Just a quick drive-by before my day begins. I'm meeting a friend to help her with planning her family's WDW vacation this morning! I can't wait to tell her all about my favorite place! I'm not sure if she's a first-timer or not, but she does have three kids, so her choice of resort is somewhat limited.

I'm hoping that DH goes to work today, but he was up half the night coughing. He sounds awful. I just hope I don't catch it! I'm trying hard to stay away from him though.

Looks like Charleston is in for a lovely day, so I'm hoping to get some gardening done and with a lull in the pine pollen, I might even open some windows

Tonight #2 has a soccer game and #1 has lacrosse practice. I literally have to be two different places at the same time. Should be interesting. It would be alright if I knew the lacrosse coach would stick around until I can get #1...but he'll leave. So I'll have to do some fancy shuffling.

DD11 is home from school today.

I'm still trying to figure out whether I should work from here or go into the office. I'll get ready for work and check with her after I'm ready. My office is less than 2 miles from the house, so it's not as if I can't get home in a hurry if needed. I think I forgot to report that we broke down and got her a mobile phone last week. She can get a hold of me pretty quickly.

Back from the vet.... and I've got a little good news.

OMG, a powder blue leisure suit!!! YOU, however, look beautiful Katt!

I wore my new dark denim capris today, this evening though I noticed I had a huge bruise on my calf I then looked and I had one on the other calf too turns out it's the dye from my capris You should see the state of my knees

That happened to me at WDW - I;d washed a new pair of jeans, but they must have still had a lot of excess dye. We got caught in the rain waist down!

So my bday is next month I'm turning 30

30 is a GREAT year Z - whatever you do, live it up!

Today is a hard one, 17 years ago today my Mom died of breast cancer, I was 22 years old and took her to every doctors appointment, cancer treatment (radiation and chemo), and took care of her when she couldn't. I miss my best friend .

I'm sorry. Do I know you people?

I spent last night changing my hair color. I used a color remover to lift the dark brown and applied a light brown... but wound up with medium brown. Not quite what I wanted, but not bad looking, either. Further experimenting will ensue.

Yeah We could not ALL be in High School in the Mid to LATE 1980's.
There was a few of those around... even for Prom and don't forget Weddings . Thankfully I was spared anymore of the Powder Blue after this
I was also part of the "Southern Belle" Hoop Skirt Era... Nope!!! I did not go there... not even in Pageants But I did have some "Big Hair" ​

I had a wonderful weekend with Dr. Belle. We didn't do anything terribly exciting - except eat Bosnian food! - but we get along well just sitting and chatting and hanging.

So I found out KC's boss is going to go to the Adventure's Club weekend thing and it seemed to spark some hope in KC, LOL. I wish. We'll see, he did seem interested.
