Another busy day !!Training from 10 -3 , then another meeting with a consumer right after that and then had to play with money ! Had to chastise a couple of consumers one is a con artist the othe a Drama queen! The first thought I wouldn't notice that a receipt and how much I gave him weren't the same (Con Man 101) The other forgot a receipt and when asked for it decided she neede to go to the hospitalThey are so funny !!I do their money every week and hav never forgotten and yet they will remind me all week long tht they wantPzza money for Friday andI don't mean once they must think I'm senile !!

hi everyone! Today is my friday! Cesar Chavez day is tomorrow so i dont have work.

My spring quarter is starting monday so ill just mentally prepare for that. Im pretty excited for my mammology class.

Today I got 2 packages in the mail. I thought both would be textbooks i ordered from amazon, but to my delight one was a brochure for DVC. it doesnt matter what its for, I just love getting disney dvds and brochures. I read through it and added it to my weddings, adventures by disney, and wdw brochures. They also sent a small coloring book, so i walked to the store, bought some crayons, and colored a picture to mail to my grandma. your never too old for fridge art. hopefully it improves though!

Lindsey is still having problems today in school. She pitched a fit this evening, worse than a 2 year old, about not being able to have dessert after dinner because of her behavior in school. She's slowly driving me crazy. I just ignored her though because there was no way I was giving in. Hopefully this will sink in and tomorrow will be a better day. She has a 2 hour delay in the morning since the teachers have meetings so we all get to sleep in. YAY!

Speaking of cats. When I checked on our wiskered furbabies a couple of weeks ago, I noticed they were lookin' more like pigs than kitties. Doug always feeds them. I told him to cut back on the food because I didn't want porky pusses. He also decided to give them the run of the polebarn. They are already looking better. Now hopefully they'll keep all the mini- beasties away too.

What's weird-er is that the pages are not moving... we are not chatty lately. Too much Spring stuff I guess.
Poor Janet is swamped so she is not posting much.

Kids are out of school today. Sarabeth had a KILLER Science test yesterday and she was so stressed about it. Do not know how she did but her Science teacher( which I will add must not be very good as most of the class is doing poorly)
said that "GRADES TANKED" Sara has not been able to maintain a B in that class. She is all over the board .

OOOHH Big News... I think I shared this with Jodi the other day on Facebook

Sarabeth made "All County Choir"... AND.... She was selected to sing the National Anthem SOLO. Yes Momma is PROUD...

I'm beginning to think "Focker Commune"... Florida is fine by me.

That makes me sad, it really does. When I met you all and everyone's kids were in WDW with us they were VERY well behaved, and downright good kids.All of them were polite and friendly. I just don't get it.

Okay - I wondered if it was just my perception, but you guys seem to feel the same way... I'd think it's just standard practice to raise kids with little regard or respect for authority - or for anyone/thing for that matter - save for the fact that every single child of a Focker I've met has shown the kind of manners, respectfulness, kindness and all-around good behavior I try to instill in Leo. So I have to ask: are we all in the minority, or is just where I live???

Only 3 guys and they had all 12 windows and trim completed by 2PM. They cleaned the windows and the floors. Excellent job. Here are some before and after pics.

They sound just like our customers when I managed a bank - our customer base was on the older side, with an average age of 86!

Not a lot to report here. I heard back form Leo's teacher and she's separated him form the 3 bullies in class. She didn't seem to be taking this very seriously, but I'll wait and see how the separation works before pushing for anything more. Leo seemed much happier last night than he has in a while, so maybe it's the answer. We'll see...

Meanwhile, he's off to his dad's after school for Spring Break - won't be home until 4/6. I miss him already!

Still thinking about WDW restaurants. I keep changing my mind every few hours, lol! Today, I'm having the urge to re-visit Tony's and give it a second chance. Also, Tutto, based on a wonderful review by a DIS friend. I might just be hankering for some red sauce this morning.

If not a Commune...how about a Focker Charter School (near WDW of course)

Slate can be the Principal/CEO...since she is good with numbers and all.

Jim can teach Math and Science

V can teach writing aand language skills!

Katt - Music

JenV, Jen, Dawn can teach art---they're crafty

Mel and Kat can teach cooking (it's a necessity) and be in charge of a hot lunch program

CE and Jo can be in charge of gym (even though all the kids will learn is tennis and golf)

What else do we need. It hink we should propose the idea to Disney, maybe they will give us the funding to start

It works here too... I even taught my kids to open the Car doors SLOWLY and not hit the car next to us.. no matter WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. But as the sides of my cars always show.. No one else seems to care even at church.. unless they get caught. Sarabeth got a little award from a teacher for showing "Good Manners" by saying "THANK YOU"... She was the ONLY ONE who said thank you for some candy they were given .

So Yup ... Focker Commune... and we TEACH OUR KIDS

Thanks V... She was the School Pick for the Song... and at the Audition.. her Music Teacher told me that she NAILED IT. Even the rough intervals and the high notes. I used to sing it for events... now My baby is doing it... OH YES... Video camera will be rolling.

They get out here June 5 so the kids have 41 SCHOOL DAYS Left in the year. 9 school days till Spring Break. And I still have no Plans... May be stuck here.. again... and I really need a break.

I can not handle anything now.. I do not know what is wrong with me. Things that did not use to stress me out are... and it is taking less and less to do it. JUst yesterday... trying to help Sarabeth get ready for School( as it was picture day) doing her hair for her, packing 2 lunches, breakfasts... UNGLUED me. I have got to get back to exercising or I ma going to die of a heart attack. Especially with my blood pressure being up.. and up I guess because of Stress.


Got to get at it. I have done nothing today... and I need to help Sarabeth clean out "Turbo's" fish Tank. ( aka Turbo II )

I don't understand these layoffs when the parks are so packed. I don't understand why the markets are up when so many companies are laying off people.

Hi!

I should not be here.

I went to the "Cardio Tennis" class this morning. Thank goodness it was only an hour. I nearly keeled over. Then I went to the salon to see if they could squeeze me in, since I completely and totally spaced my eyebrow wax appointment yesterday.

They could. Then, I went to Target, where I found my friend again who'd talked me into the tennis class, and we shopped together, which therefore took much longer than necessary.

Now I'm home. I put away laundry and made the guest room bed. I need still, to vacuum - and I should shower before I pick the kids up to pick my mom up.

No word from D, who's supposedly talking to the boat salesman.

I didn't make it to the grocery store, so Mom will have to come with. She won't care, but I meant to be done with it. Oh well.

But, I have to go. If I'm not around much, it's just because my mom's here. Hope everyone has a great rest of their Friday and I'll try to read, at least, over the weekend.
