Janet, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but yea for Jimmy for doing the right thing.

He is pretty smart!:goodvibes

And congrats to the Braves for last nights win:sad2:

Mitch is off to NO this afternoon for a pharmacy convention. He told me he wasn't going, but apparently forgot to tell me he changed his mind. So he'll be gone until Wednesday. Maybe while he's gone, I can finally get the last few things organized from being gone.

Good thing you didn't plan his birthday dinner thinking he'd be home;)

Good morning everyone.

Janet~ How scary! There is no feeling like that in the world! Glad you found him safe and sound.

kids just hot on the bus so I need to leave for work but wanted to check in first. We have a high of 48 today but no snow. Next week is spring break!!

Have a great day everyone!

It was the worst feeling in the world. :sad2:

No snow here, just lots of rain and thunderstorms!

Oh Janet! What an awful experience! But, the good news is that you have a little boy that follows directions and takes what you say seriously. He knew just what to do

Thanks Kate:goodvibes Yeah, I guess he does listen more than I think he does!:thumbsup2

I woke up this morning to the weather radio beeping at me...seems we're under a tornado warning until 1:00. Those are always fun. But things are slowing down for us with the end of the soccer season, so I'll be here doing laundry and tidying the house.

Have a great day :goodvibes

Stay safe:goodvibes

Morning. I'm still not sleeping too great! The stitches are uncomfortable. (I'm sure that's to be expected but I'm grumpy...) No temp though, and my throat is feeling much better.

Stitches itching means it is healing:thumbsup2

We DID indeed get the storm!

Snow??? IN April:scared1::scared1:

OMG Janet, my heart's racing jsut reading this!:hug::hug: I've always told Leo to find a mommy if he loses me, but styaing put sounds like a much better plan; I'm going to start training him that way starting now! :thumbsup2

He did a great job remembering ::yes::

But Leo comes home tonight, so that's something to which I'm very much looking forward. :goodvibes

:yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo::cheer2::cheer2:

That was us last week.

We DID indeed get the storm! It's pretty out there, but I'd say we have at least 4 inches of snow. It's horribly windy too which is dangerous because the snow is the heavy, sticky wet kind and it's weighing the trees down. I need to check and see how much more we are going to get.
 In April? Do you usually get this weather so late in the year?
Feel better. :flower3:

I may just let my mind wander a bit and think about WDW. ;)
:cool1: Great idea!

And congrats to the Braves for last nights win:sad2:
I did manage to stay up for the entire game. :goodvibes It looked cold there too.

Good morning, Fockers!
We're starting of the morning with school and it feels so good to be back to "normal". I'll check back later. :goodvibes

To those who are getting snow ~ hard to believe but i am somewhat jealous.
Yay at last someone else who wants snow!!!!

Hi all. I'm too tired to quote everyone. It's been a BAD day.:sad2:.
Yikes Janet so scary, sounds as though Jimmy was a good boy though :thumbsup2

It was actually quite a bit of fun. I ended up with over $300 worth of stuff for just under $70 out of pocket, so I can't complain, really. I will be able to fill my blank dining room wall, so that's good.
And there you were worrying about it :rotfl2: Glad it went well!

They have 2 kids, 3 and a 2 months old so I got to play with a baby! I want one![/COLOR]

Yikes, stay safe!

Oh, and did I mention that my mother is coming tomorrow??? Ugh. I know I should be happy but I'm just stressed because I can't do ANYTHING and I have company coming!
Is she coming to help or was she coming anyway?

But Leo comes home tonight, so that's something to which I'm very much looking forward. :goodvibes
:yay:

Just went for another long walk, yep that's all we seem to do in this house :rotfl2: This was all 4 of us and we probably did about 5 miles, we did get ice-cream half way round to keep the girls going :rotfl2:

Are the girls off this week too?

Angela: Thanks! I'm taking it easy. Bob made me scrambled eggs for breakfast!

JO: My mom was coming anyway. She planned it a few weeks ago. Your walk sounds so nice.

***********

Is Kate still out there? There are tornados near her. Check in soon Kate!

MEL:banana:

They're off for 2 weeks!!!

But your go all year right:confused:

Angela: Thanks! I'm taking it easy. Bob made me scrambled eggs for breakfast!

Go NotBOB:woohoo:

My mom was coming anyway. She planned it a few weeks ago.

And she will understand that things are not perfect ::yes::

She said they were under a warning..hope they are okay!

Ugh! Math is harder in 6th grade. Finding the volume of a cylinder, not my favorite thing to do! :headache:
Baylie's crying and I'm stuck being the mean teacher. :guilty: But, she's got to pay attention to the details. I know it's the best thing for her to make sure she gets it, but it's not fun for mom to be the teacher sometimes. :sad2: Then again, I can be thankful that I'm able to help her through instead of her jsut getting them marked wrong and not understanding why.

My mom wants to come next week to visit for Easter, but I told her I'm ignoring the holiday. With packing and the trip, I just want things to be "normal" I can't afford for her to come here and keep us from doing school for two days. We could get an offer at anyminute and school would be put on hold until we found and house and then again to move, so I can't skip school for fun things right now.

It's a double standard. If you slack off, your family thinks maybe you shouldn't be homeschooling, but they want you to drop everything when they want to hang out. Nope. Not the way it works... Either way I'm the mean one. I'm okay with that.

Hi Fockers just checking in

I was supposed to work from home today, but that is NOT happening. I did downgrade to Viocodin today from the Oxycodone, so that is a good sign, but I know I could not put in 8 hours so I went through my emails, forwarded what needed to be and went back to sleep.

The pain is not as bad, but still can't put any pressure on it. Murph is still here (but I am grateful especially with the pugs)

JANET:hug::hug::hug:

And a huge thank you, the doorbell rang earlier and YUMMY!!!!!!!

How is Mel feeling, are you still taking drugs too?

Let's see what I remember reading, nothing is sinking in today! :sad2:

CE - Great news about the party and all the free stuff you get. :) Sorry about the sleep though. Good Luck at the docs.

Kat - Thanks for the game tip. I'll have to check it out. :thumbsup2 Glad you had fun with the kiddos!

Mel - Glad your feeling a bit better. We are supposed to be getting your snow and I'm not looking foward to it. :sad2: Have a good time with your mom. I'm sure she will understand.

V - I was going to say...you may not want to be at work but at least Leo's coming home tonight! :yay: Have a good time dreaming of WDW.

:wave2: Hi to Janet, Angela, Kristel, Deb, Jo and Dawn. Hope I got everyone.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Linds is at school and I'm about to take DR to preschool. Linds was supposed to have t-ball practice tonight but it is cancelled due to our weather. They are to be remaking it up on Saturday in the late morning.

We're to be getting snow as well. It hasn't started yet but I think they said not until later in the afternoon/evening. UGH!!! This crappy weather is not helping my mood.

Hope y'all have a good Monday! :grouphug:

Sorry that its so tough Dawn. I truly don't know how you do it! I seriously don't have the patience to do what you do.:hug::hug:

Relax and rest. Your not going to do anyone any good if you are in pain!

Thanks Mo:hug:

:wave2: Hi to Janet,

Hi Lori!

Sorry that its so tough Dawn. I truly don't know how you do it! I seriously don't have the patience to do what you do.:hug::hug:
When I first started for years ago, I used to have more trouble being patient, but that just upset everybody. So, if I want them to get the work done, I just have to remember to love on them while I gently correct them. I do this provide the best education and support them, so I just try to remember that.
If you can teach other people's kids, you could do your own- who you love and care for. You could. :lovestruc

Yup, I'm here and we're fine. Thanks ladies

I was just outside moving in my plants...we're looking at 35 tonight and 28 tomorrow. Where did spring go? :confused3

****************************

Dawn, I can't tell you how many times I've been right where you are today. Wearing two hats for your kids can be awful at times...you want to comfort them and tell them it will be okay, but at the same time you know they not only have to learn something, but are capable. And it's your job to make sure they get it. It's a struggle. Hugs to you and B

If you need help let me know I will have Jim set up the webcam tonight!:thumbsup2
Thanks, Janet.
She's got the concept, of V=bh but she keeps multiplying wrong or dropping the labels. I keep telling her that even mulitplying 4x2 instead of 4 squared makes the answer wrong. She finally got it together when I told her every time she missed a problem I was going to give her another one to do. I told her we can't move on until she masters a concept. Amazingly, once I said that, she got them all right. ;)

Mo: Glad you were able to check in. Don't even think about working! Silly Mo! I'm doing fine. I'm down to just Motrin, so that's good. Keep resting. Let Murph do the heavy lifting for now.  Get well!!!!

Dawn: Math is hard! It makes me cry too. :sad2:

Kate: Glad you're ok! Those storms looked scary. Spring will be back.....I hope. :)

Bob is staying home today. Good and Bad. LOL I am glad he's here, but I am so frustrated at him not letting me do ANYTHING. Argh. I'm bored.
