Well, a lot of people must be busy. Just us diehards!
Update in quotes, again.

Last week I was busy with the kiddos and then at the beginning of this week I changed cable/internet providers. Remind me never to do this again. But hey saving money is a good thing. :thumbsup2

I've been busy with Lindsey and her school. She had 3 field trips last week and then on top of that we had t-ball practice and her games started.

But all is going well around here and will be busy until the middle of May.

HELLO! You were missed!

Today is my busy busy busy day! Cleaning house and going to the gym. Also have to do some laundry and pay some bills. Tomorrow(FRI) I'm getting my two lower wisdom teeth out so I want everything done so I don't have anything staring me in the face while I recover!
MEL

Good luck with the teeth tomorrow!

Hi all! I'm a little weirded out-the first Swine Flu case was at the hospital that was down the street from me when I lived in Mexico in college.

I've been swabbing everything down. I feel like a paranoid nut. I don't know if any cases have popped up in Indiana or not.

I have to say, this is totally working for me! Remember the Motivational Bikini? Well, it has friends now. A whole drawer full of them, lol! First time I've felt good enough about my body to wear a bikini in 15 years.

Morning all! Not a lot going on here. Tomorrow is my first ADR day, though! I'm hoping to make all of them, but I'm reading that some people with split stays are having to call back for the second stay.

:woohoo: on your bikini drawer! Good Luck with the ADRs!

Nothing going on really gotta go to work for noon and have to do laundry and errands !! Hope everyone has a good day see ya tonite !! Jo you are still the BESTEST!!!

Hi Rosie!

I wonder what would happen if we got my incompetant people together with your incompetant people.
No word from Mo, I was actually going to try and give her a call at some oint this week...starting to get a bit worried.
I'm at work but today I am doing my:

double digit dance:banana::banana::cool1::cool1::dance3::dance3::cheer2::cheer2::yay::yay:
So it can't be a totally bad day right ::yes::

YAY!!!!!!

Got back from the hospital last night with Omicron and they asked the weirdest question when we were admitting him. They asked "What is the least severe form of discipline you give your child" So I said I give him a dirty look and clear my throat loudly. I hope I got that question right.

I've been reading but too lazy and busy to quote. I too am starting a diet. I started this morning. I am just so tired of my clothes being too tight and I don't have any money to buy new ones. So this only leaves one choice and that is to lose weight (or inches). I don't have a lot of time to excersise so it looks like dieting is it for me, Yuck! I would rather excercise. I am doing a no-sugar, low carb diet. I have found that after I go 3 days without sugar my body craves food less. It is like a natural appetite supression.

My goal is to be a comfortable size 10 (meaning I don't have to lie down to zip my pants and they don't leave red marks around my belly) in 5 weeks.

I don't get that question. I'm wishing the best for you on the 5 week plan!

I need to start a weight loss plan as well. My clothes are fitting tight and I can't go out and buy more and don't want to go out and buy a biggere size because its just depressing. I've been trying to get walks in but the kids want to come and then they get tired so I need to do it after they are in bed.

Its raining here and I don't feel like going out in the rain. DR is sitting here talking to his father on the phone and OMG some of the things coming out of his mouth. So far he's told my ex that we gave beer to Santa that I called my ex a bum and that my ex has to take DR shopping to buy me something for Mother's Day . I'm only getting the one sided conversation and what DR is saying but I can only imagine what my ex is thinking and saying. You gotta love kids and the way they view the world.

My best friend e-mailed me this morning telling me her brother and SIL are expecting. Her brother is like a brother to me and so I was excited for them. I e-mailed my best friend back and said to tell them I said Congrats and then said Congrats to her since she will now be an official aunt. She e-mailed me back and said she is not excited and would rather be a fake aunt to my kids. I swear she has jealousy issuses she has to work out. I'm sure by the time the baby is here she will be happy but seriously its getting a little childish.

OK...I'm off to make DR lunch and clean up a bit. He's now upset that he won't get to see his father until the summer time and is just not getting this.

I wish I could find some good motivation for losing weight. I wish you luck! DR is too funny. Congrats to your friend and her bro even if she isn't very happy about it.

When we were looking at shoes in a golf shop in Florida they did do sandal ones.
What a bunch of Rednecks! :rotfl2:
Been golfing again, I was hoping it would rain and we wouldn't play but no such luck. I played well though so that was fine just hope I didn't use up all my good shots before the scratch competition tomorrow. We played the away match a few weeks ago and won 3 - 2 so as long as we do that again we're through.

Very nice!

I just got a free dining pin code for this fall 10/2-11/24. I am going to see what they have open for fall break but don't tell my hubby.

Cool! Not a word!

So far a fairly productive day. I gave away the rest of my cat stuff (litter and some food) on freecycle.org and some lovely woman picked it up. We currently have someone else coming by to buy our DVD player we have had on sale for a few weeks! That just leaves a few ebay auctions and a set of sony speakers to be rid of! YAY!

We cleaned the windows today and swept up and did some other general cleaning.

I'm kinda cranky cause it's the week aunt flo should be dropping by, and KC is suffering the brunt of that- poor guy. I think that coupled with waiting on the vet to call about Bale's ashes is just grating on me.

Anywho, i'm gonna post my Mini TR in another post...coming up! [/COLOR]

I'm glad you are moving forward. You will have bad days when it comes to your furbaby. I wish I could tell you different. One of our doxys passed away 3 years ago and it still hurts. You gotta keep going. I'm sure when you are ready you will find another great kitty.

Your pictures are terrific. So when we decide to come to NYC, you and KC will be our tour guides, right? We'll have to include Scott somewhere.

HI Z! Glad I could help!

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
It's been raining buckets here on and off all day. We've got a good thunderstorm going on as I type.

I have to make a couple of appointments in the morning and call WDW on the tix for MNSSHP. Plus I need to update my original ressie with PH and ME.

If it is still raining tomorrow, I am cleaning and working on the 'man cave'. Very exciting!

I don't know if I'll get back tomorrow or not so I am wishing everyone a wonderful weekend now!

These are not my kids but it looks like something I'd do.

kay- I just found out about your kitty!:hug::hug::sad1:

I know it must be hard. I know how it feels to lose an animal suddenly or without warning. Until recently i had never lost a human family member. My grandpa died very very quickly after being diagnosed with cancer. It was terribly painful, but even through all of that i still find that i become overcome with grief more easily thinking about my pets. You dont necessarily think of them as growing old, and as your furbabies, you still have that feeling that they should always be around. No parent should ever see their children leave them. Hopefully the pain will lessen. What will you be doing with the ashes?

I already cleared a spot on our TV unit. I plan to get some pics blown up and put them with it. I am going to take a few of them and bring them to where his sisters are buried , at my friend's mom's house on long Island. He and his 2 sisters were found there, together so it's only fitting.

I'm glad you are moving forward. You will have bad days when it comes to your furbaby. I wish I could tell you different. One of our doxys passed away 3 years ago and it still hurts. You gotta keep going. I'm sure when you are ready you will find another great kitty.

Heck Yeah! We'd have a great time taking over the city!!!! :thumbsup2

I'm about to hit the bed and read some more (Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews) since KC is working a bit now. He needs to pc to monitor the issue, gotta love days off huh?! Anyways Sweet Dreams all!

I just got a free dining pin code for this fall 10/2-11/24. I am going to see what they have open for fall break but don't tell my hubby :rolleyes1
Wooohoooo

I was up early that morning, straightened my hair and was out the door around 10:30am. After a quick stop at Dunkin Donut's for some coffee (ahh life blood) I was on the subway on my way to NYC.
Photos not showing as always :rotfl2: I'll read when they show :thumbsup2

I think shes liking me more.
:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

What is the world coming too that you don't want to play golf!:confused3:lmao:
I know :rotfl2:

No, I haven't confessed to asking the question yet, but it was ME! LOL.
I want to plan a trip for SD's graduation in 2011 but I am not sure that he'll want to do that for his graduation. So, we're thinking maybe a cruise? Or maybe U.S. Just wondered if there were things that I'd missed that maybe a grad would like. :confused3
You know you know as much as me :rotfl2: I'll ask around :thumbsup2

These are not my kids but it looks like something I'd do.
8426re2.jpg
OMG :rotfl2:

Wow where is everyone??????

Beautiful sunny day here, I'm off in a little while to play the scratch team competition, I'm 5th off so hopefully will get their worst player :rotfl: David is also playing this morning, he's just been for blood tests because of the headaches and numbness and he survived :rotfl: Ellie starts cricket tonight so a busy day!

Carp...I had quotes but hit the wrong button on my computer and the screen went wacky. Let's see what I remember...

Jo - Good Luck with golf today.

Mel - Good Luck with the dentist today.

Kat - Great pics. Looks like a fun day! I like the soccer ball pic and how no one is even looking at the guy like its an ordianary day and they see it all the time.

 Hi Janet, Kristal, Debra, Angela and to who all I'm missing.

************************************************

It's raining like crazy here so it looks like DR and I will be in the house today. Linds has Fun Day at school today but will have some time taken off of her since she came home with a yellow card yesterday. The principal called me at home again last week due to Lindsey's behavior and she was told that if she had this happen again that there were to be consequences. Well, hopefully today she'll get it. :sad2:

I have to call a plumber to unclog our sink. I was cleaning out the fridge yesterday and the sink got clogged. I can't run the dishwasher, or even the washing machine, until it gets fixed.

Well I'm off to get DR breakfast before he dies of starvation.

Hope y'all have a good Friday!

Good afternoon Fockers! Got back from the hospital last night with Omicron and they asked the weirdest question when we were admitting him. They asked "What is the least severe form of discipline you give your child" So I said I give him a dirty look and clear my throat loudly. :rotfl: I hope I got that question right.
That's bizarre! I'd like to answer "Nothing. I don't believe in discipline, so he does whatever he wants. Have fun in there!" :rotfl2:
I have found that after I go 3 days without sugar my body craves food less. It is like a natural appetite supression.
YES! Me too - it's amazing what a couple detox days does.

How would they know???? They don't pull up your details do they?
Yep, with the new system you have to give your resort ressie number to get started. Depending on who you get, some will allow you 10 days worth of ADRs from the beginning of a split-stay, and others make you call back at the 90 day point of your second ressie. Read on to see how I fared...

I just got a free dining pin code for this fall 10/2-11/24. I am going to see what they have open for fall break but don't tell my hubby :rolleyes1
:banana::banana::banana:

Gorgeous! I love tulips.

Recently ive just been watching my calories and i think ive lost about 7 lbs.
That's awesome - congrats! :cheer2:

I'm not worried at all about the teeth. They're up and through the gums so no cutting, and no stitches. :thumbsup2
Good luck Mel!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

GOOD MORNING!!!! :teeth:

Guess who got ALL her ADRs this morning? Yep, ME!!! :woohoo::yay::banana: No problems with the split-stay at all.

The stupid system hung-up on me 4 times before I got through, but it was buttah after that. Yippee!

In other news, it's Day 7 of running a low fever and my head is throbbing. Oink, oink. :rotfl:

Happy Friday all! :grouphug:

Popping in to say Hi! on a slow day. Love Kat's NYC trip report. I didn't even know world of Disney was there! I will so hit it up on the next trip.

Really great pics!

Mel! You sound like you are feeling better, I am so glad.

I have been substituting like crazy. I guess the teachers have had enough of the kids by this point in the year. Have a great day!

Kat, Looks like a beautiful city. Thanks so much for sharing with us. My daughter Chi wants me to take her there oneday to see a show. Maybe for her 13th BD? Will you be my tour guide when we come?

What a weird question. I wonder what they would have done if you said you tied him to the bed and beat him with a belt:eek::confused3

Was it a sleep study he was having done?
Yes, very weird. Not a sleep study. He has been having tummy troubles (reflux). the Dr wanted to do a PH probe test where they monitor the PH levels in his esophogus over 24 hours. Then they did an endoscopy. The endoscopy said he was perfectly healthy but it will be next week before we hear about the PH probe test.

  for the double digit dance (a little late sorry)

Sorry if I missed a ton of you. I'm too tired to think straight. Thanks for all the well wishes for tomorrow. I'm not worried at all about the teeth. They're up and through the gums so no cutting, and no stitches. :thumbsup2
LY all.
MEL:banana:
Good luck today

I've been swabbing everything down. I feel like a paranoid nut. I don't know if any cases have popped up in Indiana or not.

Our safety officer just brought us a case of hand sanitizer. They canceled DD field trip today. And they cancelled any school games that requre travel. I don't know if they are overreacting or what.

I don't get that question. I'm wishing the best for you on the 5 week plan!

Thanks!

Cool! Not a word! I called and they said for two rooms at POP, 5 nights, 5 day tix, free dining plan would be $2800. My checkbook told me to say no. :sad2:

Wow that's going to be a pain for UK guests, if we book a package say with Virgin they give us their own code not a Disney ressie! Congrats on your ADR's :woohoo:

Then they did an endoscopy. The endoscopy said he was perfectly healthy but it will be next week before we hear about the PH probe test.

Where's my sporty Focker CE???? Miss you

Well I won the golf :woohoo: pretty easily too, there are 18 holes and I had won 7 of them when there were still 6 left to play so an easy match. The team won too so we're through :yay: One of my team after the match managed to spill their whole drink all over me though, it was a J2O (orange juice) so really sticky :scared: But at least it didn't stain :rotfl2:

Since I'm not sure how to post so you all see on FB, this is from a friend. :lmao:

Scroll down to the bottom left of your FB page where it indicates the language you've selected (English- US). Click on that and select English (pirate). Enjoy! ;)

Hey everyone!

Kat - love your NYC pics. Sounds like you had a great day.

Nothing new to post here. I've been taking the kids to dr appts, trying to get things together for Baby Girl and the school to start her on Speech Therapy.

Trying to wait patiently for our Wilderness and WDW trips. Of course WDW is the one we are really looking forward to.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Lori. Hope your plumbing problems get fixed quickly. I can't imagine not being able to run the DW or WM. :sad2:

I hate it when my kids say weird things to the X. He usually asks me about it and I then have to explain. Sorry about your friend not being happy about the baby. I am sure she will come around.

Thanks. The plumber should be here by this afternoon. At least I was able to laod the dishwasher and run the one load of clothes in the dryer. LOL I feel like I got something done today.

And yeah the ex thing. Sad thing is my ex doesn't even ask me to explain so that makes it somewhat worse.

Good morning. Today my daughter, Chi, is having cheerleading tryouts and I am more nervous than she is. Mainly because she is going to her dad's today and I won't get to comfort her if she doesn't make it or celebrate with her if she does :sad1:.

 Good Luck to her today and that must be so hard.

My kids will go with their father for the summer. I told Lindsey that she has to lose her first tooth before she goes so I can get a picture and the Tooth Fairy come here. It wasn't looking so good but she's got a bottom one that is loose so we'll see how many she looses before she goes. :rotfl:

Good Morning all!

It's been a busy week, for sure!

Waldo's doing fantastic! We're so happy with his progress and he's counting down the days until he can hit the golf course. Dr. says May 11th. ;)

I've got so many count downs going on here. Mo comes in 2 weeks!!! :cool1: I can't wait to see her! She emailed me yesterday, but didn't mention how her foot is behaving... anyone else hear anything?? :confused3

Tomorrow is my 90 day mark and I get to make those dining ressies.... we're trying 6 new restaurants this time and repeating 3. I'm a bit nervous, it's not like we're going out of our comfort zone or anything, but there are such mixed reviews on most of my choices. It's pretty much a crap shoot IMO. ;)

I've hit the gym everyday this week getting really good workouts, haven't checked the scale, but my jeans feel good, so that's a plus, right?

Hope everyone is doing great! Kat I loved your NYC pics. Evan wants to visit the Statue of Liberty, so I'm sure we'll be in NYC in a few years. ;)

Happy Friday! :flower3:

Trying to wait patiently for our Wilderness and WDW trips. Of course WDW is the one we are really looking forward to.

Isn't it annoying how we wait so long for ourt trips to get here and then they seem like they are over so fast:sad2:

Hope everyone is doing well.

You too:goodvibes
