I 'm with you Jo!! I put butter and salt on my pancakes I don't like maple syrup and mixing sweet and savory! Everyon thinks I'm NUTS!!:rotfl2:

I don't think it is petty at all. I would be aggravated, too.

Gald your back Z. Sorry you had not such a great time though:hug:

NO, they're not petty things. I would also be upset. Everyone has those times.

As for the BF.....well, I think if you aren't feeling it, then take a break. You are YOUNG. You are SINGLE. You are a great CATCH! Let them chase you. Don't waste your time with the ones that irritate you. Life's way too short. :goodvibes

Thanks guys :grouphug: :grouphug:

I have 4 eight year olds here and they are cracking me up.

They told me that when they were in art class a girl wrote a note to another girl that said "Your butt looks sexy today.":lmao:

Then they were telling me about mean boys who curse at them.

Then they were all telling me they have girlfriends, except ds who is denying having any girlfriends. One of the boys told me that he has 4 girlfriends. I said, "Didn't you know you aren't supposed to have more than 3 girlfriends at a time." He thought I was serious and said, "oh" like he was thinking about it. :rotfl2:

:rotfl:

Mel said:
Wanna come to WDW a day earlier and crash with me? No charge my dear! I have to pay anyway....

Would love to, but Yani has to work and it then we'd be driving in 2 cars. Thank you though! You're the sweetest!

Mel said:
Bob tells my boys that they can have as many girlfriends as they want but only ONE wife. :sad2:

 That Bob

Z,,Big hugs for you. I feel bad that your going through this.

-------------------------
off to work! :

Thanks Carrie
Have a good day at work!

Hi Everyone!

Back from the vet.... and I've got a little good news.

Oh that's good to hear! :goodvibes

I bet we can find her a hottie at Raglan Road! If we drink enough, they'll all look hot! :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

: Oh Z I'm sorry about everything, hang in there

Thanks Jo!

Did you not wash the capris before wearing them? :confused3

**********************************************

So my bday is next month I'm turning 30 :rolleyes1
and I wanted to do something fun and special.

I'm not sure about Disney yet. I was gonna go w/ the BF but he may not be the BF by then. I had told my mom I was going with him and she didn't request it off, but I then told her we should go she said she'd have to see what she could do. Yani's AP doesn't work that day so if she went she'd have to pay for a 1 day ticket, which sucks and almost feels like a waste of money. So it's up in the air.

Then I started pricing those all inclusives in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Mexico. They're nice, but they're about $500 per person. Basically it's the airfare that kills it.

I was also thinking of a cruise, but there aren't cruises that I haven't been on that I'd like to spend money on. IKWIM

Most of my friends are bad at RSVPing to parties, so I don't want to waste money on a party and not have anyone show up.

So anyone have suggestions on other ways I could celebrate?

Well I got back from PR yesterday. It was a nice relaxing vacation, but we really didn't do much and that was boring for me. I don't even have any pictures to share because we didn't go anywhere.

Also I think I'm gonna tell the BF we need a break. I haven't really spoken to him for a week and I left angry at him and I see no future with him. He's a good guy, but I'm not convinced he's for me.

I need my WDW vacation NOW!

I am so sorry you didn't have a better time, you do need that WDW vacation right now. I would be stressed about the stuff going on at your job too. I think you are right about the break, if you aren't seeing a future with him, then it is better to break it off earlier than later.

Guess what, Fockers? I got a call about our first showing. It's scheduled for tomorrow from 4-5pm!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

YAY!!! Good luck!!

Been doing Laundry and other household chores today so not been here. :guilty:
It's about time to start Supper. Think tonight it'll be Cheeseburgers and Hot dogs On the Grill. Sounds easy. I made some coleslaw earlier. So not much kitchen mess

I wish we could grill out :sad1:, we live on the 5th floor of an apartment building so no grilling for us.

I have 4 eight year olds here and they are cracking me up.

They told me that when they were in art class a girl wrote a note to another girl that said "Your butt looks sexy today.":lmao:

There is nothing like talking to kids in that age range, they say the funniest things. :rotfl:

Home from getting kids. Bob's home doing some researchy reading for work. He HATES that. It's SO boring and puts him to sleep.

I'm going to pop on over to FB and see what type of mystery boxes I can afford....
LOL
MEL:banana:

Hi Mel, Bill is doing a research paper and it is driving him insane :sad2:. I feel Bob's pain.

Hi Everyone!

Back from the vet.... and I've got a little good news. The vet was very happy with Max's physical exam. He has actually gained one pound since he was there last and he shows no signs of being sick. That leads her to think that it isn't cancer, since he hasn't lost weight and he isn't vomiting. So that's definitely a good thing! She's still not sure what's wrong with his liver, but we're going to start him on some low-dose antibiotics to keep the healthy tissue in his liver healthy for as long as possible. We'll also put him on a supplement to try to encourage some regeneration in his liver. So, for now, no news is good news. If something changes in his health, we'll revisit everything.

We've got Brownies tonight, so I've got to get dinner started. I may be back later. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Jodi that is wonderful news!!

I can't find Kristel's picture she posted of her in a dress for a Homecoming or a Prom..( can't remember which it was....)
But it looks similar to this one of mine. Except mine has no sleeves and is creme colored.

This was Homecoming for me . I was 16

Homecoming1979-1.jpg

Yeah I blurred the guy's face :rotfl: It improved him

OMG that was the style wasn't it, mine was lavender purple, but long sheer sleeves but the same bodice, we were stylin back then :thumbsup2.

I don't know how reliable this is, but I hope it is true...Characters returning to Liberty Tree

http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/archive/2009/03/12/disney-food.aspx

Bill hopes this is true, we really did love the character interaction there.

These crowds are stressing me out. :scared1: Mel, calm me down... :scared:

Mel, it will be ok , you will be at our happy place.

I wore my new dark denim capris today, this evening though I noticed I had a huge bruise on my calf  I then looked and I had one on the other calf too  turns out it's the dye from my capris :rotfl2: You should see the state of my knees :rotfl:

Hi Jo! OMG that is funny :lmao: .

I 'm with you Jo!! I put butter and salt on my pancakes I don't like maple syrup and mixing sweet and savory! Everyon thinks I'm NUTS!!:rotfl2:

You aren't nuts Rosie, you like what you like.

=======================================================================

Today is a hard one, 17 years ago today my Mom died of breast cancer, I was 22 years old and took her to every doctors appointment, cancer treatment (radiation and chemo), and took care of her when she couldn't. I miss my best friend .

She did give me many things, love, compassion, and I learned how to put someone else ahead of me. If I hadn't helped her when she was sick, I doubt I would have thought I was capable of being with my Bill. He has Cerebral Palsy and is in a power wheelchair. I will be forever grateful to her for the life lessons she taught me.

Hi everyone!

Jenny just headed out for a girl scout service unit meeting, so I'm hoping I have time tonight to go back to one of Kristel's updates and read on through until current. Right now, I've got to start bed time with the kids.

TTFN!

Weird. Well, here in the States, it's the thing to do! :confused3
So, are you telling me I can't interest you in a little ham and brownie casserole. :confused3

Back from the running...now off to get the kiddos to bed. I hope everyone has a great night and I'll see you in the morning...just in time to start it all again. :grouphug:

Hiya All. Still feeling like poo but Im so bored I had to po back on. Slept and couched all day.

So I found out KC's boss is going to go to the Adventure's Club weekend thing and it seemed to spark some hope in KC, LOL. I wish. We'll see, he did seem interested.

Anyways back to the couch after I catch up on my threads.

Okay. First, I'm going to second Carrie's dubbing of Kristel as the Fab Focker Updater! Thank you Kristel! :worship:

Since I've got about 5 pages to review to get current, I'm going to have to take a pass on the quoting and just comment as I go.

Kristel- You should not tempt those of us who are already addicted to multiple online communities with yet another... :surfweb: If work keeps slowing down, I may take you up on your pull, so I can follow along vicariously on your WDW planning.

Rosie, S'late- Hi!

Mel- WTG on the exercise program this morning. :thumbsup2 I had to bail on mine this morning and was not happy about it. DD11 was home sick with tummy issues, so I was home getting her settled in for the day before work. :woohoo: on the week countdown!

Rachel- Hope things go quickly at court, and you don't have to sit around to long before they call you.

Kate- Sound like you had a busy schedule today. Hope it all went well. :)

Katt- Sorry you had a trying morning.

Mary- Not sure I understand the issues with FB. The only thing I can think of is that having met Guy 3 he's got more of a personal connection. On the taxes, I just got my stuff to our accountant last week. I feel for my accountant because no matter what we do it's bad news. The best possible outcome is that we paid an amount we thought was too high but is pretty much dead on what we should owe. If I overpaid, the government got an interest-free loan from me; if I underpaid, I have to cut another check with possibly a penalty. No good news possible. :sad2: Also, my accountant told me I need to track down the names and social security numbers of anyone who we paid to watch the kids so that Jenny and I could both work. I'm not sure how comfortable I feel asking the neighbor across the way for his daughter's social secuirty number...

Dawn- 5 days. :woohoo:!!! I second the vote for band-aids and camera stuff. It's amazing how band-aids magically make wounds feel all better.:rolleyes1 Good luck with the showing of the house!

Janet- Hi! Hope your day went well and you frain became unbried. :upsidedow I think it must have to do with dealing with our legal system that just naturally causes frain brying.

Jodi- Sorry that DH got sick! Just when you thought it was safe to enter the house again...

V- Sorry to hear about the traffic headache! It's cool you're going to have an extra few days on your trip this summer. I'm wishing we could swing it, but unless Jenny finds a new job, it's not really in the budget.

Kat- Feel better. Make sure to get enough rest!

Carrie-  okay, just one quote since you got me on this one.
Maybe its all of the AIG excecutives on vacation.
::yes::

Z- Sorry to hear you're going through a rough spot at the office and the relationship.

-------------
Oops. Jenny's back, and I've still got a couple pages to go. I'll post this for now, and hopefully, come back later tonight or tomorrow...

TTFN! :wave2:

:wave2:

Hiya!

Another missing Focker checking in.

I had a wonderful weekend with Dr. Belle. We didn't do anything terribly exciting - except eat Bosnian food! - but we get along well just sitting and chatting and hanging. :thumbsup2

How's everyone? I've been reading status updates on FB, but might be missing stuff.

D is in Orlando until tomorrow, but appears to be working in his room a lot.

I played horrible, horrible tennis today and lost a match - and it was mostly my fault. I just couldn't hit a ball. :sad2:

And, yep, that's what I've got. I'll try to keep up from here on out, but with D home for the weekend, not sure what we're doing or how much time I'll have. I miss you! :grouphug:

Hi from my slow phone connection (my phone +dis in WDW = q@@@(;)!$(@)

I am in desperate need of a rocket favor asap! Please can some one email or end via fb message the name of the stroller company that delivers to WDW resorts?!? Please... Ours broke tonight and we have to have one!

We are having fun (-) the resort issues we've had.

Orlando Crib Rental is one 407-433-7770

Ez Rental 1-866-394-1115

A Baby's Best Friend 407-891-2229

I found these on the DIS, not sure if the prices are good or not.

I was going to email you but it says you don't accept emails from members here. Good Luck :goodvibes .

(I pm'd her in hopes that she gets email notifications from the DIS)

Sorry Fockers! The Job has kept me busy tonight.

Mel isn't ready for vacation, as far as packing goes. She's doing mental excersises too. She cooked breakfast for dinner.

Miz D is ging to the girl's weekend! She needs to get their taxes done. Can you believe she is tuning down a trip to WDW in May? She also had an interesting chat about girls with her DS and his friends.

Jodi didn't know what to do with herself until the DH came home sick. The furbaby is OK for now. :flower3: She had brownies for dinner..... no wait, she had brownies and had to make dinner. I think she means the girl scout kind.

Dawn is not packed yet either.  She'll be out of town all weekend. Her first home showing is tomorrow! :cheer2:

It's Slate's birthday!!!!
Happy Birthday Slate!

Hedy saved the day once with a BandAid!

Jo did more gardening and some walking. She found out that she needs to wash her denims before she wears them the first time.:rotfl2: I always knew you were a blue blood.

Carrie is joining the dark side-but she doesn't like it. I hope you get your sleep turned around. Loved the AIG comment.;)

Kat is not feeling well.

Z's back and her reality sux. Work sux. The BF sux.  She needs ideas for her b-day that is next month.

Katt had her chest squish yesterday - all is well. Love the picture Pg 83, #1233.

Rosie is nuts.

MrsKS - You are a super woman. Your mother would be very proud! I glad to know you!:goodvibes

G-Luv has 2 days left.

Tig was trying to get caught up. DD11 is sick.

CE was in da house. She ate some Bosnian food. What do Bosnians eat? She had a bad tennis day.

JV checked in. Their stroller broke. They are having fun but it sounds like there were some resort probs.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

I don't have any plans for this weekend. I told my soon to be X-SIL she could come over on Saturday if she wanted. Things have gone way south with my Brother. :sad2:
I'll probably clean and finish my painting in the basement. Oh and visit with whoever is here.

Nope and that's unheard of for me :rotfl2: Not sure what to suggest for your Birthday, how about a hot air balloon flight or something like that?

Jo did more gardening and some walking. She found out that she needs to wash her denims before she wears them the first time.:rotfl2: I always knew you were a blue blood.
:rotfl2: So what was the big surprise you spoke about the other day????

Lazy day here today, been to the supermarket managed to buy Jess 2 pairs of jeans as they were reduced from £10 to £2 so I couldn't not buy them :rotfl2: I think I'll go and answer some questions!!!

Mornin', all!

Kristel, great as always!

I have a few minutes before heading out to my fun tennis class. My friend who is also in it and I may go have coffee or something afterwards. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a happy Thursday! I'll be back later. :grouphug:
