What?! You don't think, "I played golf today" is good reading? :rotfl: I like reading about your life and the things you do. What about those pretty photos and Ellie's trip. :surfweb: Good stuff!
Just posted about our cricket day :rotfl2: english-jo.blogspot.com if anyones interested :rotfl2:

I then went to McDonald's and scarfed down a meal in about 5 minutes. I was SO hungry. But, probably not a good diet choice... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
But just what you needed :rotfl:

Here's a picture! Sorry so many are missing. They are delicious!!!!

Yummy!!!!

Stinky sleep. KC got a call on the on-call phone (he has it for the whole month of april) at 6:30 this morning and he was up making calls to get the issue cleared up until 8am. Then he had to get up at 8:30am! Poor guy! Poor me too, tho. My sleep was all weirded out.
Does he get extra $ for that?

I like how people are posting more on here :goodvibes

Bob, Gus and I are watching Star Wars Attack of the Clones. Nice! Gus managed to make a pan of brownies all alone. I was so impressed! SD made it home from his sleepover, despite the snowstorm. He's probably going to join us and watch the movie soon.

Tonight Bob and the boys are making pasta for dinner. They're baking a sun-dried tomato and pesto beer bread right now! I'm going to gain a million pounds while I'm laid up! LOL

The snow is done and it's so pretty all stuck to the trees. They are predicting 50 degree temps on Wednesday so it probably won't stick around too long. It's easier to enjoy when you know it's melting soon! ROFL!

I like that more people are posting lately too!!!!

When I first started for years ago, I used to have more trouble being patient, but that just upset everybody. So, if I want them to get the work done, I just have to remember to love on them while I gently correct them. I do this provide the best education and support them, so I just try to remember that.
If you can teach other people's kids, you could do your own- who you love and care for. You could. :lovestruc

 You are such a great mama!

Thanks, Janet.
She's got the concept, of V=bh but she keeps multiplying wrong or dropping the labels. I keep telling her that even mulitplying 4x2 instead of 4 squared makes the answer wrong. She finally got it together when I told her every time she missed a problem I was going to give her another one to do. I told her we can't move on until she masters a concept. Amazingly, once I said that, she got them all right. ;)

:rotfl2:

Another day of warm weather... 82 I think. Tomorrow it will drop to 69, so we'll be outside most of the day. Almost time to open up the pool! :woohoo:

I'd settle for the 69.

Kat and T- Add me to the list of game junkies!

Me too! I spent all day yesterday playing games on Facebook. Well, not all day but enough to wear a butt impression of my computer chair.

I am going to do a shameless plug for my PTR, especially the latest installment because I have pictures of 2 Fockers in it, if you are bored at some point this week click the link in my signature.

:thumbsup2

OMGosh Janet!!!!

You did NOT have to do that! But, I am GLAD GLAD GLAD that you did!
I love you!

Bob and Gus love you too! :worship:

Guys, she sent me edible arrangements chocolate covered strawberries and green apples. DELISH.

I am bound to feel better now. I hear chocolate is a "feel good food!" LOL

LY so much.
MEL

Awwww...that was sweet.

The girls are really making the most of our nice spring weather, it's 7pm here and they're still in the garden :thumbsup2

That sounds so nice. Our spring break is only on Friday and Monday this year and I'm hoping it will be nice so my kids can play outside most of the time.

:lmao: I thought "She farted and fell asleep." was a little harsh. ;)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It was fine, but it was my new doctor, and - maybe because I fasted? - I was particularly nervous. :confused3 I felt like I was talking a mile a minute, my blood pressure was high the first time... It came down by the end of the appointment (and when the ob/gyn checked it in Feb., it was fine, so I'm not particularly worried) but still. I think it was low blood sugar, really. Blah.

Anyway, they drew some blood for my initial cholesterol check :scared: (I exercise, as we know, but my diet choices aren't always great) and my thyroid levels, and they'll get back to me later.

I then went to McDonald's and scarfed down a meal in about 5 minutes. I was SO hungry. But, probably not a good diet choice... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

UGH! That sounds like no fun at all.

I can remeber being pregnant with DR and having to do that blood sugar test. I had to do it three times. The first came out with really high numbers. The second came out normal. And the third (since I have huge babies the doctor ordered another to be precautionary) came out really low. I had to sit in the lobby of the hospital and eat something before I could even walk out to my car. Not fun!

I was gonna make a spinach and artichoke bake today but have no milk for the sauce so plan B is in effect- choc chip pancakes and sausages. I may even get lazy and order groceries online for delivery tomorrow. :confused3

Anywho I'll be in from time to time, in between playing my useless but addicting games![/COLOR]

Sorry about the sleep. Hopefully tonight will be better.

Isn't that the truth?!?!? :rotfl2:

Dinner sounds wonderful!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I feel so useless just sitting around here. At this time I'm normally starting dinner but my grandma has made something for us tonight and will be dropping it off here shortly. I'm hoping its her homemade potatoe or veggie soup. YUM! Plus, hopefully she'll join us. :)

Maybe I'll go check on the laundry and see if I can get some kind of load started.

Wow! This is a happening thread. I can already see I am having trouble keeping up!

Excuse me while I get a tissue to wipe the drool off my keyboard.

Janet, you are a great friend!

Sounds like you had a great mother's day. I even read it with my own English accent.
Great pics. Love your cherry tree blossoms!

A four day spring break? My kiddos would certainly protest!

Why so short? Too many snow days?

OMYUM!
Mel, that sounds fantastic! Care to share the recipe? Sun-dried are the only tomatoes my kids will eat.

Productive day for me. :yay: Yay me. ;)

:rotfl2: Have you heard my accent? There is a video on www.disneyworldmoms.com under meet the Moms, I say lovely rather a lot and thanks for reading my blog

Well I'm going to bed, nightie night girls, LY

CE, I always ramble at the doctor. Always. Then I leave feeling like a goof-ball. My blood pressure is ridiculously low. Like, stupid low. But at the Dr. I'm always "normal" and I end up going on and on about how unusual it is for me to fall within normal...white coat syndrome...only other time was when I was pregnant... I want to smack myself upside the head.

So, I know how you feel.

And, I'd venture to say they are used to people going a little crazy at the doctor. No one likes it.

Sorry, Kate! It's a tastefully simple box mix! LOL

I used a box of their wheat bread, tonic water (all I had with carbonation...) and two heaping tablespoons of their sun-dried tomato and pesto spice mix.

Their website is HERE

Love their stuff. I've been buying it for over 12 years now!

Hi Fockers!

Just popping in to say Hi! I don't have time to read or update today. :sad1:
I have to get to bed early and try to sleep since I have to report for training at 0700. That means I have to get up at 0530. I'm gonna watch House and Heros and hit the hey.

I hope everyone is well. I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Does he get extra $ for that?

Yea he gets $75 a week extra for having it. It rarely rings thoi, but it's worth the extra $300 for the month to have it!

Wow! This is a happening thread. I can already see I am having trouble keeping up!

You have NO idea!

VENT/RANT AHEAD:

KC called me on his lunch break today to tell me that a game/geek convention thingie is starting their registration today. The con doesn't happen until a year from now but no he has no choice but to go because he is pre registered, and had to spend $50 today. If he doesn't go $50 gone.

We have cut back on everything because he wants his precious TV, which can not afford. HELLO spending a friggin $1000 on one item is killing us. I told him we need to get the warranty plan on whatever tv as well, so thats more $ and I want to look into renter's insurance because having something worth that much in my house makes me want to insure it.

I am trying to plan a bare bones trip for my own birthday just so we can get away a bit and he cares more about his vacation to the convention, which is in Boston and I am basically not invited to because he is going to be at this con the whole weekend. What about our 5 year anniversary which falls a month before this con?!

He keeps on telling me the reason we are in debt is because he didn't say anything when I kept planning trips to WDW. I think I remember him coming too?! And having fun. So its even harder for me to tell him I am annoyed about this because I don't want it to becoming WW3.

URGH! He's on the way home now so I needed to get that out. I'm gonna play a little animal crossing and open up my gate so if anyone's on I'll be there.

Thanks for letting em vent. RANT OVER.

Kat, I think every couple has the same conversation. If only I were independently wealthy...

Kat , Bill is an electronics freak, he always wants bigger and better, I feel your pain. I am so sorry this is stressing you out, maybe you can sit down together and talk about it? I hope things get better soon.

OK, thanks. I am definitely normally "normal" so it was weird. :)

I appreciate the understanding!

Hi, Kristel. Sorry you have such an early day.

which is in Boston and I am basically not invited to because he is going to be at this con the whole weekend. What about our 5 year anniversary which falls a month before this con?!

Not that it helps the big picture, but come stay with me whilst he's in Boston. Seriously.

Been there, had that fight. Angela's right. We've all had that fight. :sad2:

Not too much advice, if I knew what to say I could fix it here too!

Usually the best remedy for this is to take some time to calm down and then try one more time to discuss it. If it's still a sore spot, then maybe you need to write it out? Money does make people do and say some crazy stuff.

Much love and hugs.

MEL

kat, i'm sorry you are having trouble. I think most couples argue over money more than anything else. We are struggling with getting out of debt and have both vowed not to become slaves to debt ever again. Since we made that decision and agreeing on a budget and plan to get out of debt, a lot (but not all) of our financial arguments have been eliminated. I hope you guys work this out as well in whatever way is best for you.

Evening all !!
Jo I visited Gt Yarmouth every year that we went to Hemsby ! It was our day out and we went to the little amusemnet type places ,ate cockles and mussels and of course bought a stick of Rock!!:thumbsup2Yarmouth wasalso th one and only tme I rode a Roller Coaster ,I was there for the day with a Youth Group and my Best Friend (th one who died recently) talked me into going on it !!!!!:scared1:NEVER EVER again I was petrified :scared1: to the pointof being speechless (yes Rosie was speechless :lmao:) Remember how youpaid on th ride well it stopped and she didn't get off and paid again :scared1:So Rigid Rosie went again !!!:scared1::scared1::scared1::lmao:
I think "She farted and then went to sleep " says it perfectly!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
Kat :hug::hug::hug:
Jo ( again) Was there a Sticky Wicket??":lmao:

A four day spring break? My kiddos would certainly protest!

Why so short? Too many snow days?

You got it right Kate...too many snow days so they shortened it. I guess its better than us going into June though. Lindsey's last day of school will be May 20 and DR's last day will be May 27.
