A very used runaround that will hold about 8 passengers. Nothing fancy - trying for something that the tax refund we finally got from last year's state issues will mostly cover.

I vacuumed up all the sand (from the walk and street, etc.) that had gathered at the front hall, and cleaned the downstairs bathroom. Yep, time for a break!

Not a long one, though. I need to vacuum, then mop, the kitchen, vacuum the family room, and still do the appliances. It really shouldn't take me long, but if I just buckle down and do it, the rest of the day is mine to veg.

Max and I are back from the vet. I don't know anything yet though. They took him back to do the ultrasound and will call my vet who will then call me with the results. So, I get to wait around all afternoon....

I am just 3 short days away from going to WDW! Yippe!

So Puerto Rico has been fun and relaxing. Haven't done much but hang out with my dad and brothers. Exciting huh?

I feel so badly for Kat, as I have a backache that kept me from sleeping much last night, and I'm moaning about it. I can't imagine if it were chronic.

I don't wish this pain on anyone, thats for sure! Hope you are feeling better, an epsom salt bath did wonders for me!

Hi all. I got sleep- 10 hours of it! I passed out last night and didn't see the light until after 11am! It felt good! I feel less sore and much better.

Today will be a mellow day tho. I enlisted KC to make some muffins and coffee (here's hoping that goes well) and we have to hit the grocery store at some point but thats it. I actually found 2 good Disney wedding reports so I am gonna read 'em today I think.

My gate's open in animal crossing because KC is playing for me, fishing for a while, so if Ed or T are around- pop in and say HI!

back to the couch with me! Thanks all for the good wishes while I was in bad shape!

Still waiting on the vet to call. But, I'm headed to the pediatrician now. Just picked DD5 up from preschool and her teacher said she had a rough day and didn't think she was feeling well (again). This happens at least once every two weeks. She's literally had a runny nose since we came home from WDW in October! She has a tissue permanently attached to her hand. I'm so sick of her being sick and really really grumpy! So, I finally decided I've had enough and I called the doctor. We've got an appointment at 2:00. I'm thinking she may have some allergies, but I just want to make sure it's nothing else before putting her on allergy meds.

Busy, busy, busy weekend! I've got a cookie booth this afternoon, tomorrow Maddie and I are starting to build her miniature dollhouse Waldo bought her and then Sunday another cookie booth.

I'm trying to keep up with Kristel's handy dandy Focker summary, which is fantastic BTW. She always makes me crack up with her little comments!

Off to finish up the laundry.

I'm so glad you're better. I am able to move, but am using a lot of Advil. I can't figure out what happened to me.

We have pretty decent summers, usually. This past one was cool and rainy, but we get nice enough weather for a while. Of course, the kids are only out of school for 2 months, but... It's certainly not worth a new, big boat, in my opinion, but in the price range he's looking at, it's fine. We are lucky in that we can head up on weekdays because of D's job, rather than the weekends, which can get super-crowded. I'm not completely sold, but he's wanted one for years, and we have the money for what he's looking at.

I fell asleep on the couch whilst waiting for it to be time to get SD! Now I'm all discombobulated.

I stopped at McD's for coffee. So far, I'm still sleepy.

Back from the pediatrician...... and it's strep! No fever or sore throat, just a runny nose and cough, but the doc said her tonsils are huge, so he did a strep test. I think we were both surprised to see it come back positive.

Anyway, I'm going scrapbooking tonight as soon as DH gets home. He had to drive to Dayton, Ohio today for a work meeting. The meeting is supposedly finished at 4pm, which means he should be home around 6-6:30 pm.

Still waiting to hear from the vet....
