Hello Fockers. :wave2:

:yay: :yay: Our counter offer was accepted this morning! :yay: :yay:

They did ask for our new dining table.

Is this normal for people to ask for your furniture???:confused3 Sorry maybe im missing something, or am just young and dont know a lot about buying houses, but to me it seems wierd. Any clarity for me please? BTW I love the house! Its sooo big!

Ok im way too tired to post a lot, so ill just tell you that there was a group of us that went to sacramento tonight and there was A LOT of trampolining going on.:scared1:

I have heard of it before but usually it is done with appliances such as washer/dryer/kitchen equipment. Never heard of people asking for actual furniture.

Trampolining

:lmao:

Dawn and Kat: Great pics! I'm so happy you found something, Dawn. And Kat, I'm really glad you didn't hurt your back! How's Bale doing?

Bale is doing well! he's on day 5 of his antibiotics and thank god he takes it with his wet food or I';d be force feeding it to him!

PROPS on biking that much! I really wish we had a stationary bike in the house, its one of the few things I know I can do as far as exercise.

Kat, it looks fantastic! Nice!

We had a nice pizza/sandwiches and watched Shrek 2.

Thanks! I love the Shrek movies- very funny stuff! Although the thought of Shrek the Musical makes me think of nails on a chalkboard. :rotfl:

Kat - The apartment looks great!

Night everyone!

Thanks and sweet dreams!

KAT has to have symmetry. They are officially clutterless after she threatened to shoot herself if they didn't get done today. Pictures of the refurb in Post # 2824. It looks so neat and organized. Great job!

Funny_Pictures_2985.jpg

Thank you very much! OK that pic made me LOL, I think it's the one way I could get KC to drink Diet Coke.

Kat, the apartment looks great. It amazes me how small the apartments are there, our apartment would be worth a lot there :rotfl:.

Sorry to be so long winded, I did it again :sad2:.

Yea for a studio we have a huge place actually. It's why we stayed so long. But we do have a carpload of stuff crammed in here!

Vent Away! I'm so sorry for Bill and the job! His is def lucky to have such a wonderful woman in his life!

Kat - the new decluttered apartment looks great!

Thanks! So whats new with you? Excited for the cruise?? I wish I was going on a cruise!

Hello Fockers. :wave2:

LUCKY! We def need to work on a NYC meet..... maybe the beginning of June?!

()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()

Well it's 4am and I'm awake. But it's only because I just couldn't last earlier and I fell asleep around 9:30pm and woke up an hour ago to KC still playing video games. OY. At least in a bit I will be tired again and won't sleep all day tomorrow.

Not much planned for the weekend at all, thankfully. Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous so we plan to at least take a walk after KC is off work. I plan to catch up on my DVR-ed shows while he works. Sunday we are buying a chair from someone on craigslist. We saw it at Ikea the other day and found it for half the price on craigslist! The Malung Chair PLUS we are getting the $39 footstool with it, for $75!! It's KC's new gaming chair and maybe my new reading spot! He is excited!

We have been doing well with saving money too, which is good. More cooking at home and no ordering out. Also cutting down the amount of things we are going out to do, thus the walk with no real destination. I'm glad tho, we got good deals on all our furniture so we saved in the long run.

Anyways I'm gonna answer some emails and get back to be, hopefully before the sun comes up. See you all tomorrow night!

So where the heck is KATT and is she ok?!

Just missed you Kat!

Tracy - Tell Bill I admire and respect him so very much for not giving up. I hope someone in the very near future sees him for his intelligence and dedication.

These little skits are so cute - and true!

Fingers crossed :goodvibes

I went to the gym after that and biked 8 miles. I figured it out and I biked 20 miles this week! That's amazing to me. :cool1:
Fantastic Mel :thumbsup2

She also got her uniform tonight. As soon as we got home she had to try it on. :rotfl: She gets to wear it tomorrow when we do Tag Day at the grocery store.
That's so cute :goodvibes

Well friends you may be on your own tomorrow. It was gorgeous here today. Of course I got to sleep through most of it. It should be gorgeous tomorrow. I'm gonna get up at noon. (I'm not off work until 6AM)
Enjoy the nice day :thumbsup2

He said he feels like he is going to school for nothing and that he thinks if an independent living center won't give him a chance that no one probably will. He said "but I have to try". He tries so hard it just breaks my heart.
Oh Tracy that's so heart breaking :hug:

I'm doing the Race for the Cure tomorrow morning and I'm meeting a friend at our church to ride together at 6:45 am! :scared1:
Good luck :thumbsup2

I do too Dawn. The house is beautiful!! I love the large windows and the bathroom
My incisions are all healed (TMI?) and I feel great. It's amazing that you could have surgery like that and just a week and a few days later you can bike 20 miles!
:yay::hug:

Linds had t-ball practice tonight an did really well.
Don't you love tball? and that is not awful about the other teacher. I think as parents we are just always trying to protect our kids :hug:
Hi everybody!

DEB had a good time in Chattanooga, minus some stroller issues and the price of food. Glad you explained the yours mine and ours stuff.
Thanks for the update and no problem with the explanation.
Now I have heard about Enchanted but not really sure what that is?

Hi everyone
Hi MrsK. :hug: So sorry about all that Bill is going through. It's such a shame. Have you thought about seeking legal actions regarding the discrimination?

I canceled my scrapbook date with my mom because I had so many things to do today. Now here I sit still in my PJs. :rolleyes1

Last night zeta and i went shopping for him some clothes because his new job has a more formal dresscode (his last job he wore flip flops and jeans :rotfl:) Anywho, he is 5 feet tall and finding clothes for his size are very difficult. Everything is just too big. Even after it is hemmed it just doesn't fit right because pants do not taper at the right point. I finally talked him into letting me find a professional taylor to have him some pants and dress shirts hand made. I know it will cost a lot but I hope it will be worth it.

What else is on my list today... oil change, more laundry, more housework, and weeding.

New stove is here and looks great !! :cool1:Judy just took Kyle to Baseball practise!:thumbsup2 this am she picked up a bottle for 24 hour urine collection and is wondering how to get the pee in there!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Morning Fockers!

UGH! I am so tired this morning! DR was up and down all night last night. He finally got back to sleep and then Lindsey woke up at 5 wanting to party. I swear that child refuses to get up for school at 6:45 on weekdays but is up at 5 AM on weekends. UGH! DR was then up at 7:30 for good. Yes, I'm tired!

We did Tag Day for Linds at the local grocery store. It was only for half an hour and it was fun people watching. I told Linds she had the cuteness factor going for because everyone that walked in and out of the store put something in the bucket for her. :laughing:

My sitter called right before we left and she'll be taking the kids off my hands for the night. I just need to clean up some and put some laundry away and I can then enjoy a peacful house. My allergies are killing me since I was outside last night and then again this morning so I'm sure a nap will be in order. No big plans for me tonight other than just watching some DVR'd shows or some movies on PPV.

Hope y'all are having a good Saturday!:goodvibes

Wow where is everyone? It's been a beautiful day here, Ellie is still outside playing. We're hoping to get to the safari park tomorrow if it stays nice, hopefully we'll get further this time than just packing the picnic like last week :rotfl2:

Afternoon All!

Well, I survived the race this morning. It was actually fun. Not sure exactly how many people were there, but it was crazy. People in pink for as far as you could see! I'm not sure what my time was because I don't know exactly what time it was when we crossed the official starting line. We probably finished the race in about an hour or an hour and fifteen minutes. The clock at the finish line said 1:48 when we crossed under it, but it was at least 9:30-9:45 when we finally made it to the starting line! Honestly you couldn't go much faster due to the sheer amount of people with strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, etc. I'll post some pics later on facebook though.

I got home around noon and just finished mowing the lawn. I figured since I had already walked so much, I might as well continue walking! Needless to say, I'm a bit tired now. Going to go take a shower and then lie down for a bit.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day!:cool1::cool1::flower3:

Okay, here's what I remember...

Kat...your house is lookin' fabulous darlin'.

Dawn...my goodness girl, that house is gorgeous! Good luck!

And Tracy...you know I hold a special place in my heart for that Bill o' yours. :hug: to y'all.

And that is the extent of what I remember.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let's see. I am sick. Jon is sick.
I'm trying to plan for our move to San Antonio. I'll be going down there in a month to find us a house. And I hope to be there sometime in June.
So, from now until then, my break is to pop in here to see y'all and then get to packing and planning for our big move.
I hope everyone has a wonderful, happy, healthy weekend. :hug:
:thumbsup2 congrats on your race!
Tracy-:hug:
Sorry if i forgot anyone. I read all the way through but last night i was a little loopy still and tired, so i didnt quote.
Marc just got home very late thursday night. he was supposed to be home for about 7 days straight because he traded shifts with someone. Well the someone got sick and yesterday afternoon he had to drive all the way back down to work again!:scared1: to top it off the guy who got sick is still in his probabtion period and hasnt passed his pack test. He has one more chance and if he doesnt he gets laid off. This means marc will have to cover his shift most likely. So he worked this guys shift, and then his own, and hell have to work the guys shift again!:headache: instead of having him here with me for a week hes gone for 2 weeks! I am so pissed at that guy right now!:mad:
Today is a really big day here in my town. Its already after noon and im still in the house!:rolleyes1 Davis is a small college town and everything revolves around the campus. Well campus revolves around picnic day... Its an open house for our campus and much much bigger than any homecoming. This is my first year not being in band so im not sure what usually goes on during the day. In band our day goes from 4:30 am to whenever the party ends late at night. It involves 2 parades and a 10 hour battle of the bands competition. Aside from band, the town is filled with alumni and pre-freshman. Crazy drivers everywhere! I've never seen so many cars and bicycle accidents! (its a biking town, last year marc had to care for a biker that got hit on picnic day until an ambulance got there!:scared1:) The general feeling of celebration and springtime is going on. Everyone is drunk...they start at about 8 in the morning! and ive even seen mud wrestling in the front yards of the houses down town. They fence off the yards and party outside while the parade goes by.
I would have gone out and partied with the rest of campus today, but seeing as my party partner was unexpectedly pulled away from me yesterday:mad:...Im going to the grand opening of best buy and the pet store in the next town over.:upsidedow
have a happy picnic day!
I'm watching Britain's got talent, I assume you've all heard about last weeks show with Susan Boyle :thumbsup2
I read through, but we're trying to get ready to go to dinner, so I'm in stealth mode again.
Tracy: :hug: Vent away, love.
Kat: Hi! Sounds like you're doing well.
Scott: Hi! :wave2:
Debra: sounds like a nice day - shopping is always good. ;)
Sam: I did immediately go "dirty" - love the activity! :rotfl:
Dawn: saw on FB things are going well. :)
Lori: glad you get a night off - the non-sleeping in on weekends happens all the time to us. :sad2:
Jodi: Great job! I bet you feel great! :goodvibes
Jen: Hi, sweetie! You've got a lot on your plate. :hug:
Hi Jo! Hi Rosie! Hi everyone!
*********************************************
I passed my boat exam this morning with no issues, but didn't much want to be up to do it. ;) Got home and the candle stuff had come in.
Then, we did baseball and have just been bumming around the house.
I have to go! See you later!
Just missed you Kat![/URL]
I passed my boat exam this morning with no issues, but didn't much want to be up to do it. ;)
Congrats!!
:banana: Our offer was accepted! :banana:
YAY!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!
*****************************
Not much going on here, still sort of cleaning little things here and there, trying to get the laundry together (it's a lot since we have been busy and haven't done any) and soon we are going to head out for a walk. I need a reading light to attach to my bookshelf and I also need some ice cream, not necessarily in that order.
Hope everyone else is having a great day! :grouphug:
:banana: Our offer was accepted! :banana:
:woohoo: Congrats!
Kat- ya best buy is a pretty big deal since its only 15 minutes away! I love best buy but the closest one to davis was in sacramento. probably twice as far.
Today i went to best buy and the new pet store. I think instead of the hedgehog i may go with a guinea pig. any advice?
I also went to target and got some gifts for my friends bridal shower and wedding that are coming up. Its my BFF getting married to our other close friend from high school. They are high school sweet hearts just like marc and I. We had a large group of friends and we were pretty much all like family. There was a lot of incest going on.:rotfl2:
I have a question for you guys. How much do you usually spend on wedding gifts. I was looking for bridal shower gifts and a wedding gift. I dont have too much money, but they are very close to marc and I. I just wanted to see what average is. Thanks!:thumbsup2
