've done all my ironing, done some questions, caught up on my blogs, catching up here, I'm running out of things to do :rotfl2:
I need some ADRs made if you are just looking for things to do LOL

I'm going to pick up my babies today! I miss them. :lovestruc
:yay:
Good luck to B! and good luck to you on staying with the MIL LOL

How is everyone today?
Hi Slate!

I don't know about you, but I will be glad when school is over. I never realized how much school takes up time!

I wonder sometimes if we would have more time if we homeschooled! It seems that the busy hours are between 4 and 7. I wish I could have a helper for just those hours. Yesterday I was thinking "Just another 10 years and Alpha will be driving" LOL

Guess what...it's not raining
Hooray for the good weather.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBRA

Thanks Janet!

Nothing new here. I need to get some writing done at work and I'm totally unmotivated. :surfweb:
That has been me for the past 4 months. And my boss keeps reminding me I have my review next week :headache:

party:Happy Birthday Debra!!!party:
Thanks V!

Wow! It took me two posts just to get caught up! Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes everyone!
My friend wants to eat Japanese food during our girls weekend in Orlando. Any suggestions for a Japanese rest. outside the themeparks?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEB!!!!

And greetings from Ohio.:goodvibes It was a long drive yesterday, but pretty. We went through the Smoky Mtns. which was nice, but my southern blood and lowcountry sensiblities made me chilly and my ears kept popping. :confused3 It's amazing how quickly one adjusts to where they live.

The teams are off to the Air Force museum this afternoon, then it's two straight days of 400 kids giving research presentations and running their robots through the obsticle course. I have lots of Tylenol packed :thumbsup2

I hope everyone is doing well. I'll check in again later.

:flower3:

Hey Kate. Glad you made it safely! Have a great time and good luck to #1:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

My company arrived yesterday without incident. Well, until we got home and I was preparing dinner and looked over to see NOT ONE OF THEM, BUT BOTH with their feet (STILL IN SNEAKERS) up on my couch! As Dawn would say, I almost flipped my ****e. HOLY CROW. I mean, I realize that I'm sort of fanatical when it comes to cleaning house, but WHO does that?????!!!!!!
So, I grabbed my phone and ran downstairs and frantically texted Bob and told him if he didn't come home IMMEDIATELY from work I'd leave. :)

Yeesh, thats just not cool. I hope Bob came home and fixed that.

I'm going to pick up my babies today! I miss them. :lovestruc

I hope you figure everything out soon, it must be frustrating to wait on a date.

How is everyone today?

Not bad, and you?

Guess what...it's not raining:yay:

Is it Friday yet:rolleyes:

Thank goodness for no more rain, at least for now. holy crow you have a busy day, good luck!

Hope everyone has a great Thurs.! :cheer2:

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBRA!!!

And congrats to me for getting it right finally. lol.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
I have a few min before I have to leave for my interview so I thought I'd catch up. I threw my hair up because it's HOT out and the frizz is abounding! I just need to throw on my clothes and go. The walk is like 6 minutes from here. I'm kinda nervous. I hate interviews. PLUS i really wanna get it.

KC is of course still crashed out and prob will be when I get home. Although I promised him breakfast so the smell of Dunkin Donuts may awaken him later.

Off I go...think good thoughts for me at 11:15!

Have a great day everyone!

Happy birthday debra!:cheer2:

Im off to take my monster text! had to get up 30 min early so not to be late.:surfweb: ya...i like my sleep.

Quiz: who knows what a monotremata ornothorhynchidae is?

answer to be unveil later!

Yep he got them a few years ago although he often wears his prescription sunglasses!

At the daycare I worked at years ago one girl showed us how her mama dances and then grabbed a pole and started pole dancing :scared1:
Yikes :rotfl2:

I need some ADRs made if you are just looking for things to do LOL
OK :rotfl:

Hi to everyone! :grouphug:

Just doing a quick check-in to see if the thread has moved. Good to see it hasn't. :upsidedow

I'll try to check in later. :hippie:

How nice of Disney to send you more gifts ! This Moms panel is quite the thing !!!:thumbsup2
As for the latin word I am guessing it is one something as I am guessing"mono"is 1 but as for ! what my latin ranks right along with V's!!!
I am nowcut and dyed so no more grey hair !!:cool1:

Well that was the fastest interview ever! I had interviewed there before , about a year ago, but didn't accept the job. She remembered me and so it was easy talking. We chatted for about 5 minutes and that was that. She told me to call her Monday or she'd call me, whichever happens first!

Not much else going on today. I need to get to rite aid for those pics and KC is cooking dinner tonight (Pollo Guisado, i.e. chicken stew) so we need to go out for the veggies and potatoes. Otherwise it's a mellow day in the house of Garcia.

Jo- GREAT robe, I'd lounge in that thing all day!!!

thanks everyone else for the good wishes! :thumbsup2:hug:

looked over to see NOT ONE OF THEM, BUT BOTH with their feet (STILL IN SNEAKERS) up on my couch!

Now, I'm not fanatical, but no one does that in my house, either. I'm sorry, love.

I'm going to pick up my babies today! I miss them. :lovestruc

That's so nice of you. ;)

How is everyone today?

Good, how 'bout you, S'latie? :goodvibes

Have fun at tennis!

Thank you, I did! Except my chesticles held me back. :rotfl:

Yet, no mention of my text offering bail money:rotfl2:

:lmao:

HAve a meeting at 11:00, then another at 12:30. I am leaving early (3:30) becasue Jim has parent conferences tonight so I have to pick up Jimmy and get his homework doen, feed him dinner, showered, etc...because I have a School Fair Meeting at 7:00. Our neighbor is going to sit with Jimmy until Jim gets home. Is it Friday yet:rolleyes:

Good gracious, woman... :faint:

Although there are days... ;)

Trust me, I have them too.

- I'm THEM now! We're looking at mid-summer, Winter Break and Spring Break thanks to school schedules. When did I get all responsible-like?!

I hear you. :sad2:

I knew what they were I was just trying to be funny ;) We use heat pumps here I guess beacause we need the A/C in the summer.

I'd never given it much thought until we moved up here and they're everywhere. I grew up with furnaces - what the heck was a boiler? ;)

Alpha is like that. He makes up things to be afraid of. I just tell him to cut it out and he stops and goes on with whatever it was he was doing. However when Zeta is home it is a different story because he will baby him more and it will last hours and sometimes even weeks.

Yeah, I think I was lucky D wasn't home - he is actually nicer than I am about that stuff.

I missed that one but it sounds pretty funny

::yes:: I don't remember which V TR it was, but she was encouraging Leo to go meet the Country Bears prior to a parade, and he didn't want to go, so she asked him why. He said it was because they were going to eat him. I just find it hysterical that he'd think his mom would encourage that. :rotfl:

I have lots of Tylenol packed

I would hope! Good luck to #1! :)

And congrats to me for getting it right finally. lol.

Hey, long birthday celebrations are always good.

Im off to take my monster text! had to get up 30 min early so not to be late. ya...i like my sleep.

Quiz: who knows what a monotremata ornothorhynchidae is?

answer to be unveil later!

Good luck! I think it must be some sort of bird, with the "orno" part.

I got my Mother's Day pressies from WDW today and there was a Castle robe in there

Very nice!

Using my extraordinarily limited knoweldge of Latin, I'll go with Single-throated Eye-less Cockroach?!

Sounds reasonable...

Hi to everyone!

Hi, Z!

I am nowcut and dyed so no more grey hair !!

Woohoo!

Well that was the fastest interview ever! I had interviewed there before , about a year ago, but didn't accept the job. She remembered me and so it was easy talking. We chatted for about 5 minutes and that was that. She told me to call her Monday or she'd call me, whichever happens first!

Glad it went well! What's this for, again. I'm sorry I'm forgetful.

Hi z, Bye Z

Well that was the fastest interview ever! I had interviewed there before , about a year ago, but didn't accept the job. She remembered me and so it was easy talking. We chatted for about 5 minutes and that was that. She told me to call her Monday or she'd call me, whichever happens first!

Sounds like it went pretty well. Will keep my fingers crossed for you until Monday!:thumbsup2

Thank you, I did! Except my chesticles held me back.

:rotfl:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

2 meetings down:yay: Leaving work in 2 hours:woohoo: Not much else going on:thumbsup2

Jo- i love the robe! I guess now i should be shopping for a new robe since the puppy destroyed mine. That looks sooo comfy! You got that from the moms panel!? cool.

Using my extraordinarily limited knoweldge of Latin, I'll go with Single-throated Eye-less Cockroach?!
Well yes the mono is one, but not throated. its talking about the cloaca, or hole.

Thank you, I did! Except my chesticles held me back. :rotfl:

Good luck! I think it must be some sort of bird, with the "orno" part.

:rotfl: about the chesticles

Yes orno is bird...so what is a bird like mammal....

a platypus!:cheer2:

monotremata is for the 2 mammals that lay eggs, the echidnas and the playtpus. Its one hole because...well eggs and urine all come from the same place.

ornythorhynchidae is bird horny plate something or other. Bird beak and little horns for teeth= platypus

Lesson for the day!:teacher:

I think i did pretty well on the test, but there were definitely some rough spots. i had wierd dreams all last night about mammals and class, because i was up really late studying. I was probably muttering latin names in my sleep.:rotfl:

Its almost the weekend!:cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

Afternoon Fockers!

I could have sworn I quoted this morning but I guess not. Hi to everyone and  to all who need them.

I gotta run and get Lindsey in about 5 minutes and DR is next door playing so I gotta grab him before I go. I cleaned up the house today and hope to finish the rest tomorrow so I can relax this weekend and not feel guilty about laundry sitting in the laundry room or the floors not being swept and vaccuumed.

OK...off I go. Hope y'all are having a good day!

HI ALL!

Just dropping in to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEBRA!

Well that was the fastest interview ever! I had interviewed there before , about a year ago, but didn't accept the job. She remembered me and so it was easy talking. We chatted for about 5 minutes and that was that. She told me to call her Monday or she'd call me, whichever happens first!

::yes:: I've had quite a few goodies in the last few months :thumbsup2 Oh and thanks about the Platapus, the only one I know of is the duck billed one :rotfl2:

Hopefully the boiler will be finished tomorrow, he might hate me though as he drained the system today and I've just found 2 radiators that we had turned off so they haven't drained :scared:
