Hi all.

Kate - Yay you on being productive and NOT having any tornados:yay::yay:

Kat:hug: No advice, as others have said we all eventually have the same conversation.

CE - We've all been dopey at the Doctors at least once in our lives ::yes::

Mel - Thanks for posting a pic...I'm glad it looks like it did on the website:thumbsup2

Hi Kristel, Debra, Jo, Lori, Tracey, Angela, Rosie, Jo and everyone I'm sure I missed :wave2:

Yea he gets $75 a week extra for having it. It rarely rings thoi, but it's worth the extra $300 for the month to have it!

You have NO idea!

***********************************

VENT/RANT AHEAD:

KC called me on his lunch break today to tell me that a game/geek convention thingie is starting their registration today. The con doesn't happen until a year from now but no he has no choice but to go because he is pre registered, and had to spend $50 today. If he doesn't go $50 gone.

We have cut back on everything because he wants his precious TV, which can not afford. HELLO spending a friggin $1000 on one item is killing us. I told him we need to get the warranty plan on whatever tv as well, so thats more $ and I want to look into renter's insurance because having something worth that much in my house makes me want to insure it.

I am trying to plan a bare bones trip for my own birthday just so we can get away a bit and he cares more about his vacation to the convention, which is in Boston and I am basically not invited to because he is going to be at this con the whole weekend. What about our 5 year anniversary which falls a month before this con?!

He keeps on telling me the reason we are in debt is because he didn't say anything when I kept planning trips to WDW. I think I remember him coming too?! And having fun. So its even harder for me to tell him I am annoyed about this because I don't want it to becoming WW3.

URGH! He's on the way home now so I needed to get that out. I'm gonna play a little animal crossing and open up my gate so if anyone's on I'll be there.

Thanks for letting em vent. RANT OVER.

I would say then I am going to Disney in October but that really would not help the mattewr at all.

Renters insurance is a good thing to have.

What kind of TV? We have th bravia 42 inch and moving to the 55 or 60 something inch when we movee in 2 weeks. :woohoo:

Hope things went well when he got home.

Good night, Jo! :goodvibes
Morning CE, well just :goodvibes

CE, I always ramble at the doctor. Always. Then I leave feeling like a goof-ball. My blood pressure is ridiculously low. Like, stupid low. But at the Dr. I'm always "normal" and I end up going on and on about how unusual it is for me to fall within normal...white coat syndrome...only other time was when I was pregnant... I want to smack myself upside the head.
Are they doing anything about your low BP or does it always seem normal there?

Just popping in to say Hi! I don't have time to read or update today. :sad1:
I have to get to bed early and try to sleep since I have to report for training at 0700. That means I have to get up at 0530. I'm gonna watch House and Heros and hit the hey.
Hi Kristel :wave2:

Was it the big wooden rollercoaster? If so I thought that was scary when I was little :rotfl2:

when we movee in 2 weeks. :woohoo:
You moving?? Area or just bigger?

Did another coat of paint in the batthroom this morning, will it ever end  The girls are now baking something  that's what happens when all their friends are out so they don't have anyone to play with :rotfl2:

You got it right Kate...too many snow days so they shortened it. I guess its better than us going into June though. Lindsey's last day of school will be May 20 and DR's last day will be May 27.

::yes:: Not that you haven't heard it before, but I'd rather they had taken away this second week of break we have at the end of April, than go to 6/25 which is the current date. :sad2:

A new The Hills is going to be on tonight at 10 so I'm just messing around on here to kill some time before it comes on. Anyone else watching?

I don't watch that one. What is it?

CE - We've all been dopey at the Doctors at least once in our lives ::yes::

Pshew. :goodvibes She made the comment that I wasn't even having the "exam" that we all hate, so why was I so nervous? I don't know! :rotfl:

What kind of TV? We have th bravia 42 inch and moving to the 55 or 60 something inch when we movee in 2 weeks. :woohoo:

I want to know the same things as Jo! Nice to see you!

Morning CE, well just :goodvibes

Thanks, I'm up!

I think your bathroom redo started when my mum was here. What color? And can I have some goodies that the girls are making? :)

Good morning everyone! I see Scott checked in, how nice!

My mom is coming today. She's supposed to arrive at the Detroit airport about 11:30 am. I hope that Bob will let me go for the ride, I am dying of boredom!

He certainly won't let me stay home and pick up the house.......:)

Tomorrow is my check up with the surgeon to see how I'm doing. I really hope he says, "GREAT! Do whatever you like now!"

Is that expecting too much?

MEL:banana:

:lmao:Maybe a little.

***************************************************
I went to bed at a decent (for me) hour, slept well enough, and am still just really sleepy. Sigh. Of course, it's grey and rainy again, which never helps.

I'll be off for my tennis team practice here in a bit. I don't have much else to do - I need to decide if today's grocery day, or if it will be tomorrow. I have a sneaking suspicion that it needs to be today. ;)

Anyway, I'll be in and out - hope everyone has a great morning! :grouphug:

Just boring whiteish creamish and yep I'll send some cakes over :rotfl2:

Just a tad :rotfl2: Good luck and take it easy Missy

Decisions decisions :rotfl2:

I don't know what to do this afternoon  It's nice and sunny out and if we're not careful the girls will just happily sit infront of the TV all day :sad2:

UGH...yeah that stinks! I was really surprised to see that Lindsey's last day was the 20th. She actully gets done before Memorial Day and before DR gets done. LOL And in the next month she will be going on 6 field trips so its not like she will be doing a whole lot of learning in between there. LOL

I don't watch that one. What is it?

The Hills...it's on MTV and its the one with Lauren Conrad (LC) and Heidi and Spencer. Last night didn't disappoint and I found myself laughing and shaking my head at the same time from the stupidity of it all. :sad2:

 Hi Mel! Enjoy your time with your mom. Hopefully you can go along for the ride and that your check up tomorrow is good. :)

Morning Fockers!

My morning did not start off that well. Not only did I wake up to snow on the ground but as Lindsey put it 'I'm already having a bad day!' And that was at 7:30 this morning. LOL

The car was covered in snow and stuck on the grass but not the sidewalks or roads, so that was good. It was a pain having to scrape the snow off the car though.

We did Lindsey's math homework last night, put the book in her backpack, she then took it out and has now lost it. She couldn't remember what she did with it this morning so I now get to search for it. :sad2: Kids!

Lindsey is taking the gifted and talented test this week in school. I don't know if I told y'all about her report card or not? It may have been when my computer was down. But she did excellent on her report card and the teacher said she would be testing Lindsey for the advanced reading level program. So, we'll see how she does. :)

Ummmmm...not much else. DR has his 4 year check up this morning so I need to be getting him up here shortly to get ready. Our ped has moved to a new hospital and a new office. I don't know this one too well so we'll have to leave early in order for me to find my way around. This is my second doc to move to this new hospital. First my OB/GYN and now my ped. I wonder why? :confused3

Hope y'all have a good Tuesday! :grouphug:

Glad you got some sleep last night. I actually went to bed early as well and am still tired. Have fun at tennis! And I need to get some grocery shopping done today as well.

I don't know what to do this afternoon  It's nice and sunny out and if we're not careful the girls will just happily sit infront of the TV all day :sad2:

That's how my kids would be as well if I didn't make them go outside or walk with them.

Yeah, that's early, even to my midwestern tradition. We always seemed to finish right around Memorial Day - maybe the Friday before, usually more like the Wed. after...

Oh, no!

Yuck, I'm sorry. It's 42 and rainy here, but I'll take it over snow!

Hope y'all have a good Tuesday! :grouphug:

You, too!

#########################################
I really have to go get dressed. What am I doing? :rotfl:

See you later! :upsidedow

Good chilly morning :goodvibes It's cold here in SC. What's up with that???

Jo, I think high BP is such an issue here that to have someone show up who is really low is nearly worthy of praise. No doctor has ever said anything to me about it being too low.

Mel, I hope you get out of the house for a bit.

CE, have a great day at tennis.

And Kat, :hug::hug::hug:

Oh, and V! How is Leo?

***************************

Not much going on here today. We went from having no down time to having nothing to do. It's kind of funny. #1 asked me this morning what we have going on today and I said "it's a school day." Then he said "Is that it?" Yup. That's it.:woohoo:

That's good  Have fun with just school :thumbsup2

Still don't know what to do but Jess just brought me a cake :rotfl2:

:rotfl: I hope so too!

I need to decide if today's grocery day, or if it will be tomorrow. I have a sneaking suspicion that it needs to be today. ;)
I so hate the grocery. But of course, it must be done.

Not only did I wake up to snow on the ground
:scared1: I hope the rest of your day gets better.

Good chilly morning :goodvibes It's cold here in SC. What's up with that???
It's only supposed to be 65 here today.

#1 asked me this morning what we have going on today and I said "it's a school day." Then he said "Is that it?" Yup. That's it.:woohoo:
:rotfl2:

Not much going on here today. Mitch is in N.O. I told him Regis & Kelly are broadcasting live two block from his hotel and he wasn't impressed at all. Maybe some of the people he's with will take photos if there are lots of celebrities. :lmao:

Morning all.

Just a quick drive by. It's going to be busy here today, but hopefully I will be able to check in.

Jo - I commented on you Blog:lmao:

Mel - Enjoy your visit with your mom and relax as long as the doctor tells you too:goodvibes

Lori - Did you find the book:confused:

Angela - What's Mitch doing in N.O.:confused3 I don't blame him, I'm not a Regis and Kelly fan:sick:

Kate - Cold here too and they actually said the s word on the enws this morning:mad:

Hi Ce :wave2:

Morning everyone!

Gus managed to make a pan of brownies all alone.

Tonight Bob and the boys are making pasta for dinner. They're baking a sun-dried tomato and pesto beer bread right now!
Um, can your boys hang out with Leo and train him?! You're raising those boys RIGHT Mel! :thumbsup2

Wow! This is a happening thread. I can already see I am having trouble keeping up!
No worries - I sometimes miss pages at a time. Just jump in whenever and wherever you can!

Have you heard my accent? There is a video on www.disneyworldmoms.com under meet the Moms, I say lovely rather a lot and thanks for reading my blog
But Jo's not really British, FYI. She doesn't drink tea and doesn't like Monty Python. ;) LY Jo!

VENT/RANT AHEAD
 As others said, every couple goes through this, I promise.

I would say then I am going to Disney in October but that really would not help the mattewr at all.
Yep, me too. Of course, I'm divorced. 'Nuff said. :rotfl2:

Jo, I think you've been doing wall stuff for as a long as I've known you! :rotfl:

Tomorrow is my check up with the surgeon to see how I'm doing. I really hope he says, "GREAT! Do whatever you like now!"

Is that expecting too much?
Hee hee, maybe a tad!

We did Lindsey's math homework last night, put the book in her backpack, she then took it out and has now lost it.
Leo managed to lose an entire lunch box in the week he was gone. :headache::rolleyes:

Good chilly morning :goodvibes It's cold here in SC. What's up with that???
OMG, seriously! It was 50-something here this morning and dropping into the 40s tonight!:sad2:
Oh, and V! How is Leo?
See below! :goodvibes

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!! :yay: Leo's home! He was so, so glad of it, too. And he was exhausted; came home form school, ate a banana and fell fast asleep on the couch whilst I made dinner. He perked up some after eating, but was ready for bed by 8.

Interesting sidenote: his dad emailed me yesterday about drop off plans for Easter and said "I have to tell you, he really missed you this week." You have no idea how big that is for him (the ex) to admit! :goodvibes

In other news... does anyone here use Digg.com? It's my latest venture with work to get our messages out for free. If you do, and are interested in helping me get our story/ies higher on Digg's list, let me know! Meanwhile, I'll be playing with a FB page and LinkedIn for work. I cannot believe I'm becoming one of those techy people... I miss BOOKS!!! :rotfl:

BUT....she does sound like Mary Poppins;)

Maybe he is growing up:confused3

Wait a second...he was just with his dad for a whole week AND he has to go there this weekend too:confused:

I cannot believe I'm becoming one of those techy people... I miss BOOKS!!! :rotfl:

:lmao:

Is it morning already? :headache: I don't know why I'm so tired and can't wake up. Maybe part of it is because it's 37 outside! It's supposed to be 76 today, 80 tomorrow, and 90 Thursday. This back and forth stuff really messes with my allergies.

Anyway, today's just plain, old school here too, Kate. I'm glad we don't have anything else to do. I left a message for my mom tellingher we didn't want to do anything for Easter and that I was focusing on school right now so a visit wasn't a good idea. Funny, she hasn't called me or anything. I guess instead of arguing with me she's taken the pouting path. I don't do pouting. I ignore pouting. So, whatever.

I talked to my realtor last night and I'm so frustrated that we lowered the price on Friday and haven't had any traffic. I'm going to wait two weekends, then we might add an incentive of some sort to get people interested. It's so frustrating. We need to get out of here, but I can't drop the price so much that I don't have 10% to put down on the new house. :guilty: We'll see...

Morning Friends!

Just spent about 30 minutes catching up here! You guys sure were chatty yesterday!

I spent the day painting and I'm paying the price today. I'm not sure how many trips up and down the ladder I made yesterday, but I'm aching in places I didn't know I had muscles!!!:scared1: But at least it's done. Today, I get to put everything away and clean the kitchen floor. It's amazing what you find under the fridge and the stove!

We've also got to make a grocery run today. We're out of just about everything!

Oh, and I think snow needs to be outlawed while on spring break! :sad2: We didn't have any accumulation at all, but it flurried off and on all day yesterday. And it's cold today. It's supposed to warm up later this week, so we might be able to hit a park or something. I'm planning on the Children's Museum tomorrow though.

Hope everyone has a great day! And that Mo and Mel feel better soon!

Angela - What's Mitch doing in N.O.:confused3 I don't blame him, I'm not a Regis and Kelly fan:sick:
He's at a pharmacy convention. I thought there might be some celebrities on their show this weeks, but it's only Billy Ray & Miley Cyrus. Although Annie Lennox is on Friday. :thumbsup2
