I think once it's a done deal, he'll be fine. He does this with any big purchase. He really wants the stuff (the HD TV, the boat, the new dressers...) but then feels bad about spending the money. Since we're paying cash, I don't mind - I don't want more debt (we'll have to have car payments here pretty soon - one or the other of our vehicles is going to die soon, I just know it), but if it's something we want and can afford...

Chi and Omicron went to their dad's last night and alpha and Delta are going to their mom's tonight. I'm exhausted and as much as I will miss them I need the break.

I realized from something you'd said earlier that you were a blended family. Do all five live with you full time? How are your 6-year-old near-twins together? Mine are so different, it's hard to believe they ARE twins...

Well, showered up, got all pretty and went to school, but the teacher was out. She usually has them doing independent reading projects and stuff while I'm there, and then when I come in, she'll have something different each week for me to do. "This week, I'll have you give them high frequency words and they can use the whiteboards." "This week, play antonym bingo." etc. So the sub didn't know what to do with me, and since it's not the same every week, I didn't have anything planned, so I left!

My MIL was going to shower whilst I was gone, but she got a phone call from a friend who's a new grandma just before I left, and was still on the phone when I came back. So, she's showering now.

I don't know what else the two of us will do today. She said something about the gym, but I don't know if SHE wants to go, or if she thinks I really want to go and she's being nice. I don't want to go now that I'm showered and dressed nicely, made-up, the whole shebang, especially after we go to lunch. Maybe we'll just shop.

I need to make one more phone call for D, so I'll say "bye!" again for now.

. A&D go to their mom's and O&C go to there dads every other weekend. Tau always stays here which is funny to the older kids because they want to know when he goes to his other house? Oh and my neice (9) stays with us a lot so I claim i get her every other weekend and on all major holidays She is with me now as a matter of fact.

Then I didn't get to sleep quickly because D is starting to freak out over buying the boat. He does a lot of second guessing (thankfully, not when he's flying, but on big money decisions ) and so he was stressed and not sleeping well. (I think he'll be fine once it's done.)

I called my BFF earlier as she's a teacher I needed her to countersign Ellie's passport and she agreed and suggested we then went out for coffee. Since she went back to work we don't see each other as much so it was great to catch up

But wait... is this the worst places to try doing hair, or the places with the worst hairstyles? If the former, I'm SHOCKED no FL cities made it - humidity is teh devil!

I this was the worst places trying to fix hair. I to was shocked that no FL cities were on there. It gave a little blurb on why each city was picked and I know smog and pollutants (sp?) had a big part of it along with rain and humidity.

I'm also going to be calling Member Services this afternoon to reserve a studio at OKW. I can always cancel later if I find someone to room with. If not, I'll stay at OKW and not have to shell out any money.

I never even noticed you had two 6 year olds in there. LOL I usually just notice if people have boys or girls.

Thanks for all the input - I'm in agreement with the majority and will momentarily be typing "Kona" into the empty space for our Aug. trip's second night! Thus completes my first string ADR list. But, judging form some of the Dining posts lately, I'd better get working on a second string line-up, too.
